they aren't called phones...we're in the bloody future...they have to sound snazzy....so its a comm that you contact people on. ie, why he answers his comm, not his bloody cell phone.

comm, phone, it's still a number you have to call and you're talking to no one if no one's calling.

with a comm you can leave a message, and you cant call someone if you dont have their frequency...hmm...perhaps a codex entry would clear this up?
