Mimoko twitched when she heard Kimil make a command, turning around to look at her. She headed to the bed, flopped down, and looked up at Kimil, obedient as ever, and yet she held some spark in her eyes as she looked at her. "It was my duty to get your things, and you were asleep." She stated, looking to the side and blinking wearily, ears flopping down. What she really wanted to do was sit outside the bed and stand watch for Kimil while she rested.
"And, it made me happy to serve you." She added quietly.

Kimil who had flopped on the edge of the bed and scooted over toward Mimoko a bit. “I understand that and am grateful you went back for my clothes. However, your duty is also to remain intake and healthy so you might serve me for a long time. If you run yourself ragged whatever shall I do?” Kimil raised a paw and petting the top of Mimoko’s head. “It is a master’s duty to look out and protect all vassals that serve them. Would you make me out to be such a horrible master?” In truth the idea of Mimoko hurting herself made Kimil want to retch.

Her ears flopped down as the paw touched her head, looking up at her from where her hair covers her eyes. She wiggled her tail once, looking down. "I didn't want you going back for it. I want you to sleep, but...."
She stopped, shaking her head while closing her eyes rapidly. "No, I would never want people to think you're a bad master!" She exclaimed, looking up at Kimil in desperation. "I want them to see you as a good master, like I do!"

“You are a very sweet girl Mimoko. Still I don’t want you to have to go back toward danger and risk yourself simply for the sack of clothes that can be retrieved at a later date. You are more valuable than the armor.”
Seeing the desperation and panic in her servants eyes Kimil chuckled. “I am glad that you think so. Just remember that your actions are a reflection upon me. I have no desire to see you injured in the quest for armor. Others would think a slave driver or a frivolous fox who has no value for the lives of those under me.”

Mimoko frowned, nodded. "I'm sorry." She said, looking up at Kimil. She was right, in a way. Though Mimoko would probably keep making these mistakes due to her wanting to please her mistress more than anything. Her tail wiggled, yawning slightly as she looked over at the 'Phim.
"Do you...." She blushed, wondering if this was offensive. "You know...do what birds do? Lose your feathers time to time?" She hoped that Kimil wouldn't be embarrassed because of her small little question.

Kimil resisted the urge to tell Mimoko it was alright. Perhaps if she were firm with Mimoko now then the other vixen would not put herself in danger later. If anything happened to Mimoko Kimil was uncertain what she would do. She had to protect Mimoko even from herself at times.
“Yes I do loose a feather here and there. They fall out one at a time though, and new ones are always growing. This way I do not go bald at once. I am thankful for that. The modieties were kind to phims. Why do you ask?”

"Well I...."
Mimoko blushed, looking down, embarrassed. She pawed at the ground, tail uncurling slightly. "B-Because I was wondering if I could have one of your feathers as a.... as a earring or necklace?" She asked, looking up with tinted cheeks.
"So I can always have you nearby, even if we get separated or you dismiss me?" She asked, looking upwards at Kimil with a wag of her tail.

Kimil’s eyes widened considerably. “Ah.. Mimoko. To wear another’s feathers is..” Kimil blushed and looked down unable to speak. To allow Mimoko this would mean that Mimoko was certainly not a servant, but rather something more. Intimately more. Still looking at Mimoko’s face she could not bring herself to spoil such innocence. “Yes. I will let you wear my feathers to mark you as mine, though at some point in the future will have to speak about things more.”

Her head tilted to the side, blinking at Kimil. "Is it bad?" She asked, not really understanding why Kimil was acting so strange. However, her tail wiggled when Kimil agreed. It couldn't be that bad if Kimil had said yes, right?!
"Speak? Oh, of how to care for the feather, right? I can wear it as a necklace~ Or earring!" She mused, grinning up at her in pure elated joy.

“No there is nothing bad about wearing another’s feathers. It is rather something more ah..” Kimil wondered how she could explain such things to the other vixen. “Ah no. I do not wish to speak of how to care for it. I wish to gather my thoughts on how to explain something to you later.” For now she just closed her eyes and tried to figure things out a bit more.

As Kimil closed her eyes Mimoko took it as a sign to be quiet for a second, tail wiggling happily. Now, she'd just have to weight for a feather to come fluttering down the next time she washed Kimil's hair~ Then, she could happily keep it on a necklace or earring and show that she was her mistress's loyal servant.
She was blushing slightly, happy to not only be told yes, but to have something of Kimil's, something literally from her, promised to her. Why was she blushing so hard? Ohh... Maybe she should think, too, while Kimil did.

How exactly do I tell Mimoko that wearing something from me in such a manner would mean that we were lovers or mates? Do outworlders have such a custom here? I should track down and ask the other Tzarans here. I am sure they would know. Still Mimoko didn’t seem to think about such a thing so then perhaps her tribe had a different way of declaring mates. So giving her one of my feathers later or letting her pluck one now makes no difference does it? As long as she’s happy then it can’t be a bad thing. She really is such a good servant and friend. She risked her very life for me and cares for me better than I deserve.
Opening her eyes Kimil decided. “Mimoko you may take a feather of mine now if you wish it.”

When Kimil finally spoke she hopped up, smiling as her curled tail wiggled. "Really?" She squeaked, carefully moving to the 'Phim's side and using her paws very, very gently to rest on her masters side, searching for a feather that was lose enough to pick off, finding one that if she removed wouldn't hurt Kimil and gently using her teeth to retrieve it.
When she had it she smiled and slipped it behind her ear for now. Next time she saw something to make it into an accessory she would. "Thank you!"

Gasping softly Kimil blushed. The gentle touch of Mimoko’s paws on her wings made her feel strange. Even more so then before. She laid her head down and kept her gaze away from her servant so that Mimoko would not see any of her embarrassing weakness showing. She only turned her head back when she heard Mimoko thank her. “You are most welcome.” She curled her tail about herself so that she could put a barrier up between her and Mimoko. It was instinctual not to want her servant to see her so weak.

When Kimil raised her tail to create a barrier Mimoko blinked. What had she done wrong? Glancing at the ground she contemplated it, had she taken out her feather to hard? She had heard a gasp. She didn't touch Kimil, instead merely leaving.
It took her minutes to return, and when she did she had a different feather, perhaps from a raven. "I heard you gasp, I washed this feather and I can put it to replace the one I took out to roughly." Of course, she didn't have feathers so she didn't understand that you couldn't replace feathers. She just wanted to help.
