Solders crossed throughout the city, stopping to whisper to their fellow guards, who then began moving around the city. An army was mobilizing, preparing for a battle and possibly even a civil war. Excited whispers of nobility’s return fluttered through the city. Bright and hopeful eyes turned to watch the powerful Valkyrie as he marched past, making his way to the destination in the southeast district of the city.
Raz was not accompanied my six guards, all loyal to nobility, escorting him through the city for easy passage through the barricades set up by other guards. The governor’s men were poorly trained and uninformed. Those this far from the mansion were unaware of the situation and only knew to let anyone being escorted through.
With his squad of guards, Raz was able to move through the city with ease, and arrived to the scene were his companions awaited quickly. He saw the mad clad in white robes, and arrived just in time to hear the reasoning behind his blocking their path. With a wave of his hand, the guards around Raz formed a wall between him, putting the Valkyrie and his companions between a wall of guards and the man in white robes. Ras stepped forward, his scythe still drawn. “If the safety of the realm is what you want, then our goals are the same.” He spoke in calm, nonaggressive tones. “I am the grand master of the knights of nobility.” The Valkyrie announced for all to hear. “I have no intention of simply storming their hold. While I do plan to eradicate their presence in the city, proper strategies must first be discussed to protect the citizens and preserve and knowledge they may have.”

Jasper's lip formed a thin line as the Kor stepped forward, his fists clenching slightly as Sasha's fur bristled with electricity. "You may have business with the Eidolons, but members of my guild, which was destroyed at the hands of the same individuals, are being held hostage by them, and I would have them returned to my care immediately or I will take it to my care." He stated, stepping in front of the Valkyrie that seemed to come out of nowhere and try and take control and play the hero again, as he often did.
He wanted to turn around and show the taller male that he wasn't the only one of any importance, but he figured it would be better for show if they all acted together than tore each other down. "I agree with what Lord Raz'iel says, though I would prefer the Eidolons to be ended, and I'm sure my companions would also prefer that, simply to alleviate the tension on their trade organization. I would rather not get those involved that do not need to be, so it would be preferable that you step aside." the Wieva spoke, his voice slowly gaining more authority as he became comfortable with his position.

"Mindless squabbling? Oh, sure, your majesty! Whatever you say, your majesty" the Nikatal hissed in irritation, baring his fangs. Although his whisper was dripping with sarcasm and animosity, Ace was actually quite glad that the odd man had intervened since it returned his dagger. Nevertheless, they were wasting precious time since every seconds counted with lives at stake so Ace readjusted his dagger in his grip and slipped into a battle stance, tail whipping back and forth behind him, testimony of his agitation.
"Okay, okay, how about this? Since we all have business with the Eidolons, how about we work together? Once we've beaten them to a pulp and rescued this guys' friends," a head tilt in Jasper's direction. "we can leave a few of them alive for you to interrogate or have for breakfast. Sounds fair?"
At that moment, their new companion tilted his head down and stepped behind them so that he may whisper without being seen. "There is also another way in, through the sewers," he motioned towards a narrow ditch, so narrow that it was easy to miss. The poor aqueduct system of the neighborhood allowed plenty of sewage to overflow into it.
"I will stay here with my men and the Nobility knights to hold him back should negotiations fail. That men should not be underestimated. " With a wordless movement, their companion signaled for his men to form a line in front of their ragtag group of thieves, knights and made men and hinder their opponent's view of the shorter members of the group should they decide to slip away.

Ever the patient man, Bu listened to the opposing group's proposal. Their arguments were sound and he had to admit that although not necessarily needed, their help would prove to be an asset if only to quicken the whole process. "Very well, then."
With one fluid movement, Bu stepped aside to clear the path and turned around to head into the slums. "I can only assume that the ones that have kidnapped your comrades are somehow related to the madness that is Evolution so I will assist you in your rescue on the condition that no harm will come to the ones that do not resist and that the leader be kept alive for questioning," he said out loud to the group before dashing farther ahead.
The housings around the area were built from the ruins of what must have been a prosperous city, but were now mere proof of the disparity in riches existing between the citizens of Caran. Housings consisted of bits of walls or corners barely standing on which wood and animal skin were thrown to serve as a flimsy barrier against wind and rain.
The group's confrontation had not gone unnoticed based on how seemingly empty the area was, but Bu caught movement in his peripheral vision when he went to better observe the water wells around which the housings were arranged in an organized mess. He noted that the majority of them seemed empty which was quite odd considering how that was not the case of other areas of Caran. Without a word, he picked up a water bucket lying around and threw it at the nearest moving shadow in one quick movement of his powerful upper body. That was all that was needed for the Eidolons to come rushing out of their hiding spots, some armed with makeshift arrows while others, better equipped ones, rushed in with swords and maces.

Girdrazz had finally made his way to the center of the city though with all the commotion of whatnot, it had slowed him down more then he would have liked. Now, he stood at the city's center point on a tomb pillar standing over 30 feet tall and as wide as a small house made of a slick black stone that shone in the sun. Placing his hand over the stone, he unleashed a powerful burst of elemental energy's through out the pillar. It cracked and soon split in half. Dark soul energy flashed over the city spreading like fire knocking things and people over as it spread outwards. When it hit the city limits a barrier formed over the city trapping those inside with whats was about to be unleashed. All the energy city wide flooded back towards the broken pillar. It drained lesser mage's of all there Mana and left even those most powerful of mage gasping on the floor trying to pull back their mana that has been pulled so forcefully from their bodies.
As the mana combined and began to take shape. A creature formed from the mana standing so large it shattered the barrier that had formed. It was so large it seemed to in-golf the suns them selves.

"If you wish, you are more than welcome to come with us and oversee the capture of which ever members of this group you seek, so long as I get my people back safely... My guild is nearly gone and I need them around me to rebuild." Jas said. He exhaled slowly as the avatar seemed to accept his conditions prematurely, glad to not have any more enemies standing in front of him for now.
Sasha tensed slightly as the air rippled with an unknown power, but the wieva brushed it off as the Eidolon fell from the alley, a bucket wrapped around his head with the force of the Avatar's toss. The Male tensed as more poured out after their comrade fell, the Wieva wordlessly pulling his staff and dagger out of the electrically charged crystal at his neck. "I don't suppose you all want to give up easily, would you?" He said, dancing nimbly away from the blows of the Eidolon troops while swinging the staff around like a bat. He knocked several of the first soldiers back into one another like well placed Dominoes while he waited for the remaining hidden foes to know their odds better.

Raz breathed a sigh of relief when the man blocking their way agreed to their terms without any combat necessary. The covered strangers spoke his demands of their bargain, but dashed away, searching for his enemies, before Raz had a chance to agree. The Valkyrie entered the area with caution, keeping a close eye on his two companions. The place was surprisingly empty, but the stench of death pervaded the air, giving away the presence of the Eidolons.
Raz didn’t have to wait long. The strange man that had previously blocked their way hurled a bucked into an ally and hit his target, a hidden Eidolon, and cause more of the undead creatures to reveal themselves. The Valkyrie scanned the area, locating Jaz to assure he was safe, before he gave a mighty sing of his scythe, cleaving through several of his foes at once.
He couldn’t help but shake the feeling of a much more powerful presence in the city, but couldn’t quite place were the source of such power was located. He tried to focus on the battle at hand, when suddenly he felt a wave of power wash over him and rip away his reserves of magical energy. The attack left his weekend and unable to cast any spells, but it didn’t slow down the swinging of his scythe. The Valkyrie cleaved through the Eidolon ranks, making his way closer to Jasper to make sure the weiva was unharmed.

Bu had let the Eidolons charge at him unperturbed and calm as ever even as he unleashed a series of precise blows, felling half a dozen of his assailant when the dark summon's magic swept through the area. It washed over him like a fetid breeze, but an inefective one just as he brought his knee into the gut of another attacker.
He allowed the man to fall onto the ground before turning around to face the direction the blast had come for. "If you will excuse me, it looks as though I have no more reason to be here," he said in the direction of the fighting party and left without another word, pushing past the staggering attackers that were still recovering from the lost of their mana.
He had been looking for a powerful dark wizard and whoever summoned that creature fit all 3 criteria so there was no point for him to assist the wieva's rescue. However, he had to distract the creature before it did anything else and he was still quite a distance away by foot unfortunately. He needed something that would attract the creature's attention, such as...a double of himself.
Reaching into his cloak, Bu pulled out an ornate mirror thrumming with magic and flashed it in the direction of colossal warrior. It shone before exploding releasing a beam of light that took the exact shape and appearance of the powerful creature summoned at the heart of Caran.
The copy growled, unleashing another shockwave before raising his sword and bringing it down onto its original. As far as they were from each other, the distance was not great enough that the length of their body and blade could not cover.
Having found something to distract the creature Bu continued his journey to the center of the city, carefully jumping out of the way of stray blows to avoid being stomped on by the two giants. He had a wizard to find and hoped that he was not too late.

Ace had let out a sigh of relief when Bu had agreed, but promptly pulled that thought back when said man brought out a swarm of armed Eidolons charging them. Fortunately, a shockwave ripped through the whole city, stilling them in their tracks as it drained away all of their Mana. Ace was not left unaffected however, but took Raziel's lead and took out his dagger to go for an all melee brawl.
The Artifact back-up promptly rushed in to aid them, but it was no longer necessary as the Eidolon seem to have been greatly affected by their loss of mana. It wasn't long before they were subdued even with the departure of Bu. "That good for nothing..."
"Intel says our people are down there!" the burly man that had revealed himself to be an agent of Artifact said while pointing at the water well the Nicatal had been busy smashing his opponent's head on and Ace promptly dropped his prey to jump onto the edge. He may have lost his precious rope, but the lever system could offer him a life provided that someone was up there to bring them back up. He hesitated, looking around for Raziel and Jasper, but the decision was made for him when a second one of that giant creature spawned, barely a few hundred yards from there they are.
The ground shook under the creature's mighty swing of a sword and Ace lost his balance much to his embarrassment. (He was a Nicatal, goddamit!) and sent him plummeting down into the dry well.

As the copy summon was about to bring down its sword Girdrazz gave a mental command and the original brought its spear into a stabbing motion dorected towards a populated district of the city. The spear slammed into building and raised hole slabs of earth from their resting place. Hundreds had to have died in the attack and hundreds more would die as chunks of earth and rock fell back down to earth crushing many more. Girdrazz as a shock and awe fighter who wanted to send a message that nothing was going to stop him. Not even this fales copy of an ancient sealed summon. The copys attack hit with out any resistance. As the attack landed Gridrazz jumped from the summons head leaving it to brawl with its copy for a short time while he dealt with his new friend. Landing on top of some building that had been crushed in the giants colossal moments he made straight for the man wrapped in white. As he came into view from around the corner of some now ruined building he unleashed another summons. A lesser summons but a powerful one none the less. right as it was unleashed from its scroll it fired off a powerful blast of black fire.

Jas hadn't noticed the mana drain until he tried to use his lightning heels to avoid a sudden downswing, which glanced along his ribs before he was able to right himself and knock the Eidolon out. He panted softly, glancing around at the circle of downed zombies before Sasha's shriek at the sight of blood on the Wieva's shirt startled him. "What's wrong, Sash-" He asked before he pulled his hand back and saw little flecks of yellow blood. "Oh. Dammit..." He hissed at the sight of blood and pressed his hand back to the scratch, pouting as he leaned against his staff. He walked as gently after the Nikatal as he could, convinced the ground shaking was just blood loss until the feline feel face first into the well. "ACE?!" He hurried forward to the well, his hand leaving his side long enough to leave a little trail of yellow splotches where his blood dripped.

The destruction the spear had caused had forced Bu to deviate from his original path to avoid some debris and toss a few survivors out of the way. The detour landed him face to face with what he assumed to be the man at the origin of the attack on Caran and a smaller creature that had been summoned. Heavoid the black fire sent his way and brought his fists up to attempt to land a blow on it or at least to push it away so he could get to the pale man behind it. Bu was disappointed to realize that it was not the mage he had been looking for, but him must surely know something which made up for the time he would be wasting here.
In the background, the imitation raised its blade and brought it down for another blow. The only instruction he had been given was to take down its original and would be doing only that, oblivious to the damage it would be causing to its surroundings.
(OoC: I don't really know what to do with Bu's stats but updated them a bit. I think it says level 4 only because Kouga had started at level 1? Otherwise, 5 skill points had vanished idk where XD)

Raz was almost to Jasper when Bu summoned another colossus. Raz took to the skies to avoid the debris of the destruction the two giants caused. He know Jasper could move much quicker on the ground than he could, so he wasn’t too concerned with the wieva’s safety at this point since most of the Eidolons were incapacitated by the mana draining wave. Raz evaded stone and glass as he flew threw the air, trying to keep an eye on the battle field. He spotted Ace just as one of the giants shook the earth, causing the cat to fall into the well.
The valkyrie dove, landing gently next to the well just as Jasper reached the edge. He immediately noticed the blood trailing from Jasper and was by his side in just a few long steps. “You’re injured.” Raz gently stroked his fingers over the wound, wishing he could do something to heal it, but he could feel his reserves of mana were still too low. “Take this.” He said, fishing out a bottle from his pouch. “It’s a healing potion.” The valkyrie looked down the well, he could see the bottom, and Ace. It wasn’t too far and Jasper could definitely make it down on his own. “Go save your people, I’m going to stay and keep this guy busy.” Raz said, flicking a wing towards the summoner and his dragon.
Raz didn’t wait for a response. He pushed of the ground and took to the air once more. Raz agilely flew past the falling debris and used the white robed man’s distraction to his advantage. The young valkyrie landed on the roof behind the man, not trying to hide his presence at all. Normally Raz always tried to negotiate first, but he didn’t bother with speaking at all and took a powerful swing with his scythe.

Jas stabilized himself against the well as the colossi shook the ground again with their size. He looked at the potion the Valkyrie had given him and then up at the man as he hurtled towards the dragon summon. He stowed the potion in his crystal, which sparked until another item appeared in the wieva's hand. "Ace is already down there... There's not much more I can do." he said, leaping up onto a nearby roof. He kept one hand firmly pressed against the slim cut on his side to stem the bleeding as he held the item in his hand up over his head. The scroll rolled out and sparked angrily, sending an eerie yellow light over Sasha. The otter bristled and chattered, slowly shifting into the creature that the scroll would have brought into being. "You need me here." He said with finality. He jumped up onto dragon Sasha's head as the elemental took off towards the fire dragon, letting loose a terrible roar. Using the speed of his lightning, Sasha was upon the other dragon far quicker than the winged man, his claws raking the red dragon's chest violently while his jaw locked around his neck, keeping the ground-borne dragon suspended in the air.

The battle was quickly turning bloody and extremely dangerous. He watched in shock as the new thunder summon dragon blasted down his dragon summons and only a second later saw the second still coming. He forced an up whelling of mana into his hand and formed a small round orb. He had formed his signatura Soul Catcher spell and added the Equality behind it. He would stop the full on brunt of the attack now. ( the two combined buff's 12 weapon damage and 8 spell damage - the 4 for your attack, now able to buff another 8 total weapons damage.) the scythe slamemd into the orb and was quickly pushed aside. Girdrazz counter attack by attempting to uppercut the man as the scythe was pushed aside.

As this was all going on he was quickly calculating his odds of killing Bu. his only real target here. As his red dragon summon and the thunder dragon summon battled it out he gave the command to blast the second thunder summons with an elemental blast. It was only after to push back the thunder summon so much but was able to fire a loosely aimed one in its direction. At the same time he used the dust cover to get in closer to Bu. The man was still recovering from trying to take on a elemental blast with his bare hands. He rushed forward trying to upper cut Bu as he had with the winged man before.
