Slade rolled his eyes at Owen."Yeah, I figured you kept track of my arrivals."Slade wasn't overly fond of Owen, we was a bit too odd. He wasn't sure what Owen thought of most of the time, sometimes he didn't even think Owen was even human. Slade's attention drew back at the younger gargoyle who was much calmer. Her face was slightly flushed. He walked over to the young gargoyle."Are you alright, Xanatos isn't being a creepy old man is he?"Slade let out a slight chuckle Xanatos wasn't really old but hey Slade needed his fun to. He wasn't sure if Yakoné was another mutate or a gargoyle, she seems a lot calmer as well as different features than the others. Yet oddly enough she seems familiar, she reminded him of one of his human friends. Her hair was the main feature he first noticed about her, it was like how he had put green into his, though her's was more likely a natural hair color.

Owen ignored the impatient mutate. For what ever reason Slade never got along with him. Owen wasn't sure if he just didn't think he was important or if it was much more of a deeper matter. He had hoped it was the first reason, it would become troublesome if Slade knew anything more about him. He tried not to pay to much attention to it at the moment. First priority's was to make sure the gargoyles had full trust in Xanatos. With the help of Slade it would make things go much smoother. That is if Slade agreed to help.

Lexington had took a fast currently that put him in the lead. However Brooklyn didn't seem to noticed, Broadway on the other hand just smiled. Nyxie tried her best to position herself to land like she did back in alleyway down town. While positioning herself to land she didn't pay attention to the crown part of the statue. Which was her first mistake, her second was trying to land in the same direction in which Lexington was intending to land. Before she could call out to Lexington she had glided right into him Knocking them both onto the head of the Lady Liberty. Lexington more likely would catch himself and stop rolling where Nyxie wasn't the best at regaining control of herself. Unable to gain control Nyxie rolled a few more feet before Broadway glided down, catching her before she got to far to the edge."Are you two alright?"He wasn't sure how hard Nyxie hit into Lexington but he thought it might have hurt.

Brooklyn had thought he had one the race when he landed. Until he noticed Broadway saving Nyxie who had fell into Lexington which made the two tumble down on the head. Brooklyn couldn't help but feel that it was his fault for not watching over Nyxie. He could have prevented it and told her to be more careful yet the race got to him. Brooklyn walked over to Lexington to help him up considering Broawady was already helping Nyxie."You alright Lex? She sure got you good."Chuckled Brooklyn. He was trying to ease the tension hoping that Lexington wouldn't get to mad at Nyxie. Than again, they were all friendly toward her and knew she didn't mean to do it. It sure wasn't the first time something like this had happened.

Xanatos was a little taken aback to be called a sorcerer by this new gargoyle. Why would he think that? He hadn't seen Silwanin turn back from stone, as far as he knew. Well... sorcerer. He could get used to that. He smiled and held it as this new gargoyle talked to his previous statue, Silwanin. It was another language and Xanatos didn't like that. He wanted, no, needed to understand everything. If they were planning to overthrow one of his plans, he needed to know. He made a mental note of making an effort to discover and learn this new language.

Yakoné blushed again as this young gargoyle, had Owen called him Slade?, began to speak to her. She giggled when he called Xanatos a creepy old man. He really didn't seem that old, but creepy? Well, to have a castle above the clouds like this... that was kinda creepy. "He's not being too creepy, yet." she assured, smiling at him. He was so much different than any gargoyle she'd met before and he had piercings on his ears too, like her clan did. It wasn't something she saw often, but she liked it. Plus the combination of hair colors... Rawr, literally. She looked away, realizing she was staring, and continued to blush.

Lexington didn't see Nyxie coming and her landing on him was soft. The stone beneath him? Not so much. He braced himself and used his claws to keep from rolling. Once he was stopped, he took a few minutes before he tried to move. He was quite sore, especially one of his shoulders that had direct impact with the statue, but other than that, he was fine. He was glad that Broadway was paying attention, but still felt mildly irritated that he was taken out of the air like that. If it had been anyone but Nyxie, he would have been full blown mad. "Yeah, she sure did! What a way to try to win! Sneaky, there Nyxie." he said with a laugh, hoping to make her feel a little better by pretending that she had done it on purpose instead of actually messing up her landing. He knew that she was sensitive about it, and was hard on herself, but she was a 'new gargoyle'. She couldn't really expect to catch on immediately.

Nyxie smiled."Thank you Broadway, I'm fine."It took Nyxie a second to recall what happened, she let out a small gasp. She had hit the crown of the state knocking into Lexington. She felt so embarrassed. Before she started to panic Lexington called out to her saying she was sneaky. This made her feel more relaxed, and even giggle."You know me so well Lex."Her frown turned to a smile. The trio were so kind to her, even if she messed up pretty much all the time. She didn't understand how they could stay calm. When living as a human everyone would be angry and yell at her. She wondered if gargoyles were a bit more tolerable. Than again Goliath was strict and knew that she was to clumsy to go on patrol. Hudson would teach her the basic in the cloak tower and would practice close to home. All and all she was grateful to all of them.

Broadway patted Nyxie's shoulder."Lexington is right Nyxie, you are very sneaky. We will have to watch you more closely."Broadway let out a chuckle. He was playing along with Lexington to make sure Nyxie didn't feel to bad about knocking Lexington out of the air. Than again it was amusing a fair bit. Brooklyn let out a sigh in relief both of them seemed to be unharmed. As well as the others were trying to cheer Nyxie up. He couldn't help but smile. It made him happy that the others were easy on her, though if it was during patrol it might upset Goliath.

Slade smiled. Xanatos was creepy enough though it would easily grow on someone. Xanatos sure was a pain but was easy enough to deal with."He grows on you, though he will often surprise you with something knew."He had hoped Xanatos was't going to harm these knew gargoyles. Yet it seemed Xanatos was being nice enough to them that maybe he was trying to help. The gargoyle turned away from Slade. One of his ears lowered as the other perked up giving him a slightly confused face before it struck him. She had been staring at him. His ear's flattened down in embarrassment. Was she blushing because of him? did he look funny? was it his hair? or possible his cat like snout? All together she looked cute. Before getting carried away or Xanatos saw Slade like this he remembered he didn't properly introduce himself."Oh I'm Slade by the way."

Silwanin smiled and walked over to Marbas and asked, "Pelun nga ke terkup? Olo' nìwotx kerusey." She looked down, "Everyone is dead including my mother, father sister and the rest of the clan" she said hiding her face from view.

"oe fuke omum...i was bound before then" he said as he cleared the hair from her face with one hand and pushed up her chin with the other and looked into the deep yellow eyes that hid from him "I see you"

Silwanin looked at him, "but how you have to be from my clan you have all the features of those of my clan" she said in a strong accent, "Why did they bind you?" She looked at Marbas and smiled lightly, "I see you" she said.

"could be i have no memory of who i was and were im from...I was sealed for my abilities and fought the foreigners with magic they couldn't counter so they bound me in iron and then sealed me" he said his accent clear as moonlight as he spread his arms and wings and gestured towards his burns

"Maybe I am the last of my clan" she said and she buried her face into her hands and knelt down on her knees, "My clan was murdered why was I saved?" Silwanin looked away from the humans and other gargoyles hiding her face, "I shouldn't have been saved" she said.

Marbas leaned down and reached out and touched her shoulder and then pulled out a small weaved necklace from a pouch on his side..."i do have this though...i used to were it and had it when i woke up but it broke after i encountered a metal gargoyle" he said as he pulled her up and again looked in her eyes and smiled "i do occasionally get memories and i do know that im from a very interesting island with plants that glow at night"

Silwanin looked up at him taking the necklace and stood up, "This is made from the plants from the island" she said, "the plants did glow at night that was my home" She looked up at him, "Do you remember anything else about the island?"

"i remember a clan leader and his daughter who im to believe i was infatuated with but i can remember her face" he said as he looked down at the necklace "i also remember my fight with the druids and the pain from this sealing curse thay put on me but thats it"he said as he clawed at the burn on his chest

She smiled, "My father was leader of the clan and my name is Silwanin" she said looking at him then to the necklace feeling the different stitches and beads. "I remember this necklace I carved the beads" she said. Silwanin looked at them and then to the others a bit nervous, "well uh I'm glad you survived too." she told him.

"well you are very good at it...i hope you can fix it " he said as he took the hand that held the beads and closed it"id really appreciate it"he said as he again found himself looking in her eyes "i know your eyes but i dont know from were exactly" he said as he let go of her hand
