People are cruel.....  Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysDuo watched as his brother and Shawn vanished into the house and Duo's attention went back to the scenery around him. When Leon spoke to him he looked to him and thought for a moment. He could always come outside later to get to know what his new home was like on the outside, but he was extremely curious about what was inside a house. Having been a stray since birth he had no idea what a home would look like. Sure Vayne and him had thoughts about what it was like to live in a house with a warm loving family before the curse happened, but now his curiosity was even more peeked then when he was a stray. He looked to the house and pointed, then nodded to show he wanted to go in. A smile brightened his features, but when he looked to Leon he found himself shy. He oddly wondered why that was, but let it go for now. He was happy that now his brother and him could finally have a place to call home since they never truly had one before. He then started to wonder if they had a piano or violin some where. When they had been with the gang they actually had an old piano and violin at their boss's house.
He oddly wondered what happened to that man. Cause he was sure that the man wouldn't have let his gang do what they did to Vayne and them. The worst thought came into his head. What if they had killed their boss because they thought he was to soft for protecting the neko brothers. Duo felt horrid about it, but as always the neko kept his thoughts to himself and told no one but Vayne. Though right now Vayne was out cold so he couldn't exactly explain it to him at the moment. He looked to Leon again before grabbing his hand hesitantly and tugged on it gently. Showing he would like to go in now. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max blinked and just watched as the guards flinched back. He smirked, he still didn't know how it happened but his expression faded to a neutral one as he hid his pain behind the expression. Damn it to all hell did that hurt, but there was no way he was going to say it did. He looked at Kivuli as he heard his question. His tail twitched irritably, carried... he hated that idea," I can walk." He said, he was determined to get out of here without help. He pressed his leg down but visibly flinched back. That did hurt! He frowned but stood up as he forced all feelings of pain down and he looked at his "master." For some reason, though, it didn't feel like that but he had nodded to him," I may limp but I can walk on my own." He said, knowing that he hated being picked up he did not want to have to be carried but a strange man, no matter how much he knew about him," But can we stop somewhere to eat? I'm starving." He said to him and shifted his weight onto his unhurt leg. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Leon saw the boy was thinking about it and he smiled softly. When he saw him pointing he nodded," Inside it is then." he said and when he was about to go in he was momentarily distracted by a bird landing on a nearby tree, very pretty. He then felt Duo pull on his hand. He blinked and looked back," Huh? Oh, right. Lets go." He said and pulled him lightly into the house. As he opened the front door he saw Shawn nearly asleep on the couch and smiled. He was foolish. He looked back to Duo, his one eye blinked again as he felt warm air hit his face. He smiled slightly and held a hand out for Duo to see as he shut the door behind him," Do you want to share a room with your brother?" He asked, sure that the boy would say yes. * * *

My world is cold.....  Kivuli ShirotoshiXXXXXXBusiness OwnerKivuli noted that the neko was hurting, but if he wished to walk then he wouldn't stop him from doing so. He thought about the food thing and has a few places in mind. "What is it you like to eat?" He asked politely. He made a hand gesture towards the door wanting to make sure the guards didn't try and do anything. "I'm sure we could find something to your liking," He said as he looked to Max and no one else. At that moment his phone rang and he glanced down puzzled before he pulled it out to look at the caller ID. He sighed softly, "Excuse me a moment." He flipped open his phone and started to speak to the voice on the other end.
"Shirotoshi speaking," His face showed strain as the voice on the other end started to talk swiftly to Kivuli and he sighed softly, "Can you locate the problem in the-" The voice started to seem urgent, "Find the one responsible for the mess up and I'll have a talk with that person when I make it to the office. Right now I am unable to make it." The voice spoke again and Kivuli sighed, "I will be in today to deal with it, but it will back after lunch when I get there." With those final words he closed his phone and looked to Max. "I'm sorry about that, but we can leave now if you wish," He spoke softly.. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

People are cruel..... Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysDuo noted that Leon seemed a bit out of it, but he let it go for the time being. Upon coming up to the door Duo's eyes glanced around once it was opened. He saw Shawn on the couch and he wondered where Vayne was. He forced himself to start his search for his brother then to look around. His ears flicked to teh sound of Leon talking about sharing a room with his brother. He looked to Leon and nodded. But his attention soon resumed to wanting to look for his brother. Vayne and Duo were never separated for long, and at this moment it became clear to Duo had had to know where Vayne was to set his nerves at ease for a bit so he could look around at their new home. He didn't know how to let Leon know that he wanted to see his brother. So he let go of Leon's hand and started his search not really paying attention to anything around himself at the moment. He looked at the stairs and stared at them for a moment. His brother's scent was coming from up there and the stairs looked a bit intimidating to Duo considering he'd never been in a home before.
Duo looked at the stairs then up, then back at the stairs before he hesitantly started to climb the stairs. when he reached the top he seemed proud of himself and he smiled before turning to look down the stairs. If he could laugh he would have been heard, but all that could be seen was him smiling with what looked like he was laughing. He then turned to finish his search for his brother which he found in a room still asleep, but he had at some point rolled to his side, and curled up into a tight ball. Duo climbed up next to him to run his fingers through his brother's hair. He knew when his brother was having another one of his nightmares. Vayne acted tough, but deep under everything he put on he was a softy. A person whom was probably more sensitive then what he led people to believe. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max just looked up at him and his tail flicked slightly before he spoke up," I dunno. I usually ate meat or something before." He said and blinked when he heard the phone, at first his ears perked up then as the phone continued to ring he lowered them, that was rather loud, what the hell was it? He watched him open it and stopped where he was and his ears came up slowly... he listened in and as he kept silent. Well, for once in his life, he was being respectful... well if you could say that. He was also in pain and trying to cover it up so that could contribute to it. A mess? That certainly didn't sound good... he played with his tail and looked down to ignore the pulsing pain in his knee. He then heard him finish up and his eyes followed the phone before looking at the man holding it. His ears moved and he nodded," Okay." He said but it was obvious that the pain was growing although he'd never admit it. He walked with him, well, limped since he was being stubborn, and glanced over at Kivuli," Mess?" He asked simply as he kept going and his curiosity slipped through again. * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Leon smiled as the boy walked off. He knew that he'd want to share a room but decided he would ask. He watched the other male hesitantly climb up the stairs then laughed lightly when he made it up and waved softly. Glancing to his brother, who was still asleep, he tapped his head and walked up the stairs. Shawn didn't wake up, he only shifted and Leon went up to where Duo went and saw he laid next to Vayne. A soft smile formed and he spoke softly to Duo," Hey... I'll be downstairs, come get me if you need a tour." He said and smiled as he shut the door a bit more and went down to Shawn. He wrapped his arms around his brother's waist and shut his eyes as he rested his head on Shawn's chest and his brother put one arm around him, knowing who it was. * * *

Though he was sad because he'd made the male stand for so long on that injured leg of his. He opened the door to the shop for them to step out to the limo waiting for them when he heard the question of what had been discussed on his phone. He was amused noting how sensitive a feline's ears were to pick up on this conversation. "Well to tell the truth one of the interns in the office I work at messed with the ordering of appliances to other companies across the country and that is consider a major foul up because we have to retract the order re-due negotiations with said company not to mention filling and signing of the original screw up and possible firing of an employee, that caused the whole problem if the company we had made the compromises with wishes for the employee to be let go. I would rather not lose those whom work under me, but sometimes that can't be helped."
Kivuli looked genuinely disturbed by this and it was showing he had a kind side that was never shown often to much of anyone. He looked to his limo driver and the man stepped out of the car to open the door for the master and his guest "Anyways the first thing we need to do is get you something to eat and fixed up. Your fine with doctors right?" he had to ask cause a lot of people disliked hospitals and doctors all together either due to something in their past or something else unknown to them. "From there I will let you decide if you want to go to my home or join me at work," He said in the same polite tone. Giving Max the choice to do as he pleased. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

People are cruel..... Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysDuo's ears flicked slightly and he looke to the door. He nodded to what Leon said before he vanished from the room. It wasn't long before Duo fell asleep once Vayne had settled down. After a long time of napping Vayne woke, blinking blearily a few time before sitting up. His head spun a bit and his hand met his forehead with a little more force then he intended to use, making a smack sound. "Damn," He hissed. He was slightly light headed and it ached a bit, probably due to what ever drug the people had given him. He looked over to see Duo peacefully sleeping when he slid out of bed. Careful as to not wake his sleeping brother. He looked around the room before noting the door, and walked over to it. He was unsure how to open it, but he figured it out quickly. Having seen a similar door being used when they lived with the gang. Vayne was smart and caught on quick on how to do things without having to guess all the time and struggle to do things. He opened the door and walked out into the hall way using the wall for balance. He went to the stairs and looked down before groaning.
At this point Duo had woken up to note that Vayne was not anywhere near by in the room. He looked to the now opened door and got out of bed to look for him which hadn't taken long. He looked to his brother whom was holding his head and looking down the intimidating stair case. Duo walked over and touched his shoulder making Vayne jump a little more then Duo was expecting him to do. "Duo....." He sighed softly when he looked to his brother who was watching him wearily. "Sorry.....my nerves seem to be on end right now. My head also hurts like hell," He took one step down the stairs. his hand pressed firmly against the railing as he made a slow effort down the stairs. He knew eventually he and his brother would get used to this. Having been strays and ally cats most of their lives. They had to get used to a lot of things quickly and this was no different to him and Duo. Once at the bottom Vayne coaxed his brother down and eventually Duo made it down stairs as well. Duo looked to where the other two were before he left Vayne's side.
Vayne was leaned up against the wall. Hand to his head and watching his brother from where he was. making sure nothing happened to him. He was unsure of how long he'd been out, but he was sure nothing had happened to Duo when he was momentarily out of it. Though he wanted to keep being distant and sure before he relaxed. Duo walked over and found the two asleep. Blinking a bit he crouched down before poking Shawn slightly on the shoulder. He tilted his head slightly as he waited, and watched Leon whom was cuddled up close to Shawn like he did with Vayne most of the time back at the shop. He knew eventually he'd become more confident to go a little further from his brother the longer they stayed there, and he knew his brother would do the same. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Max listened to him contently but when the other said that people worked under him he raised one ear, as a way of like say... raising a eye brow. He nodded though," Confusing things then..." He said and his tail swished again as he noticed the look the man had. His brow furrowed and his thoughts ran, then the other man came. He took a quick step back, causing his knee to hurt since he placed all weight on that foot. He was wary of everyone and this just showed how much pain he was in even if he didn't want it to. His face had twisted in pain for a moment before he stepped onto his other foot again and the look vanished, he still didn't make any sound of pain or anything but now that he had pressed on it the look on his face was one of extreme pain but he never said one thing about it. He then heard Kivuli and noted that he trusted the man so he'd give it a shot... well enough so that he wouldn't get hurt. He heard the question and made a face, he never went to a doctor," I don't know. Never been there." He said and then he nodded. He'd have to see what he wanted to do once he ate... * * * I swear to you all, I will break out of here when the time is right.

* * * Leon had fallen asleep on his brother and pretty soon he was out cold, as he slept he whined slightly, a nightmare botheing him. As the boys came down he shifted again and fell down off the couch. He hit his head on the table woke up," Owwww." He groaned and rubbed his head lightly. Shawn felt the lack of weight than a poke on the shoulder his eyes opened. He saw Duo in front of him and his brother on the ground, lacking his eye patch for some reason," What'd you do Leon? Are you okay?" He asked sitting up and rubbing Duo's head lightly," Is your brother awake now? How is he?" He asked and looked back, seeing Vayne leaning on the wall," I'm fine... my head just hurts from hitting it off the table." He muttered. His eye had the patch off of it and the patch had gone missing. He stood up and it took a moment to get better as he lowered his hand and his left eye was fully visible, a long cut going down it and it seemed that that's what made him blind. Shawn stood and patted his brothers head then looked at Vayne," Are you okay now Vayne? It seems it was a pretty powerful drug that they gave you, trust me, that won't happen again. It's sick to do that to someone." He said as Leon blinked for a moment, only his right eye moving. * * *

My world is cold..... Kivuli ShirotoshiXXXXXXBusiness OwnerKivuli nodded, "Even confusing things have to be dealt with." He sighed running his fingers through his blond hair. He blinked however when the neko seemed to jump at the presence of his limo driver. "It's alright Max. This is Alexander, he is my limo driver. I would have chosen to drive myself today, but seeing as today was a special day I thought it best to have him drive me today," It was true. Kivuli loved driving himself around and he still payed Alexander whether he drove him tor not. Always keeping Alexander's wallet full so he could feed his family of six. Today was special to Kivuli for he had wanted a companion to stay at his house with him as long as that person desired too. He wouldn't be alone for a while and that was an upside to his already lonely life. He looked to Max when he grimaced and he could tell it had coasted him a lot to move the way he had. Max adjusted his stature and Kivuli felt a strange feeling he'd never felt before. Like his heart was being squeezed just to see Max in pain made him feel like....like he was in pain as well.
Shrugging off the odd feeling thinking it was strange to feel like that at first he gestured to the door to the car. "Well then we'll have to try then. Besides, I am not the one who should look at your injury for I am not certified in medical to give you treatment for your injury. A doctor can help you with your pain and patch it up. Possibly even put you on bed rest so as to keep you off your injured leg as well. Anyways, I know of a place that has a rather good selection of meat you might enjoy," Kivuli thought for a moment as he thought about how this will all play out. Considering he wasn't used to taking care of another before. Having been alone for most of his life he really had never once thought of how it would be like to live with another up till about several days ago when this whole strange event started to happen. He'd wanted to help them and not control them like they were beasts that needed controlling. Now he'd taken the first step, but it was all up to Max on how things would go from now on. He looked to Alexander, "Alex We'll be going to the hospital to see a doctor and then we'll be going to Camial Le' Restaurant."
"Under stood sir, I will make note of it," He smiled kindly. Alexander was a father of fix and a single parent. His wife having died in a car accident shortly after their last child's birth. He had a girlfriend that worked at the same restaurant they were going to go too. Alex was a kind hearted man and never raised a hand to anyone. If anything his bark was worse then his bite in no uncertain terms. ......It must be destiny to be alone.

People are cruel..... Vayne & DuoXXXXXXStraysDuo looked to Leon when he started to fidget and whine. He had poked Shawn a couple of times and jumped slightly when he heard Leon fall. His eye going wide looked at Leon before abandoning his efforts to wake Shawn, which he'd actually succeeded in doing. He went over to Leon silently touching his shoulder hesitantly. He looked at him with concern filled silver eyes. His white hair spilling over his shoulders as one hand supported his weight while he crouched down before he stood in front of him. He tilted his head to the side, when he noticed that Leon didn't have his eye part on. He hesitantly reached out and his hand paused in mid air before slowly continuing. His finger slightly brushing across the scare there. Duo's eyes were soft with care, before he pulled his hand away. His ears were pricked back and his tail was swaying slowly behind him before it fell to the floor and decided to flip up then down again. Duo chose to ignore Shawn's word due to the fact that he like to hear Leon more. Something about Leon made Duo like him a lot.
Vayne was only semi-aware that Leon and Shawn were awake his head spun and pounded like crazy making him light headed. He looked up and his eyes narrowed when he heard Shawn speaking to him. He glanced over to Duo whom seeming seem preoccupied with Leon at the moment. He looked back to Shawn and he shook his head. "No I'm not fine. I feel like my nerves are shot and my head is swimming so much it's hard to think straight," He sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall, "Sure....what ever you say. Whether it's sick or not means nothing to the one who's doing such things." He cringed slightly as one particular headache made itself known. "Man......I hate these kinds of drugs. They always have terrible side affects with people like me," Upon those words one would assume that this sort of thing had happened to him before. The question was whom had done it and where had it taken place. Only Duo knew those questions along with Vayne. Having had similar things happen in the gang that had found them as well as at the shop. ........They care for nothing, but themselves.

* * * Leon rubbed his head again as he noticed Duo's concern. He forced a smile despite his raging headache from banging his head into the table. He felt the other boy's finger on his scar and he bit his lip to keep from flinching as he realized his eye patch had fallen off. WHen he relaxed upon the boy's hand moving away he looked at him and smiled shyly," I'm alright... just a head wound." He said and laughed under his breath, usually that would be bad but he was used to it," It's actually been many years since someone has seen my eye this way, it happened when I was very little and ever since then I couldn't see. But don't worry, it doesn't hurt me anymore... it's just a pain since I can't see well." He said and set his hand on Duo's head. He lowered his other hand as he blinked again, the dizzyness going away. For once he didn't care that someone else saw... not even Vayne seeing would have bothered him. Now, a stranger on the other hand, that would bug him. For some reason though, these two boys didn't seem like strangers already.
Shawn nodded to Vayne, then narrowed his own eyes. He hadn't noticed that the other had narrowed his eyes upon being spoke to and he frowned. 'they always..?' did that mean it happened before? He sighed then, it was to be expected and considering what the boy had been through it may take a while to get through his shell or whatnot, Duo, not so much, since he already warmed up nicely to his little brother. Shawn then looked at Vayne," If you have a pounding headache come over and sit. It's not good to stand up when you're dizzy, trust me." He said and walked around the couch," Need help?" He then asked the boy, he knew he'd probably say no but he'd offer, it was the nicest thing he could do since the boy didn't seem to trust him or his brother just yet. * * *
