Hibiki Yasuno
Your Melody Plays
---------------------------

The events in the bar began to worry Hibiki even more so than before. He continued to rub the side of his face as it began to turn a nasty purple color, and then backed away from the fight. It was obvious he was getting nowhere with that. Things continued to progress, and Hibiki ended up overhearing the names of the fighting men. Lucien was the pale one, and Cassius was the horned one. Atleast he now knew what to call them. The other mans words reached him, but Hibiki felt that letting a fight progress like that, rather than try and make peace was just wrong. Hibiki sighed, as continued to watch, trying to develop something to end the fighting. Things only got weirder, though. Somehow, the other man managed to completely stop the drunks from fighting, or really doing anything, for that matter. All except the two who would locked in a clash of swords were on the ground, enjoying some sort of... Well, ecstacy. This man had somehow brought all the drunks to joy in less than a few seconds, awhile a minute of Hibiki's flute playing calmed down not even all the drunks. How irritating.

Hibiki sighed, somewhat annoyed with the situation. His poor face had been hit twice so far, once by a bar stool, and once by a drunken man's hand, and now there was a fight that he was supposed to just sit there and watch. If only Hibiki had not been so intrigued by the crowd pooring into the tavern. He could have avoided this conflict entirely, and went on with his merry old day. He could have prepared for his concert, practiced a few tunes, and compose a symphony, or something. It would have been better than his current predicament. Hibiki sighed, as he realized he was being spoken to. It was about the flute. "Oh, thank you." He replied. "I learned the flute from my father. Chanson Yasuno actually taught me how to play almost every instrument, though my favorite are flute, snare drum, and trumpet." Hibiki sighed. " I have a concert to play in a few days, and I do hope that none of my instruments get damaged from this ordeal. Especially this flute or this drum."

{{OoC: Hibiki is to much of a pacifist to choke a betch. He could just put a betch to sleep, draw a face on, and then walk away. He is sorta playful when his situation is good.}}

The wind howled softly in the streets of Caldwell. Flecks of flawless white fell from a sky of gray, collectively forming a blanket of white upon the ground. The air was crisp and clean, though it could chill one right to their bones. The music of the taverns traveled for what felt like miles upon such an air, along with the yells of drunks and the scents of fresh food.

In the wind, her midnight black hair flowed behind her as if a banner. Her bangs tickled across her cheeks, flowing across her upper face. Joining her hair in the wind, flapped the long sleeves and hem of her vibrant red kimono, as well as the ends of her brighter pink Obi sash across her upper waist, its ends reaching her ankles. Her eyes, a gentle red, were framed by the reddened eyelids she was born with, a marking of her blood line. Though some swore it was makeup, it truly was a ... birth mark of sorts. Her skin was fair and pale, as if the woman had never seen hardship or combat. But the large, ornate Katana tied across her back waist with thin ropes of red insinuated something entirely different. The woman’s appearance was quite a conundrum, as she walked through the snow with white socks wooden sandals, raising a small degree off the ground with two small planks below her heel and the balls of her foot, making soft wooden clanks as she walked.

The sword, haunted by the spirit of a demon of ice, was silent, though it felt relaxed in its aura, as if the snowy lands had appeased it. The cold sensation the blade gave off stopped, because he was no longer struggling for freedom and slaughter, but rather resting. Perhaps this place was good for Silferious.. The dragon soul within the jade pendant, hidden in the folds if her kimono, had been silent as well. The two spirits had nothing to say, no where to guide her in such a land. She was merely stopping in the city for a quick rest, perhaps she could find a quick job before returning to the Western lands. Her eyes turned to look at a bar, upon hearing the sounds of yelling and shattering objects.

The door swung open, smashing violently against the side of the building. The scene inside came to her red eyes, a large barfight. However, a sweet melody chimed against the air, the sounds of a soft flute. It came over her quite suddenly. Despite the fact that she was mere yards away from a large scene of fighting, drunken men, she was being calmed, soothed, just by the sounds coming from the flute inside. Her eyes widened softly when she came to the realization that it wasn’t just her. Some of the men inside had stopped, calmed by the sounds as well.

The sword’s emotion grew slightly, it’s temperature growing colder against her back again. He wanted to fight, or he felt like he was going to have to. She shivered weakly from it and the snowy weather, stepping closer to the bar, as if entranced by the music. When it stopped, she frowned, peering inside. Hibiki and Orpheus were conversing calmly in the corner, whilst some others fought. the rest of the bar's residence seemed to be upon the ground, or making some faces in sheer, but random pleasure. She cocked a brow at this, wondering thankfully why that effect hadn't come over her her.. The sight of a horned man and a paler man fighting caught her eye in particular.

Nervously, the woman stepped inside, her hand resting against the leather wrappings of the handle. Her eyes fluttering from the calm men to the fighters, she cleared her voice softly, as if she’d not spoken in some time. Her voice was calm, and smooth. “Your music was beautiful, Sir. I’d heard it from the streets outside, and despite the scene in here..” She paused, letting her eyes drift to the fighters again, before falling upon Hibiki once more. “I really felt as if you should be complimented on your talents.” She smiled warmly, hoping it would not bother him.

The fight seemed to continue. Hibiki didn't see any signs of it stopping. Although the poeple on the floor continued their weird happy fit, it wasn't enough to take away from the fact that there was a fight in the room, and Hibiki wasn't allowed to do anything about it. He rubbed the side of his face again. There was no doubt that it was bruising up. He might have contemplated playing a healing song of some sort were it not for the fact that he would surely get hurt if he tried to play anything. Not to mention the fact that his flute could get damaged. What a predicament Hibiki was in. He didn't want to let the fighting continue, but he had no choice. He was doomed to let it go on until the fight came to an end. What kind of end would it result in, though? Hibiki didn't want anyone to die because he couldn't help them. He didn't want to feel partly responsible for a death. This clearly couldn't continue. Hibiki would have tpo find a way to stop it before it was too late. How would he do that, and how would he do it in a manner that would prevent and damage to him or anyone else, and also in a way that was subtle, and unnoticable? That was something Hibiki needed to figure out, and quickly.

Hibiki didn't notice the doors open earlier, but what he did notice was a woman walking inot the bar. Another one who looked like they didn't really belong in the bar. Hibiki sighed. Was the fighting to continue, or worsen, now that there was another soul in the bar? Hibiki wasn't sure. The entire ordeal in the bar made Hibiki feel uncomfortable, and it made him not really himself. He wanted to be out, playing music, telling jokes, being foolish, and other amusing things, rather than watching such a petty fight occur. Hibiki took notice of the woman approach, and compliment him. Hibiki smiled slightly. "Thank you very much. I enjoy playing music, and I try my best to make sure that my music reaches people in a way it never has before. I've been working towards that goal all my life." The musician sighed again, taking a quick glance to the fight. "This needs to stop." He muttered, refering to the dispute.

The sword across her lower back was still growing colder by the second. The demon was silent, but its aura told her all she needed to know. He was irritated by the sight of the fighters within the bar, as if he felt like he would need to defend her. Or perhaps it was just his demonic blood's urge to fight, and the sight brought the urge back to his mind. She frowned, readjusting it on her back idly, as if the temperature of the object was getting too strong for her.

Hibiki smiled slightly, it was comforting that she did not bother him. "It did reach me in a manner most musicians have not," she commented, pulling her hand away from the blade. It was not a wise idea to keep ones hand upon a weapon in a bar like this, it could be interpreted wrong. "I felt soothed by the mere sound of it. It was really a beautiful melody. It would seem that your goal might just have been met."

She blinked, peering at the man Hibiki was talking to. Then, it hit her suddenly. "Oh! I'm sorry if I interrupted anything!' She said quickly, her eyes dancing between the sight of Hibiki and Orpheus, as it seemed they had been talking before she interrupted.

Hibiki smiled. "Interupting? No, of course not. We weren't really talking that much, and it wasn't of any importance." Hibiki gave a weak laugh. He couldn't truly be happy while near violence. "Is there no peaceful way those two can resolve this? Must they fight?" Hibiki shook his head, and stood up. "I can't stay here. It may be horrible that I leave this bar in such a violent state, but I just can't handle the fighting." Hibiki sighed, and began to walk away.

As he stepped, he brought up his flute, and began to play a sad song. A song of grief and annoyance. It had no magical quality. It was just a song that he played. He lowered the flute, and began to sing.

"One cold winter's day, in the snow and the ice
A heart took a dreadful chill
A soul that once danced, and soul that was nice
It now has the heart to kill

Why does fighting happen, it won't satisfy
when blood is all over your hands
The frost left from the icy tears that you cry
will haunt you through all the lands

The clashing of swords, the crossing of blades
I warn all the practice this act
You'll be dealing with pain from the queen of spades
this isn't a threat, it's a fact"

Hibiki stepped out of the bar with those last words. His song was finished, and he hoped his messgae got across.

Orpheus Paused himself after Hibiki spoke. He noticed a woman coming into the tavern only to make her way over to Hibiki. But the main thing he was thinking about, aside from how cute the girl was, is how His flute actually seemed to calm him down. Being one of emotions, it was surprising to him, and rare. He felt urged to get to know this man even more now. He seemed like a good fellow. The girl then blinked at him and he gave a small smirk knowing what was on her mind. She must of been a little embarrassed if she thought she was interrupting. But soon after Hibiki replied to her telling her otherwise he sang and left. The man had a wonderful voice and was great at playing the flute. "Hmm." He said as Hibiki left. Looking back over to the girl he just smiled." His goal? If your talking about all these men laying in ecstasy, that was my doing. I was making sure none of them got in the middle of the two's fight....Honestly, I didn't want any of them to get killed. The fight is between them two and should be taken somewhere elsewhere." He told her. "His flute though was amazing I must say. Speaking of which can you excuse me, follow if you would like." he said quickly making his way over everyone to the door. When he opened the door, Orpheus looked around till he saw Hibiki's walking body. "Hold up a minute." He said jogging over to him. " No importance huh, that kinda hurts." he said with a friendly laugh. "Anyway, You left before I could ask, where is it your playing at? I would very much so like to see it." he told him. " It interests me how you just playing the flute can calm people.....Even me. Thats not something I come across every day you know." he said looking ahead as he walked.

A voice cause Hibiki to stop. It was the man who had cause everyone to be happy. "I didn't mean any offence when I said not of any importance." Hibiki smiled. "As to where I'm playing? Well, there's a small place closer to the inner section of the city. It's an old concert hall, but it works, since professional perfromers do shows there. There's plays there alot. I believe it's called 'La Maison de Glace.'" Hibiki's smiled became wider for just a moment. "I'd love to see you there. Better than all the blank faces of people I've never met. Though playing a concert at all is exciting, playing for people you know is inexcplicable." Hibiki laughed, but soon stopped, exchanging the smiled for a frown. "Why must they fight in there." He suddenly asked. "I mean, all you get from puching someone is bruised knuckles." Hibiki sighed, and looked at the tavern. "I shouldn't leave them to fight in there, but there's nothing I can do to stop the conflict. I don't like fighting. It's so uncomfortable to be around violence" Hibiki shook his head, and turned to conyinue walking.

The musician vocalised as he walked down the icy street. people wlked by, and clapped for him, though his tune was not cheery. Hibiki needed to get away from the negativity. He needed his cheer, his fun, and his play. He needed to be in a situation that was amusing and enjoyable. Hibiki sighed. "One day, everything will be peaceful, and people won't need to fight any more. People won't need to steal, or kill. People won't need to lie, or feel sad. Everyone will be happy, and able to be themselves." Hibiki looked to the sky. "Please let this day some soon." He asked the fluffy clouds.

Her soft leather boots of black hide met with the cobblestone of the city of Caldwell. The gates were vacantly open, welcoming anyone to the city of Frost, and of the assassin's guild. The weather had been calm, snow slowly, gracefully fluttering from the smeared gray sky overhead, spotting the freshly cleared paths of stone. However, as soon as she stepped in, the winds began to howl with intensity, her braided hair flowing chaotically within it's violent grasp. The tips of these braids reached her rear, matching the bleached color of the falling snow. It was not long until the snow began to fall harder, thicker..

The aura about his woman was unnatural, driving some to nervously side step away from her, others actually fled into the nearby taverns and side shops. Nothing could be seen of her face, minus her chin, and her lower lip. Curling beside either chin, as if to frame her face, was shorter strands of hair that did not make it into the braid, reaching the edge of her chin in length. Her entire body was adorned with armor of hides, a deep gray-- nearing a black hue. Wolf fur lined the top of her boots that rose to her upper shin, below her knees, and the tops of her high rising gloves, easily covering the lower half of her arms. The hood that the skull sat atop, was also made of the gray-tipped fur, that ruffled within the chaotic breezes that tore across the city as if to ravage it into nothing. Across her lithe back, sat a large scythe, it's handle made with aged bone, creating the image of a wing over the jagged scythe's edge, and the maw of a growling beast at the top of it.

Her footsteps with silent, poised. It was as if the creature had gained a lot of prowess over her years. She headed down the busy streets, seemingly determined to get to a certain place-- she did not wander, her head did not turn to see what the shopkeeprs yelled about, nor did she react even slightly as one man bumped into her shoulder roughly. It was as if, the woman was an undead, walking toward the source of fresh meat and blood upon the tip of her nose.. And perhaps, that was what she was... There was work to be had here-- bounty hunters and assassins were abound in the taverns located within the Western section of Caldwell's sprawling complex. And where there was a bounty, there was someone to kill-- and to be paid for the act, as well, something that interested the woman only slightly.

She finally stopped, turning fluidly to gaze upon a single oak door to a particularly large tavern. The scents of alcohol singed her nose, as well as the scent of sweat, created when a large mass of people were in one area. She grinned again, her ivories baring from it if one was perceptive, an ill omen indeed. A gloved hand reached, and pulled the door open, before she ducked her head to avoid hitting the doorway with her towering antlers, and stepped into the bar..

Alister

Alister sat in a bar Caldwell minding his own business, well so it seemed. He was here for a bounty deal, if there was a bounty then there was money involved. Sure he could just steal what he needed he was quick enough. Within a blink of an eye he could be on the other side of the room but to the naked eye he was just a mere blur. Something easily missed by an untrained eye. But he had made it a rule that he would work for what he got. And dirty work not only showed a bit of entertainment for a little while. Although if it was to dirty, he wouldn't take it. If it dealt with taking any kind of innocent life, or he found out it did during a job, he would go back and usually scare or even kill the people who hired for the job. In a way, it was his way of redemption or so he thinks.

Alister listened on, paying attention to any chit chat that may have been going around as he sipped on his drink. Alot of the people in here were scum bags. The sooner he'd get a job the sooner he could leave this garbage bar. So here he waited for the right opportunity, the right contractor to come in or find him. He sat there calm, cool, and collected it seemed. He got a few looks from a couple men and heard the whispers among them. A few saying whats a wimp like him doing here and stuff of the sorts, but he just ignored it. It wasn't really worth getting into a fight with all these people, they would be hurt by the end of it anyway, and he didn't want that much attention on his back right now.

Alister was debating on leaving because nothing interesting was coming up in anyones conversation and no one came up to him. He soon would most likely go up to someone himself if this kept up, but he disliked doing so. Just as he was about to leave to find himself somewhere else to be the door swung open and a woman stepped in, ducking her head as she walked thought he door. THe skull and antlers on her head were odd, or so Alister thought. Not many people have a need or want to wear such a thing.

Cha'Risa stepped into the bar. Her eyes, hidden from sight, could see from the holes within the elk's skull-- the empty, vacant eye sockets as well as the nostrils. her senses also made it easy for her to navigate and understand her surroundings. She let the thick oak door shut loudly behind her, lacking the decency to let it shut softly. She could feel the eyes of the bar upon her. Maybe of these people did not cause her hunger to surface-- they were not powerful creatures, merely common fighters swinging common swords.

Yet, in the back, someone else piqued her predatory curiosity. He was not like the rest-- his frame was not built with muscle, nor was it lacking definition entirely. But it was not his looks, that brought the Wendigo child's skull-clad head to turn to look upon him directly. It was something about his aura, something about his scent.. It was different than what she'd tasted before, and it was something she almost wanted to.

Yet, she had business to do, not a meal to scavenge--that was easy to do in a place like this, anyway.. The woman calmly, fluidly walked forward to a table, near Alister's. Though it was not don deliberately, there was a benefit to be felt from this. She could watch him, and through her vacant eyes, Byaelbog could look, if he so desired. She could not hear his thoughts-- he was not one of thoughts to begin with. She could feel him, but he was high in the clouds, observing the growth of Caldwell as his daughter contracted a job of murder and of food.

A bar maid made her way to Cha'Risa, her eyes filled with nervousness, and as the skulled head turned to face her, she stepped back once, as if about to run immediately. Cha'Risa listened to her gulp hard, before asking what drink she would like, and if food was also desired with it. The woman's voice was soft, more of a hiss than anything else. So much so, the woman had to lean tentatively closer, hesitation and perhaps fear sparking her blue eyes. "Water. I have brought food for myself.." Her voice was almost what one would imagine an undead's would be- faint and hoarse, ragged and whispery.. It was unnatural in the very least. The woman nodded, and scurried away swiftly, driven perhaps by both fear, and the business of the bar.

Something had driven, however, a sudden escalation amongst the men. And it had occurred only just after the Wendigo had arrived. Her aura, inherited from Byaelbog, had already begun to set into the weaker minds. Madness overtook some, causing tempers to flare, and yelling to erupt. It would not be long, Cha'risa imagined, before a brawl broke out.

Alister

Alister's eyes met the womans who just walked in. Although, he couldn't really see here eyes through the skulls darkness's. Although everyone around her seemed to be in some kind of fright, he was not. She had soon walked past him and sat close to him. At first Alister didn't notice everyone's reaction's to her. He was just fixated on her. She was very different, her aura was off. Something about this woman did not seem right. It seemed dangerous to say the least. But this did not really ward off him as easy as it did the rest of the people in the bar. The then felt the aura, it seemed to be trying to influence his mind into madness. Thats when he looked around and noticed everyone else. Alister cocked an eye brow at everyone as they started to lash out in spontaneous outbursts. He pushed the effects of her aura out of his head, staying calm and in control. "Weak." He muttered as the people around them began to loose control more and more.

Alister looked away from both the girl and the rest of the people and back to the drink infront of him. Taking another drink as he continued on listening, but this time it was different. He wasn't listening to the men's chit chat but anger bursts. It was getting closer to him. He also continued to push the madness out of his head, not letting the aura get to him. The only thing he knew about this woman so far was that her aura seemed to cause madness and anger in people. Her whole being seemed kinda dark, but there was something else on her, but it didn't seem like it was from her. This baffled him, he had no idea what this girl was or what it is he sensed was coming off her. Her Aura didn't seem completely hers. Something Darker seemed to be hidden behind her, but what.

Taking another sip from his mug, he pondered on. This girl did not seem right, and knew she had something to do with the ongoing uproar of the bar crowd. But he just pushed it off, he came for a job nothing more, nothing less. So he wasn't going get himself talking to her unless need be. Compared to the brutes, he did look quite weak but he was very toned to say the least. "Oh and here they come." He muttered. Right then two of the men that were talking bad about Alister, saying why is a wimp like him in here, began to make they're way toward him. Muttering out words, lets make him suffer and get the b*****d out of here, he doesn't belong. Madness truly taking them as they're eyes became less human in a way. The bigger of the two men lifted his arm to his opposing side then struck at Alister. But it seemed to go right through him. Closer look, his body actually blurred for a moment, as if he moved. But it was to quick for the human eyes to notice, so it looked as if he just phased through the mans attack. The attacking brute gave a confused look as he spoke. " Huh, what kind of trick is that. " he said striking again, but this time the opposite way he struck the first time. Yet again, Alister's body seemed to phase through it. That's when he turned to the Skull headed woman. "Do you have this effect on everyone?" He said giving a cocked eye. The man did not like being ignored and shouted out at Alister. " Hey...don't ignore me when trying to kick your a**." He said in a bit of a slur. Alister let out a sigh and dropped his arm, dangling it. One of his gloves started so singe, but not the whole glove. Infact it was a certain patter, one that looked as if a chain link. It started to go up his glove and started to wrap around his wrist. It continued to make a burnt imprint until the chain imprint became solid, wrapped around his wrists a couple times. It then dropped down to the ground but there was no sound, instead, It looked as if it went into the ground itself. "One warning, set your mind at ease and walk away." Alister told the brute but he just laughed. "And if I don't whats a shrimp like you going to do." The man said bringing back his fist to hit at Alister again. That is when Alister jerked up his arm with the chain, ripping it out of the ground. It seemed to continually break through the ground as if the ground kept closing only to be ripped open again by the chain. But when he ripped the chain out, all that came from it was more chain and it continued to come out until a couple feet of chain was above Alister's head. He then twisted his wrist a little manipulating the chain. It started to flow as he moved his wrist. The chain made it's way like ribbon in the air, but it wrapped around the man's arm then around his neck and other arm. As it did this, the chain embedded in the ground ripped though it, making it's way behind the brute of a man until it stopped. The pathway of the chain on the other hand did not stay. A the chain broke the ground up as it moved forward, the path it made in it's wake seemed to just close up and return to normal. So when the chain stopped, it was once again embedded in a perfectly solid substance. That is when Alister grabbed ahold the chain and pulled on it, tightening it on the man, making it impossible to move. Alister didn't speak, he just shook his head. He then yanked on the chain , this cause the man to be forced to the ground with quite a bit of power. The man's body cracked a bit as he was put down on the ground by the chains.

Cha'Risa could pick up his muttering to himself, as his brow cocked in the direction other drunkards in the bar. He seemed to pick up her aura's effects upon them, but be above it herself. Her head faced forward, stiffly, as if she had turned into a satutue. Her posture was stiff as well, her back fully straightened, leaned forward slightly to rest her arms upon the table-- to resist the bone scythe from touching the back of the chair, her feet level upon the floor. She placed too much value in the scythe to allow the wood to rub against the aged bone of the fallen Wendigo--Kin of her lordship, Byaelbog..

Her eyes preyed upon their brawl, picking out whom would be more fun to face, versus those whom would be a blink to finish. A small smile curled upon her nefarious lips. She, however, felt the burning gaze of Alister come on and off of her. She would resist turning her head, letting the skull face her afflicted members of the bar. However, her eyes shifted once within her head, hidden away from sight by the ivory of the skull, and she looked upon him. Despite the drink he had before him, he was relatively sober--both from the ale, and from her aura's sideffects.

No one would approach Cha'Risa during this outburst, besides the Bar maid. She rushed in, the dress twirling around her small legs, as she ropped the water glass onto the flat surface of the wooden table, before rushing away, to avoid the fight overhead, but also to avoid any chance of losing her job here, and that included the chance of leaving a customer without an ordered drink..Her Aura would instill madness into others, but fear in them when it came to her. Perhaps in their lessened sanity, they would gain perception-- they would smell the death upon hr bodice, or they would see her soulless eyes.. Or perhaps, they could see the Aura of the demi-god of Cannibalism, psychosis and nightmares coming from her.

Suddenly, her attention was brought back to a sarcastic comment from Alister as he engaged in a fight. Her head turned very slightly, not enough to even face him directly, but enough to allow her easier sight of him. She grasped the cup and drew it closer to her lips, and did not reply. he had a fight, why should she interrupt it? She watched him intently, a predatory gaze, as he drew a chain from the ground, up out of the flooring. He eyes narrowed upon it-- over the years, Cha'risa had grown to really hate enchanted chains. Yet she new this was not the same as the Captors had wielded against Byaelbog, and she would watch it wrap around the brute as Alister wielded it, and cracking the man's bodice into the floor.

She merely clapped twice for him, after drinking all of the water within the cup. Her head was still not fully facing him. Who knew is she applauded for just him, or if she was applauding the scene as it worsened, chairs breaking over the walls and others' heads, feral screams ripping from throats that had otherwise seen only ale. the scent of blood invigorated her,y et it did not cause a rise out of her. Finally, since his fight was over, she would speak.

"Yes." Her voice, as it was louder than before, was less of a gurgling hiss, more of a.. human sound, with the rasped undertone of undeath. Her voice bore an odd, intoxicating accent, as if the accent of the feral wilderness. As she spoke, the entire bar grew cold. The fight suddenly ceased, all of the men moving away from her..

Alister

The man bound in chains struggled a bit but it came to no avail. Alister shifted his arm then lifted swiftly, bringing the chain with him. This in terms brought the man with the chain. The brute started to twirl in the air as the chain unraveled around him then sent him flying through the air as he spun out of control till he hit a table. Alister let out a sigh as the other man's anger began to show as he said obscenities. Though, that is not what caught his attention, it was the one word that came out of the woman that got his attention. He had heard her spoke earlier and she sounded so.....dead. But the word that just came out was much more alive and human than before. "You really have a way with people then, you know." He said to the girl in a slightly monotone voice, but a hint of amusement could be caught from his words.. Although he could push the effects of her aura away, it was a constant thing. He had to keep his mind in check otherwise he may fall under the madness as well.

After the man was tossed the chain slowly got shorter and shorter as it seemed to be pulled into the ground until it was only about a foot as Alister's hand dangled again. It slowly faded away until it was gone. The smaller the two men who came up on Alister started pacing toward him. "You b*****d, your going to pay for that." He said, but Alister just took another drink of his mug and set it down. " I wonder if your stupidity is natural or because of the aura? I can't tell you seemed just as idiotic before she came in." He mocked the man. This made him a bit more angry, causing him to lift up both hands clenching them together to bring them down on Alister. When it seemed like the mans attack was to hit, Alister's body disappeared to the human and his attack hit the table spilling the drink on it. But no sooner, Alister was to the left of the guy. His movements from the chair to his side was almost instant to the man's eyes, but that was because he was just a human, and a drunk one at that.

"I think, You owe me a drink." He may have been less built than the man but he was just as tall. Alister grabbed the back of the man's head and forced it down Slamming his face into the mug, braking it with the man's face. He then kicked his feet from under him and pushing his head to the side until he was horizontal to the ground. Quickly Alister put his hand on the man's chest pushing him to the ground and crouching as the man fell, basically falling with the man so the impact would do more damage as he forced him to the ground. He slowly stood up, stepped over the man and sat back down, sighing as he looked at his spilled drink.

Cha'Risa continued to observe the fight between the man and Alister, though it was fairly one-sided. Despite the appearances of the two men, she'd already known Alister was to win any fight she caused within the bar. His aura gave off magical power, not common physical muscle. It seemed like the mindset within this bar, was that muscle was the determining factor, as the larger figures picked upon the smaller figures. Like it was within the snowy wilds that surrounded Caldwell.. They were returning to their beastial roots..

her eye shifted to watch the chained man flung into a table, and watched the wooden structure collapse into splinters with a loud cracking sound that met her ears. He seemed to have heard her over the sounds, and looked to her, speaking in an amused, almost bored sounding tone. It was monotone, lacking character. Yet that would tell the Wendigo-child that he was bored, or tired-as he was not quite dead like she, or her Father..

She did not smile at it, she did not express anything toward the remark. she merely left her head turned at a small angle toward him, her soulless eyes of glowing yellow persistent upon his figure from the corners of her skull. Yet, she reached a gloved hand for the water, and tipped it to her mouth, to gain a few chips of ice cubes, chewing them audibly. The chain was shrinking, but it was still visible. Her eyes harrowed upon it viciously, watching it dissipate. Two others came to him, and the commotion seemed to grow closer to Cha'Risa's table. Instead of moving, her body remained vigilant and still within her chair.

He spoke to the man about her aura, and the skull turned to look at him for once, finally. She watched him phase through the barrage, slamming the man's face into the mug, cracking the porcelain loudly. The other men were beginning to leave, her aura changing from madness, to one that would force fear into others' hearts. They would retain themselves eventually.

After forcing the man onto the ground, Alister sat back at the table, sighing as he peered upon his spilled drink. She peered at it, her head still directly facing him. She hissed softly, "I do not think he will be able to get you a new drink." Her head was downcast to loo at the unconscious man.

Alister

Alister took a breath in and then let it out, slightly annoyed that his drink was quite ruined. " Well, I guess your right, the man's to messed up to pay for another one." He said standing up, as he did so pushing the chair he sat in back with the back of his knees. His hands still on the table. He started to wonder to himself why exactly would this woman come into this bar, was she here for a bounty, she seemed frightening enough. But what about battle, could she fight or did she just use her aura for fulfilling her fights. At this point though he did not really care, she seemed to cause to much chaos around normal beings, something he didn't really need. Well not in a place like this anyway. Although he had an interest in this woman, something was off about her and it seemed there was more to her aura then what he could feel. But there was no real way for him to tell.

Alister stepped away from the table and looked around, all the hostility was slowly subsiding. At least he wouldn't be attacked now, most of them seemed to cower now and the two men had a few people trying to help them up as the many others just whispered on talking about the fight that ended as quickly as it started. Most were calling the man a monster and others were referring to the woman being weird and creepy. Alister looked over to the woman now as she looked at him, not being able to see her eyes. " Well, it was a pleasure talking to ya ma'am. See you later." Alister said with a small small then a harmless wink. Thats when he started making his way to the door, most the people moving out of his way until he exited the door.
