Not that Erik could hear it Hannah started tapping away again. "That was an interesting mood swing. I know teenagers get like that but..."
Erik walks over the the register and pays for the book.

Hannah focuses the sound on Kaida and hopes for some results. She can't hear it yet, but even so, she can record it and try to enhance it later.
Erik turns to look where Kaida went and waited for her.

Hannah would have preferred it if her brother hadn't taken off his jacket. She would still have visuals.
She taps away, searching for the history of the bookshop. It wouldn't be relevant, but who knows? Something useful might come from it.

Hannah turns the volume up. Kaida was talking. With a few hours worth of enhancing it might be possible to hear what she's saying. It would take a lot of work, and the problem was whether or not it was worth the time.

Hannah clicks a few times, already starting to enhance the recorded sound.
The sound is still muffled, but it's getting there. She smiles. In a few more days it'll be audible.
