His date was moving closer, although she still hadn't seen him yet. She was with a few other girls from her house, and they were keeping her distracted. Johnathon had joined them, but it was hard to hear him over the music. Seamus just nodded at him absently, trying to keep one eye on the small group of girls inching closer.
Then, he caught sight of Anna amidst the dancing crowd. She was standing with the jungle boy from earlier. Perfect time to collect. He shot a grin at Morgan before she had a chance to respond. "Looks like you're off the hook love." He nodded again to Johnathon before plunging into the crowd. It wasn't hard to reach them, it seemed the other dancers were giving them a wide berth. Neither of them made a move toward the other, so Seamus was left to assume they weren't going to dance.
"The dance floor wasn't built for standing, love." He pulled her hand gently towards him and took her in his arms. As opposed to the other pairs in the crowd, they were in position for waltz. "You did say that you didn't consider this dancing," he gestured his head towards the people around them. "Do you like to lead or can I?" He raised an eyebrow, awaiting her response. Then addressing the Gryffindor she'd been standing with he added, "I'll bring her back."

Anna followed behind Ea, wondering why he made such an effect. The other dancers moved away from them, and it made Anna feel on the spot. Especially since she could feel their eyes on her. Biting down on her bottom lip, she chose to ignore them. They were the ones acting strangely, not her. All at once, they stopped staring, which made Anna all the more nervous. She was usually one to try standing out, but never this much. It was just awkward. It got awkward still when the Gryffindor told her he had not idea what to do. “’Oh. Well. Uh.” she stuttered. She had assumed that when he had asked her to dance he meant…actual dancing. Mainly because no one had ever asked her to grind before. It usually just happened. “I’m not really sure what to tell you…” she trailed off, seeing Seamus out of the corner of her eye. Although she was thankful for the momentary distraction, she wasn’t particularly happy about who it was.
Before she was able to shoot off a snide remark at him, he had grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. Anna flinched at his initial touch, before scowling up at him. It took her a moment to get used to the closeness of their bodies, and to distract herself from it she reminded herself to thank Johnathon later on. He had insisted on her learning how to do a few dances so she wouldn’t look like an idiot at the Yule balls. And it seemed like it was going to come of some use here. “You lead.”

Moira followed Devi towards the stairs, ignoring the comment Angelica lobbed after them. She didn't have a clue what the word meant either, but she wasn't about to get into it. "I would say she's just about as lovely as she gets", Moira agreed. There were quite a few people on the stairs and she stayed tight behind Devi as they made their way up. No need to step on any hands.
The hallway wasn't very long but the doors to every room were open, making it seem more spacious than it was. As they neared the end of the hallway the girls could hear laughter and voices. Before Moira could see what was going on she had to sidestep her friend as she backed swiftly out the door, and into Angelica, who had apparently followed them. Inside the room there were several people surrounding a board with pieces scattered on top. It seemed quite old. What had apparently intimidated Devi was the fact that the players were missing clothing. Some of them quite a bit.

  ____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan had been idly watching the crowd. Their idea of dancing was one she didn't often pursue. Grinding, as she understood it to be called, was more of a dry hump that didn't require any sort of talent, than a dance. Morgan was trained in classic dance and had experimented with other, more modern forms of dance. Grinding certainly wasn't on the list. But it seemed the redhead was a bit too involved in her thoughts. She completely missed the offer Seamus made her. Perhaps it was for the best, since he quickly found a different girl to sweep away.
It was then she realized Jonathon had spoken to her. Perhaps the alcohol was starting to effect her. "Oh. I am sorry." What had he said was going on upstairs? Oh yes; he hadn't. "Interested in a thing? That depends on vhat it is." The drinks were making her tongue loose with her accent. Taking another drink from her cup, she decided that, for the moment, she didn't care.

The Brave LittleToaster! Wait That Isn't Right... How About The Big Bad *woof* Heh Never Mind ... (( ok... finally gonna post... life is a pain sometimes ))
Aaron had pulled back his hair into a low pony tail. It was amazing how different he looked with just that one simple difference. He smirked to himself. He had worn jeans that he had no problem with ripping just in case something went wrong. His shirt was a nice button down shirt. But the one part of his outfit that made him smile was the dog collar around his neck. It was his little joke. His secret shown to the world. {Outfit}
Aaron finally made his way to the shrieking shack. He was so far behind Anna, but it was little surprise. It had taken forever to get away from Addison and her suspicions, even now he hoped she wouldn't get too curious of what he had planned to scare some Gryffindors straight. He shook the thought away and made his way to the drink stand. This was what he had come for. The booze and the music. The mild grinding on the floor. Still, he was head boy. He would have to be careful of who saw him and what he did.
Aaron had just made his way to the drink stand and popped the lid off a bud light when Johnathan bumped into his shoulder. He recognized the boy as Anna's friend from earlier. He smiled and began babbling about a 'thing upstairs that Aaron should check out' before turning back to Morgan. Oh s**t!
Aaron turned away. A prefect was here! He was content to star across the room. Maybe a party was a bad idea. He should have known better, but how could he say no? He was already almost done with his first beer, which had no effect on him. He sighed and was content for the moment to just watch the room.

 Rising Dark Lord And Forever Womanizer (( updated Sam's posting style! yay! ))
Sam entered the Shrieking Shack late. To everyone he would call it his grand entrance. The truth was he had been lost deep in his thoughts. A scary thought that Sam really hadn't known he was capable of. He was enjoying this idea of destroying his father's image more than he expected. The world was going to bow at his feet and he would enjoy every moment of his vengeance. But for now, hell this was a party! {Outfit}
Sam burst open the doors, using a spell send a cold wind gushing through the room. Sure that he had everyone's attention that was downstairs he smirked. "I have arrived! Let the real party begin!" He called, lifting his hands into the air as if he was royalty. He smirked and moved into the room, letting his arms fall back down. His only thought was to find the little vixen that had lead him here.

Seamus began to lead Anna away, almost missing Ea's remark. As they twirled through the gyrating bodies around them he leaned toward her ear to be heard over the music. "I take it he doesn't want you back then? I was almost hoping he'd make a fuss." Seamus hadn't had enough to drink that it would impair his swing, or his step for that matter. However, he kept it simple. Anna was keeping up just fine but he wasn't sure how experienced she was. Honestly, I'm surprised she knew it at all.
His parents, more his mother, had insisted on his learning several rather stuffy dances, to further his eligibility among the pure blood families they would be meeting, and match making with. She hadn't figured on his father packing them up and moving them all over the bloody green earth. He'd met plenty of pure bloods across the globe then, but never anyone from his own backyard. Seemed foolish.
But he silently thanked her now, as he'd gotten Anna to dance. And away from his date.

Anna was content with pretending that being this close in proximity with Seamus didn't make her want to throw up. It was difficult, to say the least, but she was able to distract herself from thinking about it to much. Seamus was keeping the dance simple, and she was thankful for it. She was able to keep up well enough, but she knew she wouldn't be able to do much more. Right when she had been hoping she wouldn't have to talk to him at all, he leaned down and spoke. His initial comment immediately grated on her nerves. "Stop acting like I'm something to be traded about." Normally she would have let the comment slide, but her patience around Seamus was short and the alcohol was making her temper flare up. She was about to say something else when a cold, hard wind hit in the back, causing her to stumble and be pushed up against Seamus. Her cheeks flared red and she mumbled a sorry, making a mental note to kill the sorry b*****d who cast the spell.
----
It hardly bothered him that Seamus paid him no mind - he had certainly done so earlier. Before he had the time to ask if he was even paying attention, the Slytherin boy was gone. Johnathon didn't much want to know why.
The slight smile that had been on Johnathon's face disappeared when Morgan asked for further information on what was going on upstairs. He tried to think of how vague he could be before she physically harmed him. "Er, it's a game. And you...do...stuff." The boy trailed off, a wind brushing past him and ruffling his hair and clothing. A voice followed it, and when he looked over to see who it was, he scowled. Johnathon wasn't one to dislike people, but it was quite clear he didn't think much of Sam's grand entrance. Or the fact that he was heading over towards Morgan. Still with a scowl on his face, he seemed to be looking for the quickest escape route.

  ____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan had had a great deal to drink. And in rapid succession. But even the alcohol couldn't fend off her suspicions about what was going on upstairs. Yet Johnathon's pitiful excuse for an explanation had peeked her interest. Before the redhead had a chance to respond or even decide if she was interested, a strange and cold wind blew through the room. It played havoc with Morgan's hair which was curled loosely down her back. She downed what was left in her cup before setting it aside to go about fixing her hair.
A loud, familiar voice called out an entrance. Morgan looked back at the door and realized it was Sam who had cast the spell. She scowled. Acting out for attention was not a trait she found attractive. But the moment passed and Morgan looked to fall back into conversation with Johnathon. It seemed Johnathon was as displeased as Morgan had been a few moments before. She followed his gaze and saw that Sam was headed their way. More likely, her way. "If you haff to leave," she motioned to the stairs "pleez go ahead." Johnathon certainly looked like he wanted to be elsewhere.

 Rising Dark Lord And Forever Womanizer Sam smirked when he caught sight of the firey red head next to the punch table. A small group of girls rushed up to Sam as he made his way towards Morgan. He wasn't in the mood to deal with them, he wanted Morgan. Then again, this was the perfect chance to make her jealous. She was staring right at him.
The girls clung to him, each rattling on about something meaningless. He found some way to touch each of them. A brush down the back, over the shoulder, through their hair, or even a caress over the cheek. "I promise to spend time with each of you... But I have other things to attend to right now... See you lovely ladies later..." He said softly for their ears only. Each girl swooned as Sam pushed past them.
Sam ignored the boys around the table, even the one that seemed to be talking with Morgan. His eyes were only on Morgan. "I must say, violet is a ravishing color on you... Though I do prefer -- green..." He let the last word hang in the air like seduction as he stared into her eyes.
Sam was referring to her eyes, though as he thought about it, he hoped she was green with envy from those girls. Ah, green. It was a wonderfully fun color. Still, he knew he looked good. He could feel the connection between Morgan and himself. He wanted more.

  ____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ As soon as the group of floozies slimed their way over to Sam, Morgan turned her gaze away. Well, direct gaze anyway. She continued to monitor the situation from the corner of her eye. The way Sam deliberately toyed with the girls did not go unnoticed. She picked up her empty cup just to have something in her hands. Unfortunately, it was quickly crushed as Sam said something worth swooning over to each girl. When he finally arrived by Morgan's side, she was in no mood for his flattery. "Vell if you prefer green I am sure Angaleka vould be glad to show her drez to you." she said a little bitterly. The alcohol was making her accent heavy and her mind a little fuzzy. It didn't occur to her that Sam probably didn't know Angelica was wearing a tiny green dress. In fact, she wasn't quite sure where Angelica had gotten to. Morgan dropped the crushed cup back onto the table so she was free to put her hands on her hips. Looking Sam over, she decided he certainly looked appetizing. She licked her lips subconsciously. For now, at least, she felt in control. Glancing behind Sam, Morgan noticed one of the girls that had flocked to him a few minutes ago was slowly creeping back. Before Morgan could think better of it, she slid her wand out from her belt and silently cast the Jelly Legs Jinx on the unsuspecting girl, causing her to wobble on the spot. Gravity wasn't too unkind to her and she was able to wobble back into the crowd, feigning dance moves. ((So, uh, I let thishappen after I posted. Yay for tablets. xD))

ÂɾɑʙɛʟʟɛṀɑɾɪɛḊɑʑɪ Arabelle was late. And she knew this all too well. Her biggest reason merely being she had debated with herself far too long if she should attend the party or not. It wasn't likely to be much fun for her, as she often ended up overlooked in a crowd much bigger than three people. Nevertheless, she had decided to go, and there lie her next distraction. What did one wear to a party such as this? The brunnette must've stood staring at her wardrobe a full five minutes before she finally decided on a zebra-print dress paired with tights, and flats.
She was immediatly greatful for the flats, as once she'd reached the Whomping Willow and made her way through the tunnel, the ladder appeared to be difficult to climb in heels. At least for such an awkward person as Ara. However, at the top she managed to catch Sam's entrance, and hung back slightly. Should've gotten here earlier... she told herself once she'd finally entered, a few more people than she'd have liked glancing her way. It was difficult to follow such an annoying entrance as that, and felt her face heat up slightly in a blush.
Arabelle went straight for the edges of the room, making her way through towards the drink table. She was suddenly feeling thirsty...and was praying to Merlin there was still something non-alcoholic she could drink still. Once she reached the drink table she grabbed a cup of the punch, and sniffed it. It smelled alright...so she cautiously took a sip. Thankfully, if it was spiked the alcohol was tasteless, as it seemed perfectly fine. As she started to make her way back around, word of "something going on upstairs" met her ears. Intrigued, the Ravenclaw located the stairs and headed up.
At first, she spotted only 3 seventh years - a Slytherin that had the reputation of not being very nice (and who also appeared to be missing a skirt with her long shirt), Gryffindor she'd never really gotten to know, and a Hufflepuff she was fairly friendly with. But as she stepped closer she caught sight of the half-naked game players. "Oh my -" Ara gasped, nearly tripping over herself with surprise. "D-Devi? What is this?" she asked in a low voice, stepping closer to the Hufflepuff.

 Rising Dark Lord And Forever Womanizer Sam grinned wider. Oh, Morgan had been drinking. Mix the the alcohol with the anger and there was that lovely accent of hers. "If I wanted a skank, then I would find Angelica... But I want my fiery red head with a bite to her kiss..." He teased her, moving closer to her as she looked him up and down. He had to say he enjoyed the shiver as she licked her lips.
Sam caught sight of her slight twitch of her hand and saw her wand. Well, he wasn't cursed. He wondered who she had cursed, but decided not to ask. He didn't want to end up on the receiving end because he had opened his mouth too soon. Instead he just grinned at her. He was even so bold as to reach out and stroke lightly over her hair.
Sam reached out with his other hand and put it on her waist. He was very careful to put it in a gentlemanly spot. No need to make her mad so fast. He pulled her just a little closer to him so he could press his lips to the top of her head. "You promised me a dance..." He reminded her in a whisper.

Angelica grinned at the occupants of the room over Devi's shoulder before the Hufflepuff took a step back and bumped into her. Devi moved to the side, probably expecting Angelica to start in on her again, but she had no intention of doing so. She was much more intrigued at the game that was being played in the room. Moira, too, sidestepped, allowing Angelica a clearer view of the room. A boy Angelica recognized from Slytherin, though younger than herself, reached out and rolled the dice, moved his piece around the board, and upon seeing the space it stopped on, scowled and pulled off his shirt. This should be fun, she thought.
"Come, Moira, Devi, let's play," she said, ushering the other two girls into the room, her arms draped over their shoulders, the incident downstairs forgotten.
