Gale leaned back and kicked his feet up on the desk, not trying to bother hiding a yawn, "Just a quick question, Professor. Isn't werewolves more of a Care of Magical Creatures sort of lesson rather than a defense lesson? The only thing you need to do when faced with a werewolf problem is avoid going outside, or attracting any unwanted attention to yourself during a full moon. And if that isn't going to work, just keep a bit of silver nearby, or know that silver-net spell."
He shrugged, "Shouldn't we be learning, I don't know....spells?"

Cam nodded and said "point taken, what spell do you want to learn? patronus? shield, attack, summoning, mabey rituals non lethal, or mabed see where people are right now, like if they know patronus now. and their dueling skills should be needed to be seen" she thought out loud, bouncing the idea off of Gale to see what he thought.

"Well...technically there are some adults who can't produce a coroprial patronus and I'm sure the headmaster wouldn't like us having dementors in the school. Second on that, the care of magical creatures professor was already complaining about the boggarts that have gotten loose so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to tick her off anymore, as she has ways to get ahold of rabid hippogriffs."
Gale ran his fingers through his hair and stared out the window for a moment as he thought, "Really, it's your class, Professor. But, as a seventh year, I have the right to pick on you a bit. In the muggle world isn't that how high school seniors do it?"

Cam shrugged and said "beats me, but i guess so, they have less manners from what im told, but i dont really know so i cant tell you." she then thought for a moment and said "then lets do some dueling, i want to see what people know so far, as i want to put the more advanced with the less, evens it out, and i cna give pointers too." she spelled the door open and said "i have a dueling room set up for when we got to this" she led them two doors down and into a room that resembled the great hall, but with a dueling table on it (basically its like the one from book 2) she then stood on the center and said "what is the main attack spell and defense, and what are the pros and cons?"

"Oh come on, really?! I hate being late, if I could have one super power it would be that I'd never be late anywhere... you're always unprepared and can't get the jump on Anyone!" Locclyn thought as she saw her class migrating from the actual classroom to some room a few doors over. She joined the tail end of the stream of students attempting to slow her heavy breathing from nearly jogging here from the lake. "Ok maybe I need to get a little more comfortable with my schedule if I want to keep exploring the grounds during the day... le sigh"

Running down the hall, seeing another late face, Lillium shouted,
"Hey, what class are you late for?" Hoping she wasn't the only girl late for DADA.

Locclyn jumped as the Slytherin girl startled her... "I've officially been caught off guard or at a disadvantage TWICE already today... geez maybe I'm just not used to it here yet--that stair case maze almost killed me." outloud she said, "Defense, they're not in the classroom though... and I have no earthly idea what room that is they're going into." ovbiously irritated she caught herself and decided being grouchy wouldn't help her here.. so she tried her hand at Friendly! "Um, you?"

Jade raised her hand because she knew the answer to the professors question. "Well the basics are... for offense is probably stupefy. Wizards usually stun their opponent then use a follow up spell for a follow-up spell lets say... Serpensortia. A snake will appear out of your wand to cause a threat to your opponent. Assuming that if you did use that spell in hogwarts the snake shouldn't be venomous so it won't be any harm to their opponent. A great deal of defense is Expelliarmus. By knocking your opponents wand out of their hands you have a great deal of advantage in the duel or perhaps you could try a body binding spell. That would probably work out." Jade questioned herself if she got the answer wrong. But she shrugged and leaned back in her seat.
