Arielle shook her head, "Do not worry of the girls. I shall take care of them once our business here is done. They know better than to run, am I correct, Akira, Evermore?" This question she aimed at the door. It was intended as a rhetorical question, and she did not expect any answer. To Miriam, she nodded. "If Herr Trent agrees to stay, I do trust your judgement, of course, but where were you thinking of placing him?"

((Quick note: Arielle, since she grew up in Germany, will have a few German quirks: such as saying things like 'Herr', 'Frau', and 'Fraulein' in place of 'Mr.', 'Mrs.', or 'Miss'. Just letting you know so as to not confuse anyone. And she will only say 'Fraulein ___' to a student if she is particularly displeased with their behaviour.))

Evermore sighed again and simply shrugged her shoulders. Before she could respond to Akira, though, she heard the Headmistress's statement to them. She winced at this.

"Ugh... it wouldn't have mattered if we hid or not, Akira. She's the Headmistress! She would have known we were listening in, anyway. I can't believe I let my impulses control me. So embarrassing... I definitely need to finish my meditation each day, no matter what distracts me in the middle of it."

She simply stood there with drooped shoulders as she waited for the Headmistress to come out and reprimand them. Well, at least she and Akira had fun! It wasn't a complete loss... And hopefully the Headmistress wouldn't be too disappointed in either one of them and would eventually look at Evermore with approval again.

((There not hidding lol, the two girls are standing right there infront of the door lol.))

Akira didn't need to repeat what the Headmistress said that time, so she groaned softly. Could this day get any worst!? Honestly, what next??

Not daring to leave, the hanyou stared at her shoes in defeat, acknowledging that Evermore was right. Arielle was the Headmistress after all! It would have been completly pointless to use their usual tecknics...

Oi, curiousity was a real pain sometimes...

Still, her dog ears twitched and listened in once again.

"Hawk boy's name is Trent and he'll be staying at the school by the way! Can you believe it?? An actual male, our age, will be here, at Bai Ching!!" as Akira told Ever about this, she had a frown on her face.

The hanyou didn't dislike males, but after what had happened at her old school...She wasn't exactly fond of them either.

Evermore nodded. "Nice enough name, but I don't know how well it will go over to have a man here. So many girls will be tripping over themselves to talk with him or just to see him. Of course, as you know, I prefer men a couple years older than myself."

She chuckled softly but stopped when she glanced over at Akira and saw a frown on her face. Evermore sighed, walked over to her friend, and slung an arm over her shoulders.

"Don't worry, Akira. He won't bug you. He seems to be preoccupied with something else. And besides, if he even tried to mess with you, I would know about it and I'd get him back, and not just because it's in my nature as a Fury."

She laughed and smiled encouragingly at Akira.

Miriam stood up and nodded to Arielle. "Alright. I'll talk to you later, Headmistress. We still need to discuss what we're going to do about those pranksters who thought it funny to grow stinkweed in my personal garden."

She turned to leave and signaled Trent to follow her. "I'll lead you to one of the green houses you can stay in. I need to get back outside anyway..."

She walked outside the room and noticed the two girls huddled in a corner. "Looks like it's your turn, ladies. I think she'll go easy on you today though." She gave them a smile and continued walking back out of the academy.

Miriam giggled slightly. "No, I don't think you turning into a tree will keep the girls from becoming distracted by you. You're an oddity here at this school, so you're going to attract attention no matter what form you take."

Almost as soon as she set foot back onto the lush grass outside, her body began to slowly be wrapped in various vines and plants, until her entire lower form was almost in the state Trent had found her in. She let out a content sigh, glad to be rooted once again in the earth. Now if only those clouds would move so she could get some sun...

She guided him towards the side of the academy where several buildings could be seen. These all belonged to Miriam, and were where she held her various classes. She led him to the closest one, one that was a little bit more run down than the others. "You will be staying here. I haven't used this building in some time now, so it's yours as long as you stay here."

Akira smiled softly and nodded, glad to have Evermore as a best friend, who always looked out for her and was there for her, then again, of course this half dog demon had and would always continue to do the same!

When the teacher walked out of the office and told them that the Headmistress would probably go "easy" on them, that reassured the hanyou somewhat, but she still felt very guilty and worried...

She then glanced at the boy. When he bowed to them, she bowed back, but kept a wary eye on hawk boy. Old habits died very hard...

"Well, here goes nothing..." Akira mumured softly.
