Stormflight nodded briskly and padded out of the apprentice den, making sure Daypaw was still following. "This will teach you the different clan scents," She meowed.
Stormflight led Daypaw past Dew rocks. She let out a hiss, remembering the stories that came from the rock. This had been where WillowClan had evacuated to , bloodied and some dead, to get away frm the Fellowship.
Stormflight opened her maw, catching a scent of WillowClan. "WillowClan," She whispered.

Daypaw took in a deep breath, finding that the scent was not disgusting to her. It was almost warm and welcoming. She blinked, looking back at her mentor, but not wishing to tell her of such thoughts.

Darkpaw looked up at Pebblestar, his eyes wary, but still filled with concern. Concern for his own safety, not anyone else's. "Is something wrong, Pebblestar?" He mewed gruffly.

Lunapaw looked around camp and noticed, to her that it was empty. So she took it upon herself to guard it. She stood up and walked over to the camp entrance. So she sat down and wrapped her tail over her paws. She looked over at the fresh kill pile which seemed to fairly well sustained. She got up and took a mouse which was on top and took it back to where she was sat on guard. The mouse was the first thing she had eaten all day and she didnt think anything else could compare. She licked her lips and then had a clean waited on someone to tell what needed doing.

Stormflight patrolled the other borders, teling Daypaw about the different clan scents.
When they finally got back, it was much darker than when they had left. "Well, we're done, She meowed. The moon was rising higher into the air. Stormflight yawned tiredly. "I'm going to sleep," She announced. She padded off to Pebblestar's den. "Good night," She meowed into her leader's den. There was no answer. Still out hunting, she thought to herself.
Stormflight shrugged and padded to the warrior den. She looked over at Redtail's nest. "Don't forget. Dawn patrol."
"I know, I know!" she hissed angrily.
Stormflight went to sleep rather quickly.

"It's not that I'm going to kill you." Darkpaw looked Pebblestar in the eyes. "I haven't had enough battle training yet. I'd be fighting from instinct, not experience." He mewed wisely. "And most of the time, that'll get me killed."

Daypaw padded to her nest and settled down for sleep.

Redtail blinked. she was really tired. I should get some sleep! She thought to herself. She tensed herself and then relaxed. Now, she felt tired enough to sleep.

"Help me with what?" Darkpaw demanded. "You were the one who caused by parents to be flattened by foxes! You were the one who begged them to go hunting!" He growled.

Heronkit looked around the camp. She noticed the lone Lunapaw standing guard. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a mouse, then padded to her and sat down. "Hi," she said kindly.

Darkpaw hesitated a moment. "But shouldn't you have gone? You have more lives than any of us! You could've easily risked a life for us, but you had to stay safe at camp while my parents were being killed!" He snarled.

Pebblestar paused, sinking her claws into the ground. He didn't know, what would he do if he did?
"Darkpaw, I shouldn't have to explain everything I do to you, but since this has effected you so deeply, I feel that I should. If you must know I am on my last life, as I was then. The clan still needs me, and I don't believe that our deputy was ready to take my place then. Maybe, maybe now TwilightClan's deputy is ready to become a leader, but not then." She meowed. Pebblestar looked back at her apprentice and blinked once. "Do with that information what you will, but I believe that I couldn't leave the clan just then, and I prayed with all my heart that your parents would come back. That night I waited at the camp entrance for them, and you would never understand the guilt I felt when they never came back."
Now she turned to face her apprentice, "I'll never be able to heal your wounds or bring back your parents, but I will give you free reign to seek vengeance as you like; TwilightClan is ready."
((Sorry Stormflight, I just thought of that as a reason. Really really sorry. >_<))

Rosepetal quietly padded outside the medicine cat den, to go grab something from the fresh-kill pile. She had been busy all day, re-organizing herbs, not having anything to eat. She grabbed a vole, and padded over to Lunapaw.
((Lunapaw was two of my cats names in previous guilds!!))

Darkpaw's tail twitched in surprise, and he didn't say a word. He didn't want to kill the leader, he'd be banished for it. But he had hated Pebblestar for so long, since she had caused his parents' death. He decided to just sniff the air, and look for prey.
