Seeing the exact same and weakened Seedot, D had switched once again, watched the wild Pokemon use Bide, and Treecko performing his Tackle to end the short battle.
Treecko: XP = 40/160

D finally found the exact Pokemon he had been looking for, another Ralts. He had sent out his own, and allowed his one to use Confusion, lowering the wild Ralts' health. The wild Ralts had used Growl, the only move that he knew. D then tossed a Pokeball, catching the wild Ralts in an instant. D, now proud of catching the Pokemon that he wanted, made his way into Petalburg City.

      _ [ Personal Mission for the sake of Beatrix! ]Route 102, such a tranquil place. As I walked in, I was greeted by a most appealing lake, so what better thing to do then let the Pokémon enjoy!? “Come on out everybody!” All four of my Pokémon came out; Leandro, Beatrix, Audrey, and Jecht, whom I actually haven’t used in a battle. I know! How sad, it’s almost shameful. The four of them ran to the pond, well, all except for Beatrix whom happened to be a Silcoon so moving wasn’t an option, instead she just sat there with her eyes dead-set on the pond only a few meters in front of her. “You know, I can help you.” I grabbed my Silcoon and watched as she slowly hoped to the pond. She was determined and didn’t want to present herself as a weak Pokémon now that she was a Silcoon. “So everybody, I hope we all can become a great team! I know a few of you don’t really like me,” I was mainly talking about Leandro and Jecht when I said that, the two boys, go figure, “but, I hope we can put our disputes with each other aside so we can become the champions!” Audrey barked happily as well as Jecht while Silcoon stood motionless, almost as still as Leandro, who still hadn’t said not three things to me this whole time we’ve been together. “Now, time for our first break! Enjoy!” As the Pokémon began to splash around in the water, I noticed more and more that Beatrix seemed depressed. Maybe it was because she couldn’t move, or maybe I was just imagining it but I couldn’t help but feel like I should consult her, after all, I am her trainer and I need to make sure my Pokémon are fabulous. ”Hey Beatrix, what’s the matter. I hope you’re not holding out your secrets on me.” Beatrix rolled her eyes to me, but couldn’t speak so I didn’t have to slightest idea of what was wrong with her. That’s when I made my own personal goal. ”Alright, how about this! I’m going to train you until you can speak to me okay? Won’t that be something?!” I could tell that Beatrix’s eyes were lighting up. It was obvious she hated being in that silly Silcoon stage just as much as I hated to see her hurt. I held out my Poke-Balls preparing to withdraw all my Pokémon because it seemed as though it just wasn’t fair to watch all of them have fun while Beatrix merely got to watch. ”Return everyone, we have some training to do!” With that, we headed off, to find a Pokémon to train against!

It was Beatrix the Silcoon and I! We were planning to find a wild Pokemon but luckily for us, it found us. A Level Four Seedot raged towards us but luckily, Silcoon wasn't just a lump, well for the most part. It knew Poison Sting! After telling it to use Poison Sting, Beatrix nodded and shot several venomous needles, all of which hit the Seedot and knocked it out, making this battle a victory! "See Beatrix, you're one step closer to evolving! How fabulous."

It was Beatrix the Silcoon and I! We were planning to find a wild Pokemon but luckily for us, it found us. A Level Three Wurmple raged towards us but luckily, Silcoon wasn't just a lump, well for the most part. It knew Poison Sting! After telling it to use Poison Sting, Beatrix nodded and shot several venomous needles, all of which hit the Wurmple and knocked it out, making this battle a victory! "See Beatrix, you're one step closer to evolving! How fabulous."

A Level Four Surskit raged towards us but luckily, Silcoon wasn't just a lump, well for the most part. It knew Poison Sting! After telling it to use Poison Sting, Beatrix nodded and shot several venomous needles, all of which hit the Surskit and knocked it out, making this battle a victory! "See Beatrix, you're one step closer to evolving! How fabulous."

It was Beatrix the Silcoon and I! We were planning to find a wild Pokemon but luckily for us, it found us. A Level Three Zigzagoon raged towards us but luckily, Silcoon wasn't just a lump, well for the most part. It knew Poison Sting! After telling it to use Poison Sting, Beatrix nodded and shot several venomous needles, all of which hit the Zigzagoon and knocked it out, making this battle a victory! "See Beatrix, you're one step closer to evolving! How fabulous."

 _ [ Evolving Beatrix ]I held Beatrix’s Poke-Ball in my hands, ready for our next battle because I knew it would most probably be the last before it evolved. However, before I even had time to consider what it would be like before it evolved, a Seedot appeared before us! ”Oh, okay well this is convenient. Let’s do it like we’ve done it before, go Beatrix!” Beatrix flashed before my eyes and in the flash laid a Silcoon, motionless, well for now. ”We’re attacking first okay? Poison Sting!” I pointed to the Seedot who was focusing itself into its Bide attack. Beatrix shot several needles from its skin causing the Seedot to roll over several times due to the Super-Effective nature of the attack. Not only that, but it was poisoned! ”We’ve got this Beatrix, one more Poison Sting!” Beatrix shot several needles, this time knocking out the Seedot we encountered. However, before we could start cheering, Beatrix began to glow! ”Come on out everybody, our ally is evolving!” Leandro, Jecht, and Audrey all came out and marveled at the splendid display happening before them, well all except Leandro who couldn’t care less about anyone else. Beatrix’s shell began to rip open and out sprouted wings! ”That must be the Beautifly wings! Oh my gosh!” Out next was the head, though I couldn’t see it really because all that there was, was a flashing light. Eventually I saw a figure peeled open on the ground and what looked like a giant butterfly flying over it! After the glowing stopped, I noticed that Beatrix was now a Beautifly! ”We did it Beatrix! You became a Beautifly!” Beatrix smiled happily and flapped its beautiful wings causing a reflective dust to wrap itself around us. The dust almost made me feel like I could fly, as though I were in some Disney movie. ”Well my dear, I guess you did it after all. Congratulations.” Beatrix flew over to me and rubbed itself on me as a way of showing its gratitude, but it’s weird. Normally as a Wurmple and Silcoon, Beatrix was bitterly calm and never expressed its feelings, though now it seems happier than ever. Perhaps it’s because of evolving? Maybe Leandro will be more cheerful when he evolves to. After everyone smothered Beatrix in congrats I realized that there were some Pokémon here that I’ve not captured! My goal was to fill up my poke-Dex and meet a variety of new Pokémon so what better place to do that than here! I looked around for a moment deciding which Pokémon I would use to help me capture all the Pokémon here, it wasn’t long before I realized that I hadn’t used Jecht in a battle yet. ”Jecht, you ready to finally get some training done?” Jecht barked happily at this question, of course, he was kind of violent so I wasn’t too surprised that he was eager to attack some Pokémon. So now, with my Silcoon evolved into a Beautifly, just like I set as my goal, all of us were off! Though my next goal was to capture every Pokemon in Route 102!

A new Pokemon!? Rats! No such luck, it was meerly a level 4 Poochyena! "I choose you Jecht, let's show this Pokemon what we can really do!" I pointed to the Pokemon cautiously making its way towards us. "You know what to do right!? Tackle it several times so it doesn't even get the chance to strike at us back!" Jecht nodded and with great speed was off! It struck the Pokemon several times until it finally fainted leaving us victorious, and off to find our new Pokemon!

 _ [ A Potential in the Seed! ]”Well, Well, Well; If it isn’t a Seedot! Jecht come on out!” I tossed Jecht’s Poke-Ball into the air and released him. He tried to make himself appear intimidating by letting out a sad squeak. He wasn’t fooling anybody with the bark though, not even the Seedot, who was already using bide. ”Alright, listen. It’s a Seedot so here’s the plan. You attack it twice and once you do that I’ll throw a Poke-Ball.” I said this because if the Seedot managed to store enough energy then it would be light’s out for my Pokémon Jecht and I don’t want that. Jecht nodded to me in an understanding way and leapt, tackling the Seedot once which caused the Seedot to spin on the tip of its acorn like thing. ”One more time, and be sure to jump far away from it when you do!” Jecht barked in an understandingly decent way and lunged tackling the Seedot and jumped away right after. As he did, I noticed the Seedot begin to light up because it was about to release its bide attack. ”Oh no you don’t! Poke-Ball go!” I under-handed my Poke-Ball at the Seedot and it was quickly placed inside of it. After a moment, I noticed the Poke-Ball shake violently but not break, perhaps it was the bide being unleashed? Who knows, but after what seemed like forever the Poke-Ball stopped its shaking. ”Excellent! Fabulous Jecht, we caught ourselves a Seedot! Now, what to name it? Oh I know! We’ll name it Sofia since it is a Female okay?” Jecht nodded happily, I guess it liked the name who knows? I soon realized however, that we should get back to catching all the Pokémon on the Route! I figured that the sooner we caught them would be the better but as my Poke-Balls on my side began to line up, I realized that I could only use six Pokémon. ”What a problem. Let’s see, the first gym leader is a rock type so I’m definitely using Leandro. Who knows who else! Maybe Beatrix but it all depends on what I have by the time I get there.” I nodded to myself feeling as though I was really beginning to get the hang of all this Pokémon stuff and I wasn’t even in Petalburg city yet! I couldn’t help but get all giddy inside because of all this. I was actually a Pokémon trainer, and not only that I had a fully evolved Pokémon! Granted it only took like six levels but still. ”Alright Jecht, return! I’ll need you for later most reassuringly.” After withdrawing my Pokémon, I moved on with my journey.
