Marie's eyes widened for a moment before she took another sip. "Considering your age, I would assume you have see many a things. Unless you were like some of the others I have come across in my travels, concerned with one relatively small area and, as you would say, young." She said jokingly.

Kai stokes one of Akio's arms with a smile "I only had one woman who gave birth to the ancient ancestors, the rest usually died partway through the pregnancy. They couldn't handle an immortal in the womb. Anyhow, what region do you hail from Marie?"
