I'm not saying that they don't face problems like all that stuff, but then, everyone in life faces problems of whatever kinds. To just give up and say you can't make it in life, that's lame. And a fail. Everyone faces hardships in life, but that's no reason to just give up.

And, organic food/inorganic food failing? Um...*scratches head* I don't get it....

Well... okay. All I'm trying to say, though, is that maybe you should consider just how difficult these hardships may be before you pass judgement.

Term "organic food" = fail.
Why? Because, um, have you ever seen any inorganic food?

Other things that fail:

1. People who use the word "gay" to mean lame. First of all, it's more or less like wearing a big sign that says, "I'M A HOMOPHOBE AND DON'T CARE!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!11!" regardless of what is intended. Second of all, it makes these idiots sound, well, like idiots. Third, the meaning of the word "gay" has been tampered with once already to become a slang term for homosexual (and thereby spoiling the lyrics to numerous old songs, among other things) and to now to twist it around to mean lame of all things is just... well... lame.

2. Companies that make peanut butter products without testing the peanut paste they use first.

3. Any company that doesn't test its products carefully before it ships them out the door.

4. Women who obsess over chocolate. Especially if they're supposed to be "on a diet." Yes, it may taste good, and yes, you can easily "adjust" your daily calories to make up for that candy bar you had at lunch or whatever, but even so-- it's still just candy. And repeatedly cutting out healthier foods so you can have your daily intact of 300 calories or more of chocolate is NOT going to help your waistline at all. [/Rant about certain females I'm related to. I wouldn't grouse so much if they didn't have their own little weightloss blog for crying out loud and didn't whine about gaining back weight every two seconds.]
The problem is that most kids and teenagers don't even think about it anymore. It's just part of their vocabulary. crying

True, but animal testing is also a MAJOR FAIL. xp
I take it you've had a run-in with the infected peanut butter that's been recalled? confused

Yeah, same here. It's like "I don't care if you're fat, I don't care if you wanna binge on chocolate, but for christs sake, shut up about it! gonk You're making yourself overweight so you have no right to waste my time complaining about how you have no idea why you can't loose weight! evil ".

Ugh! I got down to half the page and gave up.
Umm...How about we start talking about...religion again??? [XD]

No.
Other things that legitimately fail.
I refuse to let offensive topics tear threads here apart.
Religion is subjective and objective- the subjective part being people's views of it.
You may believe it fails, but I may believe that you sound ignorant just for saying that. :0 See? It's all about point of view, interpretation, and research.

Now, about what really fails---
Like... What Boston said! : D People who use the word "gay" to describe something lame, lol.

@The Kira Clown: No, I'm not getting into another argument about religion. We're supposed to be discussing stuff that fails in this thread anyway. (Not that I'm really one to talk, but whatever. 3nodding )

Anyway, howdy, Helena! (Waves.) Nice way of putting it-- and you were even able to remain more level-headed than me when you expressed your views, so kudos. smile

@Zephyr: Wow. It amazes me how you can manage to be so flippant about such a serious thing as humanity failing each other overall. (Which is true, but still...)

No offense kiddo, but everyone was able to stay more level-headed than you. xd It's really not such a huge feat. sweatdrop

Yeah, well humanity does fail. It always has, it always will, and there's nothing that can be done about it. Might as well not give yourself worry lines over it. mrgreen

Oh! Flippant....Zephyr likes that word! And yes, Zephyr is very flippant about most every subject except for two: Rape and Human Trafficking. Everything else she can be flippant on. *nods*

Oh! Fail! I wants to find a funny picture now, because that's what I originally thought this blog thing would be, was fail pictures! Here we go!

Yes, but I INTENTIONALLY overreacted. Why? Because I did. So there. >.<

But I like worrying! It's a whole lot better than sitting around all complacent the way some people I know in real life do. stare

True, true, sigh. neutral

Meh, it kinda depends on how the animals are treated-- if they're being abused, then yes, it most definitely is a major fail.
(Nah, but this is just one of those things that makes me slap my hand to my forehead. You'd think they would at least TEST the stuff before they send it out, to avoid possible lawsuits if nothing else!)

Yeah. It's kinda sad, too, because the person in question had gone from being over 280 lbs. down to a little over 150 as I recall, and then she got back up to almost 200 again.

Speaking of which, the idea that suicide is morally wrong is a FAIL. evil

Well, it's very hard to say whether or not all suicide is morally wrong, but I do take the view that most cases needn't have died-- just because things seemed to be going badly didn't mean that they had to quit, and they missed out on a lot of good stuff that could've happened if they'd just held out. Besides, just because everything is crummy now doesn't mean it will stay that way.

Although, as I get older, I am starting to understand more that it's possible for a person to reach a point where maybe they get used up, and there's only so much they can take. One thing that really bugs me at any rate is how everybody goes bananas when someone kills themselves. Why weren't they that concerned about this individual when they were still alive? Why does it sometimes seem like it's only after you're dead that anyone gives a damn??

Which brings us to another thing that fails: people who go ga-ga over dead loved ones. In fact, they seem to care more about this person now that they're dead and keep doing memorial type stuff for them every five seconds even years afterwards. (Because I've actually seen this happen, and it's scary.) The dead, are, well, dead. You can't bring them back ever. I know grief can be hard but I thought part of life was learning how to move on past bad stuff and try to accept what happened. (Or, am I wrong?)

So... your two big issues are Rape and Human Trafficking? Why those two specifically, if I may ask?

(Incidentally, I like the "FAIL" picture with the dog leaping at the woman holding the frisbee best. lol. lol )

Wait, I know another thing that fails! Idiotic people who assume things about other people based on little to no proof. (Not that I would know anything about this, doot dee doot dee doo.) And I refuse to post any pictures right now like other folks in this thread are doing, since I'm too lazy to look for any. So there. razz
