Dani shrank away from the strange male, slipping away from the bed to place some distance between him and herself. She'd take no chances with Daz practically unconscious on the floor. Her hand slid to her hip where her whip was coiled, her fingers tightening over the handle. "I'm afraid I do not know where he put your sword." she said softly. "But since I didn't see it when he came here with you, I assume you may have left it somewhere." She kept her face and voice calm, hoping to keep this man calm as well. It often worked on Daz when he went into rages. She prayed this man wouldn't be too different.

Hesitating for a long moment, Lyra took a few careful steps forward. She knew he was tired...she didn't know how she could possibly know such a thing but she could tell. He seemed so alone...as alone as she felt and a part of her that she didn't recognize was tempted to go over and attempt to comfort him. That was a laughable thought. "You're welcome...I thought they should have a place to sleep." she looked around her once more and smiled, in the light the room was beautiful, probably the best one she had seen so far. She turned and found herself looking down that dark pathway, she couldn't help the shudder that passed through her. She was going to have to go back up there if she was to let him rest. Pushing that aside for the moment, she turned back to face him. "This is where you sleep isn't it? I'm sorry if I woke you. You just disappeared so fast I never got a chance to talk to you." she watched him carefully, her brown eyes seemed to flicker with a life of their own, just as the firelight flicked over the room. She knew she wasn't normal...most people couldn't hear the wind...and didn't consider it a friend. She had found that most people couldn't hear or smell the things that she could either. Lyra feared she would never truly learn who she was..or what or where she actually came from. She had to have a family somewhere didn't she...people after all didn't just appear out of the air around them. The only other person she had observed enough that was even similar to her was Lucid...and he could do things even she could not. One day, she thought quietly, one day I'll be as confident in myself as he is, even if I am caught again, one day things will be different.

Turning back to her, Lucid glanced past her at the dark stairway. He knew she was afraid of the dark. To get back to her own room, she'd have to brave the stairs again. He gaze then shifted over to his own bed. She wasn't going to hurt anything by sleeping on it..Right? "Tell you what." he said, getting up from the chair. "You can sleep here, until I rise this evening." He motioned to his rather large bed. "I can leave the candles and fire burning for you. Or." He lifted the nearest candle and held it up. "You can take this with you to light your way back up the stairs."

Lyra's eyes had widened probably enough to take up her whole face. She couldn't help it. "You'd let me sleep with you?" she asked, unable to keep the stunned quality out of her voice. She didn't think she had ever sleep next to another human being in her life She wondered if it was all that different from sleeping alone. Looking down at the candle Lucid held in his hands and then she turned to look back into the darkness. Nope, if she really had a choice she'd rather not go back up there alone. Looking back at him, she hesitated for a long moment, awaiting his answer. Sleeping with someone might be nice...maybe, just maybe her dreams would leave her be for one night. "Nothings down here right...except you and I?"

A soft smile curved his lips. What did she think could possibly be down here with him while he slept? The bogeyman? "No. I can assure you that there is nothing else here but myself." he said. "And I would not have offered my bed to you if I had not meant it, Lyra. You should not have to ask me such a thing."

Shaking her head, she hesitated a long moment before she allowed a soft smile to curve her lips and light up her eyes. "Alright then...if you're sure I won't bother you...I'm kind of a restless sleeper." she warned, looking over at the black, lace curtains that surrounded the bed.

Lucid gave himself a mental kick. He'd not meant to offer her his bed at all, much less lead her to believe that he was going to sleep in it with her. It was too late now, though. He'd just have to settle for the sleep of humans. He prayed he'd actually manage at least a few hours. If she really was a restless sleeper, he might not get that much though. Moving to the bed, he parted the curtains again, motioning for her to go first.

Lyra frowned and hesitated once more, something she seemed to be doing a lot of around him. Sighing, she moved forward and slowly sank down onto the far side of the bed, surprised at how soft the comforter beneath her was. Turning her head, she looked back at him, and perhaps it was a trick of the light, or something else that made her actually have to remind herself to breath, she had heard of other woman talking about men that they found so attractive that they took their breath away but she had always thought they were just teasing. Her gaze seemed lost in his. In his eyes she swore she could feel herself drowning, those pale, vivid blue eyes, very similar to the ones you would see on a wolf. Caught, Lyra froze and unable to tear her gaze away from his she simply waited.

Luxord began to panic and knew that the girl infront of him meant know harm but knew nothing of his weapon. "I must go and find it!!" He jumped out of the bed but he keeled over as his wounds were reopening once again. The blood began rushing out of his body and he once again was in a state of near-coma. "Damn it!"

Lucid sank onto the bed as well, turning his face somewhat away from hers. The allure that vampires possessed was known to be very hard to resist for most people, male or female. It was one of the things that drew prey to them. Lucid often found it also captured unwanted company as well and thus had been hiding from the world for the past thousand years or so. Laying back against the pillows, he stretched his legs out on the bed, lifting his arms and tucking his hands under his head. He was relaxed now, somewhat, and his body was screaming for sleep. "Get some sleep." he told her quietly, glancing over at her. He then shifted his gaze toward the top of the canopy before closing his eyes.

Dani stepped toward him then, meaning to finish healing him. His sudden outburst had stopped her in the middle of doing so. "If you don't lay down and be still you are going to bleed to death." she said, her voice stern. "And you cannot very well go looking for your stupid sword if you're dead, now can you?" She hadn't meant to be mean about it, but that's they way it had come out. Perhaps it was a good thing though. Reaching out, she used the Terran strength that she possessed, which could rival that of any vampire, and hauled him gently back onto the bed. She then straddled him, to keep him still and pushed her hands against his chest. "Now be still." she ordered, focusing her energies again. It wasn't a decent position for her to be in, sitting on him like she was, but other than tying him down to ensure that he wouldn't try to get up again, she couldn't think of anything else.

After getting back on the bed and having her on him, he felt weird as if this was a very good position between him and a female. But she was healing him and trying to tie him down to finish the job. He did nothing but lay his head to the side of the bed and shed a small tear for his sword. It was the only friend he knew since he started his journey to stop his brother from taking the world and destroying everything.
Sin had awaken and the city was still filled with rain everywhere. He raised his body which was in perfect condition and began to walk the scarce streets. Nothing but light posts around he started a lone stroll to try and find a dry and warm place to stay for a while.

Dani finished healing the male as fast as she could. Then, after checking to make sure the wounds were completely gone, she slid off of him and stood beside the bed. She looked down at him, at the tear that rolled down his face. Was he that upset about his sword? Did the weapon mean that much to him? If so, who was she to stop him from going and looking for it? She suddenly felt incredibly mean for stopping him in the first place. She glanced down at Dazramus, who was still asleep on the floor. Daz hardly ever slept, but when he did almost nothing could wake him. Kneeling next to his form, she pushed, rolling him over. There was an unfamiliar sword tucked into his belt along with his own longer one. Was this what that man had made the fuss about? Pulling it from Daz's belt, she held it up, looking back at the man on the bed. "This the one you wanted?" she asked.

He took a look at the sword and his eyes had widen up in terror. But he kept his cool and said nothing. "No that isn;t mine sorry... it must be in that grass fields back there. i must go retrieve it." He finlly stood with all of his wounds cleared and leaving only a scar he passed over the woman and before he left out the door of the room he spoke once again. "Thank you for your help, tell the same to your friend when he awakens." He walked out down the steps and out of the castle in search of his sword. The one the woman was holding looked identical to the one that his brother held in their battle. "It must be the other half... i pray my brother does not know of it." He reached the grass and kept on walking to the edge to find his lone companion.
Sin had found a tavern on the east side of Delmarr and just sat down at the bar. He had said nothing as to not let anyone come into contact with him. Til the barman came up close and said, "Wat'll you have?" Sin made no effort to speak but pointed to a bottle that read "Black Blood". He sat with his drink swirling it around and his sword held on tight. The men of the tavern were speaking loudly and started to make jeers at Sin. He said nothing until what looked like the leader of them came close to speak, Sin grabbed the hilt of his sword and rammed it into his chest making him fall onto the floor gasping for air.

Dani stared at the spot the man had been just moments before. Should she go after him? Nah. If he wanted to go find his sword, then let him. There was nothing more she could do for him anyway. She glanced down at the strange sword that rested in her hand. If this wasn't that man's sword, then who did it belong to? she wondered. Daz wasn't in the habit of just picking up strange weapons. He hated using his own sword as it was. With this in mind, she slipped the sword under the bed and turned to Daz, making the effort to pull him onto the bed. At least she didn't have to worry about Daz getting too attached to his weapons. Laying beside her guardian on the bed, she rested her head gently on his shoulder. She lifted a few strands of his cream colored hair between her fingers and fiddled with them, thinking about everything that had gone on this past night.
