Jack laughed loudly. "Well, those seaturtles can be tricky little buggers, really..." He looked at Micheal and continued to smile. "Well, my primary choice was a bit of a flop, but my second choice has been doing all right. Besides, Gibbs tells a mother of a story."

Michael laughed.
"Well..."
He took another sip from his drink.
"... He'll have one heck of a story to tell on the day he dumps your sorry behind on some pitiful island."
he took a large sip of the drink.
"I'll be sure to sail off the coast, with a bottle of rum and a nice meal."
He leaned back in his chair.
"Watching the grand demise of Captain Jack Sparrow."
He closed his eyes.
'It's too good to wait for.' he thought, opening them quickly.

[Yes, Izzy-kins. I'm playing a girl.]
Jill looked at the male who'd called her love. She lowered the drinks slowly, her hand moving to her locket, raising the pictures to her vision, looking back at the male again. "I'd say so." She showed the pictures. "This female should look familiar too."

"i didn't say i hated sea turtles, i just said he could have been more creative, or at least realistic..." Aubry told Storm and Auron in her defense.

Amongst the chatter of seaturtles and mutany, Jack looked over at the waitress, who had just spoken up. He looked at the picture; squinted really, and blinked. He looked up at the waitress and back down at the picture. "Can't really say..." he muttered, rubbing his chin. He blinked. "Oy... is that me?" He pointed to the one beside it and looked up. "Listen love, I'm flattered, but that's a tad scary, don't you think?"

[-Leans forward- Ooo, I don't want to miss a minuet of this. Anyone have any popcorn?]
"Damn. And here I'd thought I found a fellow turtle-hater. Rotten things, those little shites are."
Storm found her gaze entraptured by Jill's face. She had no idea why, and it was nagging the crap out of her.

Jack cocked an eyebrow. "What? Can you see something he doesn't?" He squinted back at the locket. "I can't say I've ever seen this woman before... I may have, I don't know..."

Storm rolled her eyes.
"You're the girl's da, Jack. Would you like a DNA test, to prove it?"
The drow felt a warm glow of pride, then. She'd spent hours listening to mostly meaningly (yet wonderfully entertaining) dribble from her daughters mouths before hearing this gem sentence in the mud. Oh, and a woman named Margret cheated on her husband with another and now she's pregnant. Oh, the scandle! But that's besides the point!
Apparently, Zia and Maida had learned it from Jaenelle, after an indepth talk with her. Storm wasn't actually certain if it made sense or not (a great many things the crow girls said didn't), but it made her sound wonderfully smart.

Jack blinked and looked at Storm, and then back at the waitress. Then back again at Storm. "I think you've had a tad too much rum there, love..." he said, inching her pint away from her. "And one more thing... what is a bloody DNA test?"
(remember what time period they're in -.-; )

[I do know the TP. Jaenelle's a character of Ranu's. She's a time traveler. And they did have blood tests back then. heart Note, this was mostly cutting a vein, collect blood in a small bowl and add chemcial "X" to see how the blood changes. If it turns a different colour, you've got a vatal disease. Cheery-O!]
Storm blinked.
"Um...I think it's a blood test, of some kind."

Storm pulled a face.
"No, it isn't. You should actaully listen to the dribble coming from Zia and Maida's mouths before you dare say anything of this sort is absurd."

"Maybe so," said Jack, taking another swig of rum, "but I think I would know about my own flesh and blood. I think. The point is, how could I have had a child without knowing I have? I think it's a ludicris idea, really."
