Aksura lowered the telescope from her eye as the Sannin addressed her through the treeline.
"Always going on about things, aren't you old man?..." She said as she draw a kunai against his throat from behind. The Aksura in the treeline disappears in a poof of smoke. "Since you're so old I'll forgive your senileness in remembering that it was my teammates tha stole your food. I don't eat off the back of a cart, especially not that shark fin soup..."
She presses the blade closer to his throat, "I will not, however, forgive your instigations that I am some kind of whore... Not that it is any of your business but that was my finacee on the phone..."
She glares daggers at Tyson and Zanzu, "From the look of you two I'm guessing you're just giving up on this exam?...If so I'll just tell the HoKage that I was wrong about you two being able to be on a real squadron to go to the Demon Country..."

"So, was the soup good? I can still never get a straight answer from anyone." he didn't seem surprised at all. That ever present smile still sat on his face.
The man sighed discontently. It was always like this, no respect. "I'll have you know, you are not much younger than I am. What, ten years difference?" He moved his hand agaisnt the kunai as if to brush it away. "Now, these are the new outer mission chuunin?"

Zanzu frowned a bit at Aksura's comment then slowly got up to his feet and began walking away. Well, even more of a b***h today then usual...Must be ecstatic to see her old friend.

"Ohwell,"Tyson muttered as he got up. He walked in the direction opposite of Zanzu, Aca following closely. It wouldn't be the first or last disfunctional team he'd be on, and by the sounds of what Aksura said he might not be on it long, not that that really bothered him. He'd just spend his time with Tara or taking solo missions if it came down to it.

Aksura watched the pair walk their seperate ways. She lowered her kunai to her side then scratched her head with her free hand, she looked as if she was about to say something. But seeing Suwatti there she simply let out a "hrmph" then started to walk off herself, "Well that proves they're not ready.... How the hell did they become Chuunin..."
She looks back at Suwati then says, "As for you....Come with me..."

Zanzu could hear her smartass comment off in the distance just barely and simply raised up a hand while closing his index finger, ring finger, and pinky and pulling his thumb in so that only one finger remained facing Aksura. Smug b***h...shoulda left her to the Akatsuki bastards when I had the chance, see if I ever save her a** again. his mind continued off into a rant which become an incoherent jumble of curse words and random words.

((How Tyson spent the rest of the day...)) Tyson looked around as he walked out of the forest trying to decide what to do. "There's always helping at the academy, or maybe go watch a movie with Tara, or I could always spar with Kiba and get some practice in...." He sat on a stump to think for a bit. "Let's see... I'd say I've got about 8 hours to waste before it gets really dark, so I'll just do all three of those,"He said as he got up and walked towards the academy.
Tyson walked into the academy and on to the roof as he snuck towards a certain class on the three "fundamental" techniques. It was a first year class that he particularly enjoyed assisting the sensei to teach. He quickly henged into a copy of the sensei and dropped down as the sensei showed the students the clone jutsu, and began mimicking his movements. The sensei released the jutsu and started talking again and the henged Tyson continued to mimic his movements. Which obtained a grand reaction from the students as they tried not to laugh it didn't work as he turned towards the sensei and saw him staring at Tyson with a slight smirk. "Ah, it seems I've been caught,"He laughed as he released the jutsu. And assisted with the lesson on Henge jutsu, after the lesson the class split into partners and Tyson talked to the sensei. "You know they enjoy your little antics, they look forward to when you show up about as much as they look forward to the day when they become Genin. Four particularly have come to call you Ty-sensei and bug me to call and see if I can arrange some lessons with you, to teach them some things that we don't teach in the academy."The sensei said as he watched the students try to henge into their partners most failing miserably others pulling off slightly mistaken copies. "Sure just call me sometime and I'll arrange a time and place, but I need to figure out what's going on with Team Aksura first. But now I've got to go, see you all soon."Tyson said as he walked towards the exit then towards Kiba's house.
Tyson walked up to Kiba's house and knocked on the door. As Kiba opened it yelling and barking could be heard inside. "Sorry man can't spar today Hana's flipping out about something or other, though your welcome to join mom and I in the back yard for some Inuzuka style training." "I'm there, "Tyson said as he ran around the side of the house to the back yard dropping his sword as he started stretching to make sure he was ready. As Kiba and his mom showed up Tyson tossed Aca a soldier pill to make sure he had enough energy to keep up with the training. They went through all the basics and Tyson started studying the advanced Garoga technique as Kiba made he was positive on the elements needed to use it. After about two hours Kiba's mom said they were done for today and Tyson picked up his sword and headed how waving goodbye.
As he walked into the house he was greeted with the line, "You smell." To which he replied, "Yea, that's what happens when you train with the more agressive Taijutsu arts." As he headed for the shower, half an hour later he came out and got dressed, "come on we're going to see a movie." "Ok, which one?"Tara asked. "Don't know yet,"He replied as he walked out the door. They wound up just randomly picking a movie and buying tickets. As they sat down the movie started playing, they had through random selection decided to watch The Condemned, after the movie they walked home in the dark and went to sleep.

((Kiba: Since you did your post, you recieve .1 to your Ninjutsu stat for training. I updated it. Zanzu: You had ample time to post, seeing as you did not, you receive no bonus.)) (Flashback) Night fell and the wind grew stronger. Rain fell in torrents, odd for this time of the year. It was definitely a grim evening. Having a team leader quit a team and the Sannin being stuck with it doesn't help one's mood either. The man was sitting in his room as lightning flashed across it's walls.
"I really hope the power doesn't go out. I need to get to the last stage of this game..." As if Murphy himself heard, darkness filled the room. Lights were out, so was his game. It was just a night of multiple let downs. "You can come out now, it's not like I didn't notice you come in."
"So, you took the lead?" a feminine voice replied from behind a door. "That isn't like you. Did not your last team die horribly?"
"...depends on your definition of 'horrible.' So, did you come to shirk your duties on me like the Hokage and 'Little Miss' did?" Suwati's gaze was out the window. Rain pelted the side, the sound was dulling to the senses. s**t, he didn't need this, not now of all times. With a discontent sigh he tossed a glance back.
The woman was young, but most definitely mature. In the shadows, one could only make out her figure, almost that of an hour glass. She was definitely quite woman by that alone. The Sannin had seen more of her than most would see in their short life times. "Like I would do that to you, sweets." Her voiced seemed to hint at a smile.
"It's the demons, the biju, that worry me. Not for power, but their ability to control it." He thought of the kid in orange, now there was a problem actively happening. "We're 'lucky' to have so many of them, but I have to wonder to what end we are using these kids. They know little outside being ninja. Do we really give them choices on what they become? If I could, I'd change it all just to be a normal person. It's not all worth the pain." He gripped tightly, his fist slamming down on the bed he sat on the edge of.
The woman moved to sit behind him, her arm draped over his right shoulder. "Ahhh, sweets, then you never would have met me."...maybe it would have been better that way. His thoughts were sullen, though quickly tossed aside as the shadowy woman went for a kiss.(/end flashback) A sparrow seems to be fluttering about your window, carrying a small scroll. It's early morning, easily most of the town is still sleeping. The sun has yet to risen, though it wouldn't matter with this cloud cover. It's too bad, it would have been a perfect day otherwise. The scrolls contain a simple message; Quote: Come to the city gates. It's time to fix a few things. ~The Fifth

"Heh, the city gate eh. wonder what needs to be fixed."Tyson said as he stretched abit then got dressed and gathered up his equipment before heading out the door not bothering to leave a note, Tara was smart she'd figure out where he'd gone.

Zanzu sighed a bit and got up, yawning every few moments as he gathered his belongings. So early...what a waste of perfectly good sleep... He sighed a little and began to head towards the city gates. Hmm...almost everybody is still sleeping and the sun isn't even starting to come up, must be about 4 in the morning or so.
(Thats fine, perfectly reasonable. I've had the worst writers block in the world...I wasn't able to form more then a small paragraph before i would go completely blank. Thats a pathetic reason to not do it though *nods*)

The drizzle was still going with no signs of letting up. Lights began to flicker from houses, families seem to finally be starting to wake up from an uneventful evening. Puddles were everywhere, obviously causing minor water hazards. As the two genin make it to the gate, they quickly notice it's closed.
Suwati sits atop both doors, blissfully unaware of the rain as he munches on some doughnuts. With a mouthful we waves to the two. "Herrrro!"

Zanzu shook his head back and forth a little shaking the water from it, then lifted one hand up and waved at the man without saying a word. Wonder what he's doing here...but more importantly, why is the gate closed...I thought only such a thing would happen if the village were in danger of attack..

Tyson glanced up at the man acknowledging him with a slight nood, before looking at the gate. He shook his hair abit as he crouched down so that he could think, a trait that one could say was copied from a certain lazy Nara, though Shikamaru was much more intelligent than Tyson it actually did seem to help one's thought process, similar to sitting in a chair ackwardly(Shameless Death Note reference).

"Sho yur curd" his mouth was still full, one could wonder how the hell he fit so many in his mouth. He took a deep swallow. "As I was saying, so you could see the gate is closed." He made a gesture to the area blow him. There was a small package tied neatly at the base of the gate.
"So, heres the deal. You prove to me that you two can function as a team and I let you have one free day, no strings attached. I'll pay for your food, hell I'll make it myself, games and what ever else you can think of. However, the moment you two stop working together, you will forfeit the prize."
He grinned slightly, this was going to be fun. "Now, this is a little test I put together with my last team. You have until sundown to figure out the puzzle. If you open this bag, the test starts. There is one, very simple mind you, condition." He pulled a small rope, not three inches length, from behind him. "You will be tied together by the wrist for the entire challenge."
"So, before we begin, do you have any questions?"
