Charley SierraBT What's wrong with my P22? ETA: Aside from my funky serial # If you don't know, keep shooting and find out! Seriously everybody I've known to own one has had some small tragedy or another with theirs. I'm not thrilled with that kind of track record. I think it's just Walther being general failures with .22LR anyway, since their G22 is awful too! God, I hate the G22. I can't confidently say Walther has made a good handgun since the 70s. Haha.

SierraBT I read about the slide fracturing, but that only happens after a good 20k, right? No apparently there's a laundry list out there. That said, I heard that it's really only the generation one models that have these flaws, but I haven't heard anybody who has a generation 2 on how their pistol works. And Plate, I wouldn't quite go there, since the P99 is decent. Not my bag, but it's not a bad gun from what I hear.

Yes. Two that are hand-me-downs, and a pair that are mint collector pieces with sequential numbering, never fired.

Ruger MKII, Turkish Mauser, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Mosin Nagant 98/31, Savage .22, Remington 870, New England arms 20 gauge single barrel, aemi auto .22, Henry lever action .22, Colt 1851.
