wow i guess no did read it. esepecially you. i did not ASK PEOPLE for a website that has downloadable content for a licensed anime. i said that you don't have to down load or anything like that. all i was saying was that i knew of a site that has every gundam series with every episode. i didn't put the link because i wanted to find out if anyone on here was interested before i go and start giving the link.

zero, we did read your post. If you'll notice, Hoshi also mentioned that if you yourself post a link of that kind, you. Can. Be. Banned.

no i can't because YOU DON'T DOWNLAOD ANYTHING FROM THE WEBSITE. how are they going to ban me for something that is not against the rules. how is it against the rules if you don't download anything. if i were to get banned for posting that link then you might as well ban people who post a link to youtube because it it the same kind of thing. you see you don't download anything on youtube unless you choose to, which is the same concept as what i am suggesting. i have watched entire anime series on youtube including gundam seed destiny. so how is that any different that the site i want to post the link to.

I'm not an expert in this field, but from what I understand, even youtube does not allow entire showings of anything that is copyrighted or licensed...for example, I recently found a user who posted (in segments) and entire disney movie and people were leaving comments such as "Good luck in not getting removed for this..." and you didn't have to download those eaither...

Also, I was recently researching copyright laws online (for my own curiosity's sake) and I was given the impression that, technically, nothing that is copyrighted or legally owned by someone else can be entirely displayed for public viewing in any way without permission (even if s/he isn't making a profit off of it)...whether it has to be downloaded or not...(though many very minor cases are probably often ignored).

I, too, have seen at least one site that allows you to watch anime for free but for unlicensed anime... ones that are can only be viewed via payment/donations...if there are others that do allow you to watch copyrighted ones (and legally) for free...I haven't seen one...

then again...not an expert...so anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong...

I actually have a link on my laptop to a site where I can watch GW and other anime (licensed and not) for free, no downloading. That's how I caught up on the episodes I missed for lack of having the DVDs. 3nodding

However, in the spirit of the ToS, I shan't post it. whee

Considering your wariness of the ToS...I take it it's not legal... ??? *just curious*

It might not be. I don't know. I figure it's better to err on the side of caution, y'know? 3nodding

I'm rereading all the Manga since I don't own any of the epsiodes. I still love the Manga's versions.

I just completed my Memorial Day viewing of the whole series, just this past weekend (spent too much time horseback riding on actual Mem. Day to finish...)

Yup, I watch it all the way through at least once a year. smile

Every December I watch the entire series from start to finish and,on Christmas Eve, I watch Endless Waltz to get into the Christmas Spirit. And at random times throughout the rest of the year. Basically, whenever I'm on a Gundam kick since it's the only series I actually own. The only constant is the December binge. It's like a tradition for me.

Now that I have FINALLY graduated and will have some free time outside of work I really want to pull out my Gundam Wing DVDs again... I think it's been long enough that I won't be able to quote every single episode line for line like I used to... man I was a scary obsessed fan >.< I have really been wanting to get back to my fandom roots though, and I have been thinking back on Gundam Wing with fond memories so I shall be pulling it out and watching it soon I hope.

It's interesting to go back to Gundam Wing- the characters never get old, and to see the older anime's compared to the clean sleek ones. I still love Gundam Wing, and slip in a few episodes here and there. It's nice to know that others are not letting it die because it has become so quiet over the years... Wouldn't it be awesome if another ova or even a real actor series came out? One can dream...

Well I finally did it, I finally pulled out my Gundam Wing DVDs. Currently I am half way through episode one and smiling as I take this little walk down memory lane. I think it's kind of interesting that I can STILL quote most of the episode, I thought after approximately 6 years the series would be out of my system and "fresh and new" so to speak. However it looks as if I was more obsessed with it back in the day than I thought XD.

I find that even though the animation is a little on the old side, it's still quite beautiful. The cobonation of digital colouring with hand painted backgrounds is so unique too. I'm happy I finally had the time today to watch a little bit about it and hope to soon get through the series... if I am lucky by the end of the month.
