"And if you would like some help or compny, I''d be happy to stay around for alittle while. she said continueing down the hallway and around a corner.

Oh, if you don''t mind me asking, how long have you been in town? I haven''t seen you around here before...of course, I''m somewhat new around this town as well. Nitta-san sends me out for errands sometimes, and even now I''m not all familiar with every street. Do you know anyone else from around here? Or are you traveling through to another city? I''ve heard Tokyo is wonderful and...Oh my, I''m rambling again, aren''t I?" Yumea stopped talking for a moment and bluched slightly. "My mother used to say a Giesha is to only speak when appropriate, but I can''t help it sometimes...I''m curious about everything." -^^-;

"Yes, Tokyo is something to see at least once in a life time. To tell the truth, I'm looking for a space to breathe. I'm getting tired of being on the move. I'm just looking for Sanctuary."

She looked at the simple but comfy-looking little room, and she simplydropped her bag before sitting down to remove her boots.

"Hmm... In fact I've just dropped in from China maybe two days ago. I was studying Hapkido with ....friends of mine. But they're all out for a fight and in the end it all just looked the same. I'm always looking for new people and new places. I might even have a couple of stories for you, if you wanna sit down and drink with me. I'm out of business for a while and I could use some friendly company."

She just helped herself to putting the little kettle on. Then she went through her bag, putting two knives on the bed at her side.

"You see, I'm an artist too. Only, my art is dark and unspoken of. I'm not a bad person nor a murderer, because they told me in the army I would have the freaking absolution or whatever it's called.... Ha!! What a joke that was.... but my heart was black like a battle field at night. That's why I ditched them. I got other plans than serving them for eternity."

Her hand seized a picture, and she began looking at it, scrutinizing it like she tried to read fine prints. Finally, she showed it to Yumea. It was twin babies, a boy and a girl, cuddling each other being around four years old of age.

"Those are my little babies and I hope to get their custody one day. I need to settle down and think of a good plan. Just so you know that I'm not as strange and dangerous as I might seem.... or as they tell you I am."

"Hello Pixie-san! How have you been?" Nitta bowed. "Would you care for a cup of tea?"

"I'm well, thank you." Nitta handed a cup of tea to Pixie. "Would anyone else care for a cup of tea?"

Jade, you must be our new maiko . . . or giesha. How are you doing at your studies?

The painting is very beautiful Jade-san. Such pretty children" She said with a soft smile. "Oh yes, would youlike more tea?" she offered pouring another cup.'This is good practice, maybe I could sing for her later ^-^' she thought.

Jade sighed moderately, and placed her knives under the pillow. Looking back at Yumea, she had a sad smile as she took the picture back and looked at it again.

"The government took them away from me because they needed me to care exclusively about my orders. They have no idea how bad they wronged me. I have to find a way, legal or not, to get them back. I will not go back to the army. It scarred me to a point where I can't bite back with having to deal with the harshest consequences. Of course, maybe you're too young to know the pain and joy of giving birth.... and the horror of having your most cherished ones taken away from you, for a stupid question of duty..."

There she goes, thinking too hard again. Calm down, you stupid girl.... Yumea's got nothing to do with it. Just shut your big mouth. You don't know who they are. For all you know? They could be working for them.

"Enough of this... I'm gonna start going mad again. I'm here to relax. So tell me more about this place. For how long have you been a geisha? Did you ever have any problems? I might just offer my services as guardian."

She blew on the tea and sipped it quietly.
