Sammy snickered a bit. "I have failed you greatly, little brother," Sammy commented as she walked in, her arms folded behind her back. She seemed relatively level-headed today. "Poor you; no gal by your side, no?"

Hearing Sammy's voice, Cody blushed and turned around. "You weren't supposed to hear that. No one was, actually." He kinda smiled and returned Uxie before the pokemon could continue the argument. "What do you mean you've failed me?"

She let a small smile creep on to her face. "I thought I taught you how to properly flirt with a girl, but I guess I've failed. Oh well, it couldn't be helped..." she sighed, her shoulders going into a shrugging motion. She took a seat in one of the chairs, crossing her legs in a distinctly mature manner.

Cody chuckled lightly. "You taught me? About flirting? When was this?" He sat down on a couch across from her, folding his arms over his chest.

Sammy let one of her eye brows pop up. "I figured you learned by observation... Hmm... Oh well. Well, you SHOULD be taking lessons from me because, in case you haven't noticed, it seems I can have any man fall at my feet. Whether it involve battle or otherwise," she grinned mischeviously.

Cody raised an eyebrow back at her. "Oh really. Well, someone's definitely full of themself. I don't think I need to go to you when it comes to flirting if a guy just falls at your feet." He stuck his tongue out at her. "And about the 'ANY guy at your feet thing, we'll see about that."

Sammy rolled her eyes at him. "For the record, Cody, I'm not going to attempt to woe you in any way. I'm taken," she stated calmly, although she didn't exactly know if what she and Dark had between them was actually a "thing"...

Cody stood up and started walking slowly toward the hall. "I don't expect you to woe me at all. I know all about your thing with Dark, Sammy. Believe me. It's the reason I left in the first place. Over a year and you hand me that. Peace dude." And with that, he was gone.

Sammy raised another curious eye brow at him as he left. "...I do not understand," she muttered to herself, truly confused by Cody's reaction. Over a year of what? Of being big sister and little brother?

Sceptile came into the common room and made a left to head into the kitchen. He couldn't quite tell if he was hungry, thirsty, or neither, but he wanted to figure it out. He turned around to see Sammy sitting in a chair. He gave her a small wave and a smile and peered into the fridge to satisfy his craving for whatever. Grabbing three sodas and two containers of pudding, he made his way back into the common room and sat.

"Hey Adam," Sammy greeted with the tiniest of waves. "How was ya'll's adventures last night?" She looked very curious to the answer. She looked over at Sceptile. "Yep. Just a minute ago, but he went down the hall for some reason..."
