Will this group include Rocky style training montages?

Probably. I plan on having at least one major time skip, over which all characters will age a few years.
This will probably happen in conjunction with how the facility evolves. I plan on having three to four stages, so there may be four skips in all, whereupon after the skip, the newly upgraded facility will be put to use, and characters can be upgraded with new growth of their own.

So they start out as base humans? Time period? Setting? My interests have been piqued.

I already sent you the setting, but I'll post everything here for people to check out.

We will start out as either base humans, or any species with very low leveled technique/fighting styles. Think pupils, or people who are just emerging as warriors. My character, for instance, is going to be a low skilled version of my character in the tournament, around the time he is just beginning to learn his powers. For most humans, this would be just before adulthood springs up, or around the time their skills are their, but far from perfected.

The setting is on Gaia Prime, and in an undisclosed location within the mainland. The actual facility will be an old, old, old training facility that the group inherits, and will work towards slowly fixing up. It includes an old forge, a small fighting ground, and a small magic building for mages, or anyone with magical skill to use it towards lending their skills towards creating items. It's pretty much a low leveled guild that will have evolution stages, that will be fixed up as the story progresses.
The group will also have a few missions to go on, that anyone can join. The missions could be an attack on another guild, an invasion by feral gangs, or anything under the sun that could be considered an adventure.

Here is a link for the thread.

It does sound legit.

It reminds me of the manga fierach recently turned me on to.

Blood and Steel.

Anyone is welcome to hop in.

I'm going to make a simple application process, which will definitely involve submission of the profile. On the front page, I'll have the profiles posted with the character names, so we can see the progress of the people who are in the group.

It'll be cool when the ball gets rolling.

Tresondros Ecstuffuan
Blood and Steel.

Never heard of it. If you're looking for a good read after you finish that, I'd recommend Claymore, and even Abara.

Abara's storyline is confusing as all hell, but it has a good premise, fantastic art, and just bad a** flat period. Claymore is just amazing.

Yuuup. Really disappointed that they only made a certain amount of the Anime. Couldn't budget it anymore, or some s**t.
