Benjamin got up with Sophia, taking her hand and leading her inside, like he supposed she wanted. "So, do you think you're ready for your first day here?" he asked, smiling at her. She was already better off than he'd been on his first real day.

Sophia smiled and nodded to Benjamin, smiling. "Of course. I have you as a friend, so I think I'll be alright." she said, leaning her head against his shoulder as they walked.
Icarus was watching from around the corner, waiting until they were gone. Once they were, she sighed some and sat down on the bench. She sat there a while before seeing a bird land in front of her. A petty crow. She glanced at it and huffed. "What do you want, feather head?"

Benjamin smiled back at Sophia and swallowed as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "So, which way? I wouldn't want you to get lost trying to find your own room," he said teasingly. Though he really was a stickler for chivalry, which meant he would definitely have to escort her back to her room.

Sophia giggled and nodded some. She then led the Spaniard to her room. She stood there with him outside her door and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for escorting me, my brave Spaniard. I am in your debt." she said, smiling delicately and went into her room.

Benjamin touched his cheek as he headed back to his room. He was grinning pretty widely, and he headed to his room. Once inside, he leaned against his bed, staring at the painting he'd done for his class where it was leaning against the wall. He smiled, shaking his head.

Icarus had been sitting on that bench for a while. Sadly she'd become a new scarecrow as crows were sitting all over her. A few on her head, many lined on ehr shoulders and back. And even some on the bench she sat on. She then looked to the birds and growled a little. "As I said, what do you idiot birds want?!" They just sat there.

Then one bird swooped down low and landed a few feet down the bench from Icarus, scaring off the crows. The eagle lifted its majestic head and stepped closer to Icarus, nudging her knee with his beak and opening it to caw quietly at her.

Icarus was a bit startled when the giant eagle came out of nowhere and the crows took off and a few yanking at her braid in fright. She then watched as the eagle came over to her and nudged her knee and cooed at her. She gently pet the giant bird and smiled some. "Now aren't you interesting. You're the biggest bird I've ever seen." she said softly, running her fingers over the sleek brown feathers.

The bird cawed and closed its eyes as she ran her fingers down its feathers. He leaned into her hand, lowering his head so she could pet it.

Icarus smiled more and pet the eagle more. She then had an idea. She got up and hopped onto the back of the eagle. "Let's go for a fly!" she said, looking down at the eagle.

The eagle took off quickly, and floated into the night sky, cawing happily as it flew through the skies. It did a barrel roll at some point, circling his wings around his back and Icarus to keep her from flying off his back.

Icarus clung to the eagle, laughing as they flew through the night air. She hung on tight when the bird did a barrel roll, but she enjoyed it to no end! This was the best night she had ever had. She soon took off one of her oversized belts and put it around the eagle's neck to give her something to hang onto better and not tug out any of those lovely feathers.

The eagle finally landed on the edge of a cliff, taking steps into a giant cave in the depths of the mountain. It ruffled his feathers and let Icarus down from his back, cawing at her and looking around the cave.

Icarus slid off the eagle and started looking around the cave. "Wow. So this is where you live? I guess the trees aren't big enough... But this is a pretty cool place." she said, walking around. She soon accidentally kicked a bone from one of the eagle's kills. She then got an idea. "I could make a whistle out of this! Then whenever I want a ride or I'm lonely I can call for you. Does that sound alright?" she asked, looking to the magnificent bird. She didn't have the heart to imprison such a wild and free heart.

The bird cooed softly and nuzzled against Icarus' leg, approving of the whistle. There was a soft sound from within the cave, and a smaller eagle padded out, cawing at the one with Icarus. He leaped over and nipped at his sibling, sending them back into their nest.
