"Look," Jethrow said, coming to stand beside the nursing student who flinched away. "You need to get rid of blood, I need blood to survive. This way, I don't have to suck down fake blood or hunt down people, you don't die from drowning in your blood, and you don't have to get pricked with needles four times a day. And you can eat whatever the hell you want. It won't hurt for long, and you'll fall right to sleep after."

Icarus listened to Jethrow as much as she could before she coughed again. "F-Fine... J-Just make it quick... And don't turn me into a vampire. Or I will kill you." she said with a pained chuckle before coughing again.

Jethrow rolled his eyes, resisting the heavy urge to correct her on how vampires were made. Instead, he got rid of her bandage and sunk his fangs into her neck again, this time being careful to make sure that he didn't hit a major vein. When he was done, he pulled back, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and letting the nursing student bandage Icarus up again. "You okay?" she asked softly, checking her and noting that no more vessels were bursting.

Icarus winced a little as Jethrow bit her neck again. But as he drank, she felt her headache ease and her eye had stopped hurting. She gave a slight nod before groaning a little. "I want a bed..."

"Well, you can go to your bedroom since it looks like your vitals are fine..." She bit her lip, trying to come up with the best idea for how to get her to bed. Jethrow rolled his eyes and pushed the nursing student to the side, picking up Icarus. "Where do I go?" he asked, and the principal told him the room number to take her to.

Icarus tried protesting but she was tired. Jethrow had been right. That drain had taken a lot out of her besides blood. She eventually quit her belly aching and just let the vampire carry her to her room. Once there, she grumbled a little, patting Jethrow's chest. "Alright. Put me down. I can go from here." she grumbled, rifling around her pockets for her keys.

Jethrow went ahead and let Icarus down. "Seeya," he said, heading down the hallway and heading to his own room.
Meanwhile, the people in the dining hall were being let out finally, after being checked on and questioned. Benjamin was hovering around the doors, waiting for Sophia to come out.

Icarus managed to unlock her door and get to her bed. She yawned and flopped down onto the mattress and sighed contently. It was so much softer than she remembered. Maybe that's just because she was tired... But it didn't take her long to fall asleep.
Sophia soon exited the room, safe and sound. She went to Benjamin and nestled into his arms, still shaken by the experience. "I'd like not to do that again." she mumbled.

Benjamin smiled a little and hugged Sophia back, a little surprised. "Let's put some distance between this room and us," he said. He was worried about Icarus, though, and it showed on his face as he took Sophia's hand and started to lead her from the room.

Sophia took his hand and soon stopped him when they had rounded a corner. "Benjamin. Don't worry about me. Go check on your little nightingale." she said with a smile. She then kissed his cheek before going to her own room.

Benjamin watched as Sophia left, then touched his cheek softly with a smile. Then he headed to Icarus' room. He knocked gently, before opening the door. He was really getting bad about waiting. "You awake?"

Icarus was passed out in her bed, not even hearing Benjamin come in. The black dragon peeked out of the basket where he slept with the white one. The reptile yawned and climbed out, going to Benjamin and murring.

Benjamin smiled and patted the creature on the head, heading over to Icarus' bed. He sighed in relief to see that she was alive, and looking a lot better than she did when she'd been taken from the dining hall. He tucked her blanket around her closer, and left the room, reassured that she was alive and well.

The reptile murred and crawled back into its basket with its mate.
Icarus slept for a healthy while before waking, yawning. She got up and headed out of her room and to the dining hall. She felt a little drained so she thought food would help. Maybe.

Benjamin was sitting in his bedroom, doing homework and wondering about Icarus and Sophia. They were so very different....
Jethrow, on the other hand, was in the dining hall snacking. He was always hungry for food after drinking blood.
