Actually I take that back. I gave you the job of overseeing Profile Requests since you're one of our most active crew and can get to them quicker.

@hugin: You're in charge of custom skill and custom weapons man. Good luck. I'll be watching over your decisions for a few weeks to see how you do.

Alright, I'm fine with that.

Good deal. So how's the game coming along?

Dat Penance, man. Dat Penance.

There are two things in life that I hate most. One is waiting, and the other is being rushed. >.>

I've been thinking of the fighting game recently, about its story since I imagine that is going to be the selling point of this game. What separates it from the others. The only problem is that as I make the story it just seems to get darker and darker. lol I'm afraid just conversation and background alone will push it to an M rating. I was thinking of trying to pull it back, but then again thats starting to become its theme. I wanted there to be a lot of dub step/fast techno music with flashy effects and dark-cast characters because I wanted the game to have a dirty, sucker-punch, goth-punk feel to it. They aren't the multi-colored, happy-go-lucky stereotype heroes or villains you see in games like street fighter or tekken. Instead its like everyone is just various shades of dark. I kinda like it.

That's why Fenrir is the protagonist, not main hero, because we both know he's the farthest thing from a hero.

Even Achilles has his flaws. XD Do we even have an actual hero? I think Hiro would be the closest thing we ever come to, which is interesting considering he's also the main rival/antagonist of the series. That is, unless you have someone else in mind?

Well think about it, an antagonist is just somebody that drives a bad situation for the protagonist. If the protagonist is a villian then the antagonist would be, obviously, a "hero".

Isn't he? He disrespected every martial artist in their own dojo, and when they started to fight him his retaliation was forming a gang. There is no trace of heroism in his history.

Hmm...I guess it kinda depends on how you look at him. He isn't a hero, but an anti-hero. He is a person who performs heroic deeds but they all usually come from a self-driven sense of gain from the situation, or with the exception that for every good they do there is some bad they do as well. Kinda like Vegeta, Wolverine, Sesshomaru, or Riddick, who are all prime examples of anti-heroes.

But you bring up a good point. I was going to have Fenrir show his heroic side through how he helps those around him, thus adding to his charisma as a leader while gaining the trust of his followers, but maybe I should give him a deeper goal aside from revenge against those that want to ******** with him or otherwise taking over the school.

Deeper goals are always good. Now if you'll excuse me, I must pass out for a little while.

AND NOW

It's time to start the last tier of MMA. Now the question is... and this is a serious question... how do I make it lethal? What do I need to do to drive the point home that this is serious s**t?

Advice, plz.

Thats a tough one man. Try to look at the other styles for examples, would be my best advice, and make something of your own.
