Sophia stayed with Benjamin, wondering what the men were doing.
Sadly Icarus had many faults. One of them was being more heroic than she should be. As she heard them speak, her eyes widened. Haphazardly injecting things into students who didn't know what was going on? Not in her school. Not in hell. So Icarus carefully slipped her knife around one of the men's ankles and sliced it wide open before slipping back under the table. She then put her boots on the bottom of the table and, balancing on her hands, launched it onto the men, hoping to distract them.

Benjamin watched carefully as one of the men started to approach a nearby table before shouting out in pain and collapsing to the ground, clutching his bleeding ankle. As soon as the table was launched at them, the leader leaped aside. "That's her! Get her!" he shouted. After chasing Icarus around for a bit, one of the men threw his needle, and it buried itself in her arm just as the doors of the dining hall were flung open by a squad of police.

Icarus was good at keeping away, but she hadn't expected good aim. She yelled in pain, gripping her arm as the needle buried itself in her flesh, dosing her with whatever its contents was. She panted hard, sliding down the wall as the police arrived. She was exhausted from running and maybe the effects from whatever she had just been injected with. But the girl managed to get up and went over to the man and delivered a swift kick to his nuts then grabbed him by his cloak. "What... was in that needle.." she panted, starting to feel winded and weak.

He laughed through his pain and shook his head. "Blood multipliers," he informed her, before a police man came over and took him away. The principal, the nursing student, and Jethrow came over. The nursing student put her hand on Icarus' arm and tugged the broken tip of the needle out of Icarus' arm. "What did he say it was?" she asked, looking Icarus in the eye. Just a couple feet away, the principal and Jethrow were whispering urgently.

Icarus let the girl pull the needle out of her arm and she sighed a little. "Blood multipliers..." she muttered before starting to cough. She covered her mouth, coughing some before pulling it away, only to find blood splattered on her hand. It seemed, jsut as her fellow named in Greek mythology: As Icarus was destined to drown in the sea, this girl was fated to drown in her own blood.

The girl looked worriedly over to the principal, and shook her head, as if she knew what they were thinking. Jethrow nodded, and raised his eyebrows. "No way. Dangerous," she said firmly. "Two birds, one stone," Jethrow retorted. The principal frowned and ran his fingers through his hair. "All of us to my office. Now," the principal said, taking Jethrow by the scruff of his neck and dragging him away while the nursing student put her hand on Icarus' back, muttering about how stupid and thirsty Jethrow was.

Icarus coughed up some more blood before following the principal and Jethrow. She wondered what was going to happen. What was going on between everyone? The girl could only cough and hack up more blood as it invaded her lungs. She was starting to get such a headache as well. And on top of all this, she was getting dizzy. Icarus just wanted to lay down, maybe sleep. Why was this happening to her?

When they were all seated in the principal's office, the principal looked to the nursing student. "Options?" The girl looked down at where Icarus was still coughing up blood. "There a few non drastic measures. We can drain your blood on a daily basis to make sure you don't drown. You would probably have to come in before and after school every day, though. We could also administer you blood thinners to keep you from clotting. They would be like a daily supplement. But we'd have to filter your blood every weekend. Also, you're going to have to cut back on iron enriched food."
"Or, my idea," Jethrow said, glaring at the nursing student, who glared back.

Icarus sat in a chair as they talked, getting a small bucket where she could cough blood into. When Jethrow spoke, she looked to him. "And what the hell is his idea?" she wheezed. The blood was already working its way deeper into her system, making blood swell. She got a pain in her eye as a blood vessel burst, dying her once white sclera red.

"You're about to find out," he said as her eye turned red. The girl was leaning over her, trying to figure out what she could do when she was pushed away. Jethrow leaned down and a set of fangs elongated in his mouth before he bit down on Icarus' neck. He almost gagged, though, when he realized that when they said blood multipliers, they meant rabbit blood multipliers.

Icarus gasped and cried out in pain as Jethrow bit her neck. She then kicked him off, hearing him gag a little. "W-What the hell was that!? That hurt you a**!" she yelled, gripping the bite which was now gushing from all the extra blood.

The nursing student shoved the vampire away, leaning down and trying to stop the bleeding. "His plan is that he's a vampire and he would get rid of your extra blood," she said bitterly. The principal sighed and shook his head. "Jethrow, you explain your plan and then you act, not the other way around."

Icarus panted as the rapid pace she was losing blood started to set in. She was feeling woozy and tired. Her head was spinning so bad she was starting to lose sense of direction. That and her headache was building again as her wound began to clot.

The nursing student grabbed a wad of tissues and put them against the wound on Icarus' neck, stopping the bleeding. "Somebody get me a stake," she muttered angrily, producing a set of bandages from her pocket and starting to wrap up the wound on Icarus' neck. "Vampires suck."
Jethrow licked his bloody lips, a small smirk on his face. "Well, if you'd rather I go hunting in town, that's fine."[/b[ He shrugged and crossed his arms.

Icarus laughed a little dryly in her delirium. "Guess... I can't die from blood loss now." she said, coughing a little. A trickle of blood ran from the corner of her mouth and down her chin as another vessel in her eye burst, turning it a darker red.
