(((OOC: I am the post ninja. That and lazy... and ouchy... -giggles- Merry Christmas guys! -hugs-)))
"I promised not to let you drown." Akihiko whispered softly, reaching around Izzy and turning off the water. He moved then, gracefully as usual, and nabbed a towel from the rack just outside the shower. With a smile, he musician plopped it on Izzy's head and began to gently dry the shorter man's hair.
"Don't thank me." he said, the seriousness in the young tiger's voice evident even as the drip-drip-drip of the faucet in the background cut through his words. "It makes me feel as if I'm doing this for my benefit and not yours." Narcissus said, pulling the towel off Izzy's head and wrapping it warmly around his partner's frame. "I care about you. It's only right I do things like this, ne?" he asked before grabbing his own towel.
In seconds the towel was around his owl waist and Akihiko was helping Izzy out of the shower. "If you like the smell of vanilla on me... just wait until you smell pancakes too." the musician teased, holding a hand out for Lucky to take. "Ikimasho?"
(((OOC; But yes I agree... speeding things back to Japan would be best. Mainly because I want Koy and Izzy to spend Christmas Eve at Koy's... and of course so Michi and Yuuji and Nezumi can have an interesting homestyle Christmas, hehehe. Of course there is the little matter of the media... but I was thinking to avoid that, the boys go home under cover of darkness and a mini blizzard while MeKa keeps up the pretense that Narcissus is still stateside.)))

That morning's breakfast went surprisingly well. Akihiko cooked pancakes, refusing the notion that he should be wearing an apron. The musician still hated the idea of him performing a more womanly role in his and Izzy's relationship... especially since it was such a reversal with the two in bed. However, even Narcissus couldn't deny the fact that he could cook, very very well, and Izzy's food was, as usual, hardly edible.
The couple had eaten in peace, because it seemed that Michi was rather busy with vocal work at MeKa. Narcissus was tempted to call his friend to find out how things were going, but eventually gave up the idea when it was suggested that disturbing or distracting him would hardly be productive.
Still, Tanaka was new to the game... he'd need help... and of course Izzy was far from happy to learn that Nezumi was heading up the work with Michi at this point.
Perhaps the oddest thing during breakfast however, had been the fact that Yuuji, who had informed the duo as to where Michi was in the first place, had suggested that they return to Japan ASAP. Akihiko had argued against the idea, saying that Izzy would no doubt be in danger with as much as his popularity had grown. However... Yuuji had easily won the argument alerting the Ohayou boys that a blizzard was expected to form over the next few days and then hit Japan hard. If they wanted to be in Japan for Christmas... well... they had to leave that very afternoon. He neglected to go over the sudden media frenzy which was swirling with Narcissus at it's epicenter, thinking that the two men needed a break for once from the insanity of the industry. Thus, Takagi suggested they charter a plane in secret from LAX and fly back to Japan, arriving just before the blizzard. In Yuuji's mind, that would deter any story seekers, especially if no one knew they were returning. It would, of course, force MeKa to lie to the media, assuring them that Narcissus and Izzy were still in the Lucky compound. But if it meant getting ALL of Ohayou's boys, Michi and Nezumi included, back to Japan before the storm hit without the media's knowledge... well... it would be well worth it.
Thus, Yuuji had gone to make the proper arrangements for the group to return to Japan, while Akihiko was washing the dishes from breakfast...
"Well, at least we'll be spending Christmas at my place together." the young tiger was saying, his hands in the sink, scrubbing syrup off a plate. "But isn't it all rather sudden? I mean... I still think you'd be safer here, Ruki..."

Sometimes Izzy just had to keep his lips to the coffee mug just not to have an amused look on his face. While Narcissus was thinking those thoughts, Izzy was enjoying the view of his lover in an apron. At this moment, he did think that Narcissus was the 'woman' of their relationship. God knows they didn't want him cooking even if he had a kindle of recipes now. But it still amused him.
However in the bedroom it was a total different story....Izzy would never claim being the 'man' there. But in this relationship, it was the way things needed to be. Akihiko needed to be dominate there...and Izzy, always preferred to be in a more submissive role most of the time. Well maybe he had change a little bit, he sometimes took the lead but always let it go to Akihiko in the end. Yes, it was a natural pairing of needs and desires.
Izzy was glad that Tanaka-kun was off to MeKA to work on his music. That was important especially when things were rather awkward in the industry at the moment. Although he had no idea of Michi's late night escapade with the man who was giving them their itinerary. If he had only known his jaw might have dropped.
While things were rushed, he also wasn't certain of going back to Japan. However, he did make a promise to Akihiko. "It is, but...I made a promise and I will be with you." he answered with a tilt of his head and a gentle smile. He probably would be safer here, but what could he do. He didn't want to leave Akihiko alone in Japan without him.
"Do you want me to stay here? You said you needed me there with you. And I do want to be with you for Christmas." he said as he sipped his coffee and smiled again as Akihiko washed dishes. He could have put them in the dishwasher...but Izzy didn't say a word. This would be a once in a life time to see the superstar...cleaning the kitchen.
"Oh, Did you see that new photo on your phone? Shou sent you a picture of him and Ko again. You know I think that child likes you." he laughed as he set down his cup. "We'll have to decorate the tree really quick when we get home. You know, maybe we should stay here, why not have a green Christmas rather than one in a blizzard? Is your house stocked up enough if we get snowed in?"

"Of course I want you with me." Akihiko replied, placing a plate in the dish drainer of the other sink. He took up the second plate and began to scrub it as well.
After all, it was something he did at his own home... why would it be odd or awkward for him to do it here? He had a dishwasher, but usually he just used it for pots and pans and washed the plates himself. Then again... he had always cooked for one in the past...
"I won't feel like you're safe if I can't see you." the musician said, looking over his shoulder to his partner. "And don't worry... my place is well stocked. Even if we get snowed in for a week, we shouldn't run out of anything. Plus, I have a back-up generator, so if there's no electricity, we can use it to cook meals, use the bathroom, you know the basic things." smirking, the young tiger couldn't help but laugh. "And just think, to conserve the generator, we can curl up in front of the fireplace for warmth if we have to. I promise... your toes won't feel a single cold n**, let alone a blizzard's wrath."
Turning back to the dishes however, Akihiko couldn't help but sigh. "What I'm worried about is getting home after the blizzard... Using the coming storm is the perfect time to get us both back into the country and avoid Izo's spying eyes. And..." but whatever Narcissus had been about to say slipped from his mind on the news that Shou had sent him a photo.
Drying his hands off on a towel, Akihiko moved back to the table and sat beside Izzy, who had his phone in hand. The musician's lithe fingers plucked it away and looked at the adorable image.
"Kids shouldn't like me." the young man teased, setting the phone down. "Besides, I think he's just infatuated with his pancakes, whereas it seem Shou-kun is obsessed with said nephew."
It was cute though... even Akihiko couldn't deny that. He had no idea what he'd be like if faced with a kid...

"You know you won't be able to keep me with you 24/7 once you get back into shape for touring." he said with a bit of laughter on his breath. Although he understood why Akihiko said it. At times, even Izzy didn't want to be away to long from his lover. He worried too in more ways than one.
"I guess trying to get in without Matsumoto-san knowing would be the best thing. But...mm...do you think that a limo will be able to get us to your place during a blizzard? I'm kind of worried about the plane landing if there is one. I mean realistically no pilot would be foolish enough to land in a storm like that at Narita or Hanada. We'd end up in South Korea or something." he admited as he finished his cup of coffee.
But then Akihiko comment totally distracted Izzy, "Oh and why not. You're perfectly capable of being a nice guy. And Ko is adorable. Look at that face. Although that blond...can it really be that Shou's line are all blond like that? Wow. He has to be dying it...seriously. Yes, I think it started with the pancakes and then you said he could call you Anii-san. That was all you." He poked at Akihiko with a finger and grinned. "And it's a good thing for Shou to be interested in his nephew. The man needs an outlet for his energy."

Akihiko frowned, "Well, provided we land before the blizzard hits, no one would brave those elements to see some no-name-plane land. Especially if word is spread by MeKa that we're still here."
Thankfully he hadn't put his coffee cup in the sink yet, mainly because he had refilled it only a few moments before doing the dishes. Narcissus picked up the hot beverage and took a few sips.
"Besides... LA isn't... Christmas-y." the musician spoke honestly. "I mean, it's not even cold! And... being snowed in would be the perfect time for us to just... relax." he smirked suddenly. "AND... I can have Yuuji pick up the present I had made for you before we leave so that you can open your birthday present when we get to my place."
Reaching over, Akihiko intended to pull Izzy in for a hug but... he was too distracted by the man's words. Sighing, he shook his head. "Yeah, you're probably right. But what was I supposed to say? I mean, he's a little kid..."

"LA is plenty Christmas-y for me." answered the manager as he looked at his empty cup and then decide another hot cupful would be just wonderful. He hated being cold and the idea of going home to a Blizzard from the warmth of LA left much to be desired. So he got up and poured another full cup before returning to his set beside Akihiko. "I don't mind it warm. You know I hate being cold. I'd could live without snow. Santa can put some wheels on his sleigh." he admitted as he sipped on his cup. "So...are you going to promise to keep me all bundled up and warm if we go back?"
"Wait a Birthday present? Oh no! Christmas is soon too? I've not had time to shop at all since all this crap has been happening. Where did you get the time to pick out anything?!" he peered over at his partner wondering when the man had been so devious. When did he slip out and score presents? Izzy was going to have to figure out something. But obviously if it was building to blizzard like conditions in Japan, he'd not be able to shop there! Oh good grief! He really did wait till the last minute but that wasn't his fault!
Izzy would have enjoyed that hug too had Akihiko not been distracted by their conversation. "You did exactly the right thing, so don't fret over it. I'm proud of you for handling the situation so well. And having one little boy liking you is a good thing you know. Gives you a better image and you could use some normal interactions with people. I can't imagine how Shou is handling parenting to be honest. He's...mm...." Izzy looked down into his mug really hoping that Shou's mercurial personality could focus long enough to be a good parent. Well, Izzy knew that when push came to shove, Shou was reliable but he also had see the...insanity. Maybe that was just because of the tsunami but he wasn't sure. Shou wasn't...normal.
"I'm sure that being a parent is a challenge to Shou. Looks like that boy is a ball of energy." he grinned at his star and then said, "Just like you!" Then he looked down at the little image of Ko and his smiles softened, "I think that if you meet him you should just be yourself. You do better when you don't think to hard about things." He leaned over and kissed Akihiko lightly on the lips.
"Mm...should go pack now?"

Nezumi sat listlessly on the edge of his hotel bed, a dry, red rose twirling about in his fingers. It was sad, he thought, that he still clung to something so...emotional? No...more like delusional. Pitiful, at best. What really got him, though, was that he just could not bring himself to toss the preserved flower away, even though it only served to remind him of pain, bitterness, and all the many crushed hopes and dreams of his life.
Ok, so maybe he was being a bit over dramatic, but it really was the same story every time! His heart all aflutter and hopeful, only to be swatted down like an irritating fly by the one he was so enamored with.
With a sigh, the mousy manager tossed the rose into his packed suitcase and closed the luggage up. It would be time to go soon. Home. Japan. Perhaps he could find a little more peace and comfort there. At least he still had a job...and a friendly star. One he would absolutely, positively NOT develop any kind of attraction to in any way, shape, fashion, or form. Not after the pain of Chiyou...and then his boss, Hiroki. He'd learned his lesson, getting that badly burned.
And yet...he still carried that rose...

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SHOU No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
Beautiful Dreamer
Morning...Sunshine glistening on the newly fallen snow. It was so brief that bright moment because off in the distance the warning of gray spread its billowing arms across the stretches of blue.
These sorts of moment inspired the mercurial star as he sat on the deck just outside their private suite. It was enclosed by glass thus the warmth of the sun kept the wood and the mask upon his face warm The star couldn't help but yawn in pleasure as he penned out his latest tune.
While Shou didn't know it, it was exactly as Izo said...Shou did write more hits over the holidays if left to his own devices. But today, at Shou's feet was a small boy. Little Ko was wide awake and playing with a bag of Legos that the Onsen staff delivered. Shou smiled as the child was so intent on making a space ship out of all those pieces.
As Shou sat there and sipped on hot chai with cream, he sighed just a little. He could have imagined that Jun might have found so much pleasure in Ko. He remembered times they had thought about kids maybe it was more in a joking manner but he had suspected that Jun wished to be a parent. Even if Shou could never even conceive of that...until now. Well now, sort of had been forced on the wild star but it was his nephew...he wouldn't abandon him.
No, it was more like Jun had abandoned him. It hurt to think that the moment he had thought there would have been some joy from his return from death's door only to be met by...
That was when Shou stopped and his pencil lead snapped! Taking a breath he pushed the pencil to the side and looked out over the mountains. Where was Izzy? Right now, he could use the manager at his side. Telling him that everything would be perfectly fine...if they just worked together.
Ah, and maybe that was the difference between Naoko and Izzy. Izzy was stable...well no he had his moments of tears and fears but when push came to shove, the small manager was a survivor. Narcissus was a lucky man. And Shou envied him. Nothing in his world was stable not even himself. Although he had to be the better man, for Ko's sake.
And while he thought about it...what of Naoko...Yes, for some reason, he even had to be the better man for his own band mate. Such a sweet young man but found trouble faster than a magnet to metal. Taking him to the onsen probably the best thing Shou could do for the man. Get him out of the element and hopefully, this time with Ko would settle Naoko's senses to something more concrete.
Although, that didn't help the star's own personal issues. Sometimes he...just wished that he didn't have to bear so many burdens. And reality was that he decided to give up on love and relationships to stem the flow of pain that had occurred from Jun's actions. It was one area he could control....right? Of course he was right! He'd make it right.
Drama...No, he couldn't have drama . He wouldn't abide by it. He didn't want that for Ko. Well, in all actuality, he didn't want it for himself but Ko was a good excuse that he would brandish like a flame to any potential suitors now.
And then there was his own personal trauma from the days in Hawaii. He barely remembered how frantic he had been on that boat until Izzy covered his face. Thank the god above that Izzy was not the type to reveal what he knew. Thank the heavens for the small manager's tolerance for his boughts of...insanity.
But there were times he blanked out when things were their worst and when he woke again, Izzy seemed almost serene rather than fearful. Shou was thankful for that too. He didn't want to hurt him...Those nights he slept by Izzy's side had calmed him and such temptations...That too...well he had kept reigned in or so he thought.
However, his mind was brought back to his pencil and he picked up a new one out of the 5 that lay to the side. Several had broken tips already and soon he'd need to get them sharpened. He glanced down and grinned at Ko's progress with all the legos although he wondered if that was a space ship or an odd boat he was building. And while he though about that, he realized that Naoko probably was still snoozing. It was good to let the young man sleep.
Shou wondered if Ryuukaze was doing ok without Naoko for Xmas. Should Shou have felt guilty? Maybe for a moment that pinged within but seriously, he was the band's vocalist and leader...not a part of their personal relationship. That was their choice now wasn't it? Although, in this palatial suite, Ryuukaze could have probably joined them here.
