The next stop on Decran’s list, while not as fruitful as the first two, wasn’t a complete and total loss. Paper ghosts littered the trees (hung by a string of something that was almost nearly invisible and caught any light that hit it) and standing in the middle of the trees was a nightmare dressed as a ghost. “Pick whichever one you fancy.” Decran glanced around, eyeing each of the paper ghosts carefully. All of them had different faces and the one that caught his eye the most was a kissy face one. He tilted his head as he reached up and cut the string with his claws and claimed his treat.
Syra’s next stop in her trick or treating adventures was a friend’s. She greeted her friend’s parents, smiled and gratefully took the caramel apple that was offered to her. Just as she turned to leave, though, she heard her name called. “Syra, dear? Wait just a moment.” Syra turned and moved back towards the house as her friend’s mom moved just inside the door. “Here, this is for you. Cecilia bought plushies for all her friends if they came by. She said this one was for you.” Syra grinned as she was handed a small, green and blue, nezubat plushie.
Silent of r a moment Sivar thought hard before turning to the attendant watch the gates asking if the seen a real Freshling other than himself. Luckily the attendant did she her and pointed them to the direction of the dorm. She must have gone home. Racing to catch up the two bolted down the path straight for home.
Cosette hadn't gotten far. Walking at a slow pace do to their crying she was so absorbed in her sadness to even realize the two catch up.
Sivar: "Cosette!!! Wait up!"
Cosette was caught off guard and quickly went to wipe the tears. "I'm sorry Cosette." I'm sorry I acted this way. I was just caught up in how I was feeling I didn't realize how I was affecting you. Can you forgive me. The girl pondering for a moment continued to wipe her eyes somewhat embarrassed it had gotten to this point. Fully she weeped a yeah.
Sivar: "Come on let's go home. Taking the girl in hand Sivar Hugged Cosette hoping that this would sooth the sorrow he had caused her through the evening.
Okay, now he wasn't even getting CANDY from the nightmares who were giving it out. His last 'donation' had been some sort of weird turnip thing. It had been carved like a pumpkin and the inside of it was glowing. The glow didn't even go out when he blew in it. It was. . .kind of cool, but he had come out here for candy for pete's sake. Did nobody get that message.
Hikito pouted, starting to get rather grumpy with this whole holiday. He could see other freshlings getting stashes of the good stuff, but he was stuck with getting all the bad candies and mean things. Maybe he should just start saying "Treat or Treat" instead of the "Trick or Treat." People were taking the trick part way too seriously!

It looked like there were still a few stalls that were open in the games area, and their prizes didn't look like stale candy or anything either! Elliah, head now back in the here and now, made a beeline for one of the open booths. The only one that didn't have anyone playing it currently was a ring toss game.
A few minutes later and she'd won herself a cute little pumpkin bracelet. It wasn't candy, but she could always go out later and buy some to celebrate with. Not to mention her roommate had been showing off her massive stash. The bapho was sure she wouldn't notice a couple missing pieces.

Oh gosh! They only had enough time for about three more stops at this point. This was not cool! There were still so many candies out there and so little time. Hailey was in more of a rush at this point, having hold of Malachi's hand once more and dragging him along with her to the next stop, only letting go as they arrived at the next stop. "Trick or Treat!" she shouted out for the both of them.... for the first time this entire time as she went to candy dive.
Malachi didn't feel that sense of urgency that Hailey did as he was just enjoying his time with her.... But he did understand he want to rush. She was a hoarder after all, and goodness... she was never one to restrain herself. Giggling to himself as she shouted, though wincing since it was practically in his ear, he dipped his hand in the bucket, too.
As she pulled her hand out, Hailey squealed in excitement! "SUGAR SKULL! AHHHH! This. Thing. Is. AWESOME!" She held it out to show him, dancing around excitedly. Okay... This was really stinkin' exciting!
Malachi was somewhat startled as Hailey screamed... in his ear... again... This was starting to get a little painful, here. But he was also really happy when he looked to find that he had gotten a chocolate bat!... though he wasn't sure if he felt like he could eat it since he had become so fond of bats... Drat.

Man. It was getting later and later. It was kind of a bummer that there was a curfew like this, but ah well. Whatever, dude. This was still a total blast and he was gonna get a little loot... even if it wasn't much! A little free candy beats none at all! Dodger grinned at his next stop, keeping a distance as some little Freshlings finished up before him. "Damn... kids are way cuter when they do this." he commented to himself with a smirk. Stepping up after the kids had gone, he shouted out "Trick or Treat!" again, before chancing his candy grab.
"Huh.." Dodger said with a slight disappointed tone for a moment, before perking up. He may have gotten some old candies, but they usually still tasted okay. Most of the time. Smirking, he plunked them into the bucket one at a time before peering around then looking down. He felt something tugging on his tail. Giving a weird look, he cocked his head some, then laughed as he spied a Nuzbat clinging to the fur of his tail. "Dude.. You're a weird little critter. My sort of animal!" Trying his best not to wag his tail, he carefully moved it so it was chillin' out in his chest fluff. "There!" he said, wagging his tail. He wondered how Kabosu and Pip would feel about company.
Pfft. Girls. Spoilsports. But that was okay. He could probably make her super huffy later. He was already succeeding in it! "Deal!" Without waiting for her reply, he looped his arm around hers and lead her along to the next cluster of adults. He ignored her protests. From this angle, he could see how her third eye, still closed, bulged out from her forehead. It was so cute! Cuter than the rest of her, anyway. So it was definitely an eye there, unless she was supposed to be a monster princess or something. Which considering the sequins and the glitter? Unlikely.
"Come on, these people look like soft touches." He straightened his voice. "Trick or treat!" he said to the adults.
Talya did not like being manhandled by anyone, but at least this boy wasn't making any comments about her eye, or worse yet, trying to poke it. Yes. She had run into kids who tried to do that. He was seeming gentlemanly at the moment. Except for earlier. And for right now, with his arm around hers. And in the future. Never trust anyone who called a grown-up a "soft touch." But she held her bucket out nonetheless. "Trick or treat!"
Decran frowned as he plucked a rock up from the pile outside of the house. He glanced up, lips pursing at the dark windows and almost seemingly abandoned home. When he glanced back down at the pile he huffed and read the sign over again (‘Pet rocks, take only one and treat them well’). The damn rocks didn’t even have faces. Stuffing the stupid thing into his bucket, Decran turned to leave and tripped over something in the middle of the path. Glancing down, his brows knit together. A blue and purpble nezubat plushie laid right in his way. He bent, picked it up and glanced around. With no one in sight to claim the plushie, Decran stuffed it into his bucket and moved off. If he ran across anyone claiming to have lost said plushie, he’d have it to give back to them. If he didn’t run into anyone then he had himself a new plushie. Maybe Ceri would like it as a playtoy.
Popcorn...hands… Syra stared at the ‘treat’ she’d been handed and couldn’t help but let her nose wrinkle up (at least she was out of sight by now). Not only was the popcorn stuffed into a rubber glove, the candy used for the nails looked as if it was deformed and not very tasty. Knowing her luck, the popcorn would be stale as well. Sighing, she put the hand into her bucket and moved on.
She was... A bit lost. Only a little, but Yua was starting to get concerned. Where was the meeting place again?
Twisting around the imp was momentarily startled. A fox was starring at her! The creature was holding a stone in it's mouth, and placed it down in front of Yua, then turned and walked away.
"H-hey! Wait for me!" Yua followed the large dog-fox, but not before bending down to pick up the rock. Maybe it was important- who knew? Before long she could hear sounds of chatter and she was beginning to recognize the area. So the foxy-dog had lead her back to where she was suppose to be?
As the canine stopped moving Yua panted as she waddled over to it. "Thaank you Fwoxy." She mumbled while petting it's wispy head. As the imp turned to leave she felt a slight surprise to feel the presence of the fox following her. So it wanted to go with her? Well, Yua had no objections to that!

Odessa wasn't quite sure when it had started, but the crowd was starting to dissipate. She guessed that some of them were starting to return to their dorms, however, she couldn't help but want to finish the night out since she loved Halloween so much.
"Trick or Treat!" Kiessi held their bucket up, pulling themselves on their tiptoes to try to get a better vantage point. They smiled gratefully at the gift they received, "Thanks!" before skittering off.
"Another bat!" Kara exclaimed gleefully as she held the little thing out for inspection. "I'm going to have a full room of these guys if I'm not careful!"
Anara snuck up from behind, relieving one of the booths of a cute little ghost before disappearing back into the shadows.

For whatever reason, Neptune had completely zoned out, not really hearing anything or even really seeing anything. When Sara asked if they should head back to camps, he snapped out of it, and shook his head to clear his mind. "O-oh, I'm sorry M-Melisara... I zoned out..." He nodded a bit, then stifled a yawn with his free hand.
"Mmm, I-- I agree... we should go look for her up there... s-see if she's okay? It's g-getting pretty late... a-and the festival will close soon..." He reached for her free hand, then started off towards the campus again.
There were a few more clusters after that, and Peri and the girl got to talking. Her name was Talya. She liked cats and princesses, and she was a member of Arkham. Well...one out of three ain't bad. No, wait, it was bad. Frikking bad. But there was something else underneath her surface, a bit of jealousy everywhere she went. It was as if she was missing something but couldn't articulate what it was.
Mostly she kept staring at the plushies. From the sounds of their talk, she hadn't collected a single one this entire event. That was actually kind of depressing--even Peri had a bajillion of them. He patted her on the shoulder. "Tell you what," he said on impulse, "the next plushie I get is yours."
Talya had been learning about Perigor as well. He was in Enoch (wait, really?), he had no family (no duh), and he liked pumpkas (hence the pumpka, presumably). In fact, he liked pumpkins in all their forms. Bit of a weirdo, but this time of year, and with the cute bracelet on her wrist, she could sort of see his point. But the weirdest thing about this weird boy was his catchphrase: "Hi, I'm Perigor. I'm evil!" He said it over and over and over again. And the more he said it, the more Talya doubted he was being silly.
"You don't have to," Talya mumbled. Perigor was being way too nice for a gross, dumb, weird, "evil" monster boy.
