The special effort she'd made being overlooked was in turn easily overlooked itself in favor of the fact that he cared about her safety. So, winning smile showing and all, a little bravado ended up coming out. "Though, I wouldn't have minded. Appendages can grow back. But there's only one of you~" A morbid thought or two was all right if her intentions were sweet, right? What he said next certainly sobered her up quickly enough, harrowed by the possibility that she might not have made it in time before the building had... changed? "I think... I think I'm beginning to understand, yes." How nerve-wracking, to have to deal with such an unsettling place to begin with, but for it to be inconsistent? Sentient buildings seemed far more tame.

"But you are useful, just being you!" Of course that'd be what she'd insist. But she had to relent a little in the end, with what she knew of how he operated. "I understand that it's in your nature to be helpful, but please do take a little time to help yourself." And what would encouragement be without some sort of ridiculous proclamation? "And even so~ Listening to me and tolerating hugs are pretty useful by themselves." She looked entirely too happy over that, but she wasn't entirely wrong about it either. And his insistence of taking as little space as possible wouldn't be tolerated. Not one bit! Her face taking on a stern quality, she set in on telling him otherwise. "And don't be like that. Whatever sort of indignities you have to suffer elsewhere you shan't be suffering here. You're a person." There was no reason to scold him much, though. He'd already had tough enough of a day, hadn't he? Face returning to a gentle smile, of course she'd elaborate just a little more. "And a very important one at that~ Even if you feel you've no right to demand anything of the rest of the world, you've the right to with me." Expecting an instant change in his personality would be irresponsible. Perhaps expecting any sort of change outwardly at all would be the same, but encouraging him to feel a little more comfortable around her specifically wasn't something she could ever see as a bad thing.

And oh, he was in for it now! "Heh~ I just told you!" Another hug to have to tolerate was definitely warranted as far as she was concerned, as she scooped him up and held him again. "Wherever you are, whatever form you may take, even if you forget just why~" Holding him at an arm's length, her confident but sweet expression affirmed just how strongly she felt about it. "If you are in trouble, I will find you." With that she put him back. There wasn't a need to get ice cream absolutely everywhere after all. "I won't leave you behind or forget you, ever~ You've always a place with me, in both heart and home." Maybe if she said it enough it'd eventually sink in. Just as well. Wasn't as if she'd stop saying so. She hadn't forgotten about the real crux of his question though, even with all of her boldly romantic declarations. "Besides. Who's to say that anything I could hear back about you would be true? Who's to say they wouldn't just refuse to acknowledge that you even existed." Just how unhappy that possibility made her was plain across her face, but she wouldn't let it linger. "Better to see for myself, no matter the cost." Simple enough to understand, right? Outside of each other, there were few to be trusted.

Caught off guard! "I... er, no, I just... Well, a bed's going to be way too big, isn't it?" Oh, practicality versus comfort! But for someone barely as big as a cat? "And it'd get dirty. I'm fine with just a pillow and a box, really! It'll make things easier to wash later, right?" No, why was he the one getting flustered over this? "I'll wash them myself, if that's what you're worried about. Just um... A pair of gloves should suffice. I'll cut the fingers out so they'll last longer." Very confused and very determined nodding. And yes, completely missed the point yet again. "I'll pull my own weight around here regardless, so no need to clean up after me." That pout, so full of stoic pride, hiding the nagging notion that yes he would be bored out of his mind now that ops were on hold yet again.

But for the rest of it, he let her have her hug, with that blank, dumbfounded look. Why? Praying hard that she had not gotten her senses whirled around too much, and silent gratitude to whoever that decided to inform her. Must be a guardian angel, who else would be so kind? Or so naive. He should really get a phone. "Okay. Just be careful. I'd hate to see you get into any trouble because you're looking for me." Not like he'd quit with that line either. Two people, repeating the same things over and over at each other, how was this care again? "And um, if you really have to go in there again, please do inform me first." So he could deliver a stern warning to the rest of the staff to not mess with her? Oh, so protective! Wrong kind of protective.

Finishing up his spoonful - he only took less than a couple of scrapes, what is this? - He clapped the lid back on and stared at the spoon. Right, her house had no sterilizer. So no chucking it into the dishwasher and waiting a while for it to cool. How did she wash the library the last time he had been here, anyway? Speaking of the library. ".... Um, the rabbits don't come in here, do they? Or the cats?" Yeah, like he'd wanted to be piled on by a large bundle of fluff. And forgetting that they can and would anyway. At least, the rabbits.

Again with the pillow box! It seemed like a silly thing not to relent to, but it also seemed like a silly thing to relent to. "Ehh~ Can't you just sleep on a pillow on the bed? Things are already rather dirty, I think~" While she'd neglected the mess that had been made she hadn't forgotten about it. "Besides, this is the apartment. We should definitely stay clean, but I'd offered you this space before." With all the dark it was probably difficult to tell just where he was so she was far from offended, observation filled with cheer more than anything else. "So, you can be a little comfortable here~ Well, I'd hope you could find some comfort in it at least." Funny how the circumstances of the situation could sober it up considerably. Was she being responsible? She felt it, at least, trying her best to help rather than just insist. That she wasn't already completely lost in her own reveries said quite a bit by itself, considering he'd be staying with her like she'd always wanted. But no, she continued to try to help him while leaving his pride in tact. "You could stay at the house if you want, but here I'll be all of downstairs even when at work." As much as she'd like to just take the time off and spend it all with him, he was unlikely to let her do that. Compromising!

Eyes wide with curiosity she looked over his small form, eventually tapping lightly upon his hands with her fingers. "Will you be this size for some time?" She couldn't help but look at him admirably, though he likely thought nothing of it. "It's quite something, though, that you can make even that much matter that quickly. Is it the sugar?" Was he used to his condition being overlooked, or regarded with disgust? While she'd accepted it, she still approached it with careful consideration. And lest he think she preferred his smaller self... "You're definitely cute, but... you're cute anyway." She smoothed her fingers down the side of his face again, only to withdraw them quickly as her own face grew hot. His diminutive size didn't embolden her towards further physical contact, though it did seem to make her more comfortable with completing her own cues to comfort that she usually ignored. And certainly not with confidence, with how quickly she retreated. He might end up with a lot more physical contact than he was used to but nope, nothing she hadn't done before.

Hands back to herself again, she acknowledged both his concern and her luck of the draw with an appreciative smile. "I'm used to trouble, but I'll try not to make you worry too much." He'd still accepted her decision, hadn't he? Would only be fair to accept his in return. "Though how would I tell you, without a phone or a... hnn." The juxtaposition between a phone contract and a demonic contract, while humorous enough, left her with a great deal of uncertainty. If he'd wanted to, she wouldn't refuse him. But the possibility of things changing for the worse weighed down too heavily upon that sort of decision. It didn't seem likely that he was the type to take advantage of the ensuing power imbalance, but... it hardly seemed like a situation that would aid with her subdued ambition that some day he might return her feelings. No pushing, but no hindering herself either.

But for the time being, back to helping. "So gloves, and... anything else you might want?" And while adorably waiting for an answer, she came to her own conclusion about his question about the animals. "Oh~ They're at the house, but I can bring them over if you'd like!" Cute man, cute pets, cute cute cute. The idea was practically intoxicating. "Too cute~"

"And roll off onto the blanket," he quipped, nodding sarcastically. "I somehow won't manage to get lost in sheets while I'm asleep either." This stupid, tiny size! "I'll just.... um...." Dropping off the edge of the table and waddling over to a corner of her room should work, there. "I'll borrow this corner for the time being. Like being in a can again, but with voice and response. Same way that I won't occupy much space or require much care." But a coffee now and then wouldn't hurt, oh no. And he could just walk downstairs to get some! Or fall out the window, that could work too, if he could climb up there.... somehow...

Technically, the recipe was enough space, ample amounts of sugar and undisturbed solitude for.... let's see, to replace all the spilt material, a month. Double that time if he was going to have to put regenerating on hold for people walking around, and since she knows he's here, perhaps the longest amount of time alone would be the length of the longest time she can keep herself at work, and even then there was still an empty socket. But it made him feel bad, to be essentially kicking her out of her own bedroom for the good part of a day, whether it was a coffeeshop easily found but perhaps not so easily suspected or a house capable of running away. The amount totaled to... "... Quite some time, I suppose," he muttered, face slightly red. The world of difference repairing himself in a closed room with no onlookers versus an apartment with another occupant. "Though um, it should be gradual, even with yes, it's the sugar. There will be no sudden shooting out of nowhere, so not to worry." Unless she found a dead body somewhere near the area. Then maybe a worry, and maybe a little further away from the floor compared to the previous day.

And his immediate reaction was "N-No! You don't have to!" All of a sudden he was in danger again! In danger of being piled on and drowning in rabbits. Now it was his turn to pout! All the pouting a diminutive imp could do. Half the frosty glare too, so many discounts! "If you bring them over you'll have to wash all of them. And wash your hands. Or I'll wash them for you." Squeaky voice hardly making that sound like a threat. Like it ever was, now without access to his coat pockets and the scrubbing brushes. "And your arms. And wherever else my head banged into." Back to the stern, stubbornly hygienic doctor she knew, eh?

A low snarl ended with her rescinding her previous decision. "Mrr~ Fine! But a nice pillow, and a nice box. In the corner of the bedroom. No less!" He'd won, but she was a sore loser. Who wouldn't let him get away, as she shuffled over to his chosen corner and scooped him up as she bore quite the clever grin. "Still different than a can." Another hug and he was on the sofa with her.

Looking over him sweetly once again, she seemed unaffected by his time estimate. "Oh~ Well, that's all right. Take all the time you need~" She knew she couldn't keep him forever. Could she? But she was in no hurry to release him either. Besides, those sorts of things took time. An odd sort of thing to understand, but to an extent she really could relate. "Takes quite a while for myself, too. From what I remember, anyway. Though I tend not to be conscious until the ribcage is passed. It's... it's for the best." Even just being left with a head was too much for her. Better to just not be conscious for most of that time. Though the green tint her face had gained eventually began to fade as she thought over more pleasant things. "Heh~ Will you be able to come along on my trip in a few days? Probably more fun than going as a can." There'd be some complications from not taking a can, but nothing she couldn't handle. "But if you need to rest, that's also all right." Her bright-eyed smile eventually resulted in a laugh. "I just really want to help you, any way I can~" Any sweeter and there'd be hearts visibly floating around her.

"Patcchi, then. Yes? Patcchi likes baths." And as quickly as that, she was back to business. Followed by another bout of cuteness, of course. "Did you know that rabbits can swim? It's cute~ Well, sometimes." Was just having the bath to herself sometimes too much to ask? And as much as attempted threats made mini Erhard all the more adorable, they were certainly far from effective. "That won't work on me. You should know that by now~" Had it ever? Even threats of violence hadn't deterred her from pursuing his company, instead seeming to encourage her instead. She leaned in some, eager to affirm that she understood and it was of a similar importance to her. "I like staying clean, and staying sanitary is just something I've accepted as a condition of being involved with you." Reclining back into her seat, she rambled through the finer details of what she'd done so far. "The sanitizer the cleaner sold me is a little spendy, but it smells nice. Sugary!" Rolling her head over to look in his direction again, she proposed further solutions. "Maybe I should've gone for the sanitizing cabinet like they suggested. Would you like that?" So eager to please, even if he asked for little.

"Not too nice, if they don't stand up to sterilizing much. That way if they really end up falling apart, then you wouldn't have wasted much." The only person what would ask for the basic things and be happy with them. But he could endure hugs for that. Yeah. A recovery place, undisturbed, hugs and companionship was a good enough compensation, he supposed.

She must be quite the busy lady, going on a trip again. "Business trip this time, is it? Would bringing me along be too distracting that way?" She'd have to worry about not losing this tiny fella in a crowd, or have to explain to her business partners why she had a dead curious doll in her bag, or save him from equally curious animals or customs officers, so on and so forth. "Funny, in both times it's only one eye that gets to go on the trip," he muttered darkly to himself.

Did he really want to know if she had been trying to throw her pets into the bath? Maybe he was better off not asking. "... Patchy might not like getting stuffed in there, so perhaps it's for the better." No mention of him being used to using a cabinet to sterilize his things, but then it was not like he had much things that required it at the moment. So the next problem would be not trying to eat his bedding while asleep?

Her usual self might've snapped back at anything regarding him being considered as waste, but... her newly harried and worn self wasn't up for that challenge at present. No words. Not even so much as a disgusted sound like what might've been expected of her. She just sat there quietly, avoiding eye contact and looking rather shamed. The mask of normalcy she'd assumed for his sake was beginning to crack. She hadn't made the deliberate choice to stay away from home for the rest of the day without a motive in mind, after all.

"What?" Somehow having her trip assumed to be for business just ripped the day's wounds open a little further. She wouldn't be content with letting that go, softly speaking up for one of the few things she wouldn't simply accept slights to even in that state. "I'm going to visit Master's tomb on the day of his death, as I always do," she refuted, vulnerability in her voice edged with defensiveness. "It'd be simple enough to disguise you as a child," she continued, expecting a sharp remark in return. There was a moment's sympathy for the missing eye, her expression softening as she asked. "Was it destroyed? Or is it lost somewhere?" Between a lack of experience with his regeneration process and experience that it was better not to ask questions about sensitive matters, she hadn't thought much of there being all of one eye in his face.

With his last comment, it seemed she'd had all she could take in her weakened state. With a face flushed with embarrassment came that sick, weak feeling. She couldn't bear to stay there, though, clumsily making it to her feet. She paused for only a moment before heading back towards the table, not bothering to turn around to state her rationale. "If you hadn't wanted any company, you could've said so," she mumbled, voice eerily free of emotion. He'd had a rough time of it. But it'd still hurt, having her questions disregarded. But she hadn't stomped away defiantly. No, her automated way of coping had already kicked in, mind eager to occupy itself with some meaningless task as her heart rattled away within her chest. Cleaning was always the easiest task to complete, even with rigid and shaking arms. Even if something felt broken. Even if something ended up more broken. Her emotional armor wearing too thin had let trauma surface too easily, as she had had no time to even try to cope with what she'd just gone through. She murmured quietly to herself as she gathered the desserts from the table, putting precedence on that task due to the frozen nature of the items. "I'll do it. No... don't... no..." A starkly blank look filled her eyes as she struggled to both keep a hold on the things and on herself. "No more. Don't."

Yeah, this was how he was supposed to treat the person who hauled him out of there. Good going. If only he had teeth sharp enough to mangle his own tongue just a few minutes before! "No, that's not what I meant! I..." Should he continue, or just give her space? Keeping in mind that their needs didn't necessarily match, it was so much harder now without a second opinion. But what else was there to say? Changing the topic was belittling her feelings, he might make another mistake while trying to comfort her with a shattered level of confidence, so on and so forth. "I meant, gel would be more of use, the heat might..." No use, was it? How about the other? "... I meant, I just didn't realise it'd been a year already, time flies...." But he should have remembered the date. Something else? That was still a little too raw to talk about, but if he didn't say anything she'll be upset, then - but the person supposed to be comforted here was not him, so why drag that up?

Tongue-tied and tired was not the best combination to have. Head drooping a little as he slid off his seat, he supposed the best course of action would just be to give her space for a while, even if she wasn't a patient and bedside manner was of no application to her. He'd have to learn. Oh! Turn around and go up to her, quick! Fix her with that determined stare and ask! "What would you like me to do, Ama? It hasn't been easy for either of us today, so please, let's both get some rest? A bit of sleep should help." Nod, nod. Go on! "Um... Never mind about the boxes for today, I... I can make an exception. Just once." Yep, too easily influenced by others' emotions. Disregarding their safety in lieu of their happiness, as usual.

With a push to return the contents to the freezer and a moment's attention to be sure the door was secured afterwards, cognizance began to return to the eyes that turned to face him. Said eyes were fixed upon him for a short while, though with no particular thought behind them. "Just a minute." For the most part her movements retained their unusual stiffness as she went for the closet, but subtle differences started to show as she set in upon tidying the disarray from earlier. Sweeping up any glass, mopping up any mess, and sanitizing the surface and her tools afterwards. Saying nothing as she did so, but with noticeably more ease than previously seen and a shy smile as well. Though still responsible for provoking her gloomy thoughts, he'd also managed to save her from herself with little effort. Still so capable of stoking her affection for him, even in the form of basically a doll.

Once she'd packaged up her duvet for the cleaners and cleansed her hands, she returned to take a seat upon the floor beside him to better talk things through. "Without the duvet you should have an easier time of things, I'd think." Said sensibly, as she had no intention of taking advantage of him through her own trauma. Though with her head in her hands, she couldn't help but look a little humbled. "You can share a bed with me any time, of course." So, so carefully stated. No sharing her bed or 'sleeping' with her, no no no. Even if every meaning of those words was true, it was absolutely not the right time to make verbal missteps like that. She still felt some of the strain anyway, both slightly flustered and flushed anyway as one of her hands ended up pawing at the side of her face. "I mean. I know how to behave, you know?" Somehow. Even if his presently incomplete form left her with extra incentive to leave him be, of course she'd have to remind him that she'd been good before, even with his usual size and with beds being involved. Somehow!

He was getting better at this! No, no, no celebrating so early. So much more to learn without guidance. "Okay, I trust you do even without me saying anything. Sure you won't feel cold without it tho - ah, hang on. This isn't the office." So he still had to work on the automated questions. One at a time. But okay, take a seat here too, just relax. They both needed it, both with nerves rubbed raw.

Okay, a minute of silence was up. Enough rest, let's get back to work! Ah, right. No work for a while. Vacation then, at least it was something to think about while he tried cooking up some plan to get that amusement park trip set up again. "When are you going? I'll try not to be too big before then. That way you don't need to trouble yourself by having to make visas and whatnot." And risk her pulling strings and having to put effort to getting him somewhere without a passer-by bird shooting him out of the blue, and give him enough time for any last-minute stuff he needed to do. "I should be able to still fit in your bag, and I'll go get something insulating to cover." He'd suggest a ziploc bag, but she would immediately swat that idea out of the way, wouldn't she?

While untroubled by his automated temperature advisory, casually refuting it was just something that came naturally to her. "Heat, cold~ They bother me not." Though that dismissal of the elements quickly turned into a sensible offer regarding her endurance. "I'm the one that could easily be purposed as a cold or heat pack for your purposes, remember." Once again stated quite matter-of-factly, as she didn't need to be an opportunist to offer a practical use of her durable body to someone of great importance to her. A pert little smile showed up eventually though, as her intentions still wouldn't negate that cheeky personality of hers.

"Hnn~ The day after tomorrow." With an exaggerated sigh she had no issue with acknowledging the flaws in her plan. "Quick turnaround, but what can you do~" Some annoyance surfaced due to the self-imposed circumstances at play. "Tch~ Wouldn't be so much of a hassle if that stubborn retainer hadn't made me promise." The issue of his size kept her from lingering upon her irritation for too long, though. "Are you sure? You're already a little big to be carried around as it is." With her legs tucked to the side she actually went so far as to scoop him up into her lap, though closer to her knees than anything and certainly with no ulterior purpose. More of the idle play between their hands and arms, too, as a repetitive motion due to a tired mind. That soon ceased, though, as she had some boasting to do. "Passports aren't cheap, but~" Hand gestured over her clavicle, she probably looked a little too proud for what she was proud over. "A simple acquisition, for someone such as myself." Entirely too self-satisfied in just how shady she was, but it was just as well. "Here, I'll show you." Carefully placing him back on the floor, she retreated to the bedroom for a moment to return with what looked like the usual red-covered packet of travel papers. Nothing glaringly out of place about the details upon the page she showed, other than a quite contemporary birthdate. '10 DEC 1994'

With a lazy stretch of her arms over her head she had to complain. At least a little. "Such a pain, these days~ Travel used to be much more simple, you know." And tons more dangerous. That too! "At least it's much easier to invest in a remarkably advanced bunch of paper that updates itself rather than try to pull one over on the government offices every few years. The pretenses that come with being forced to blend in with humans are so annoying." That irritation through, she continued elaborating upon her unethical ways. "Temporary documentation for a minor should be cheaper, though. Just the matter of filling in the blanks~" Said so lazily, as if making up identities was no big deal to her. "My surname, perhaps, in case someone is looking for you. Father took Mother's name, so no one would think twice about a child bearing my name instead." But of course she'd get distracted by that, with the usual starry-eyed pontification. "In any other case I think I'd prefer your name, though." She knew what she was saying, with that. And she certainly meant it. But did she necessarily have to tell him? Of course not, and with that realization and a red face she pushed back towards the actual matter at hand. "A-anyway. It's really up to you, though." Her hands ended up busied with the too-long hair she wasn't accustomed to having, fingers combing through and playing with the length of it. Her own rambles leading up to the decision were far more troublesome than whatever answer he might give her.

"And does the cold-or-heat pack not feel cold or heat in the slightest while asleep? Ah, alright, alright. I trust you won't accidentally roll over either." More of a half-hearted attempt at humor, and of course true to his nature it'd be served cold. Yet he was more worried about being squashed than being hugged in his sleep? Priorities!

Sweat, sweat sweat sweat. Sneaking out of the country was a new thing, being nonchalant about it? Totally another. No help that he was still extremely paranoid about getting attacked in what he assumed was a safe area, but what could be done about that? ".... No, I think it's safer to not use any of my name. Would rouse less suspicion, and... Actually," he thought for a while, then put down the papers and looked around. Eh, no knife or forceps, nubby hands would have to do. Zero experience in plastic surgery, but shifting these around shouldn't be too hard. A nudge here, a pinch there, fluff up all that hair until it was nice and long and red, and now Amarante found herself looking at a completely different doll, but with malformed hands. ".... This might take a while to perfect, and I need enough material to construct a whole skeleton plus visible fingers." Was a day enough? If he could find any source of that powder, maybe. Which shouldn't be too hard since she had a coffee business downstairs, it was just a simple matter of maybe borrowing the milk powder tin for a while. And trying not to use all of it. Somehow, staying in a can was a lot more simpler. "Is this alright? Do I look passable? Do I need a ribbon or something to tie this up?" Funny, asking her for appearance tips! Now why didn't he ask when it was clothes so long ago? "Or less like a doll and more like a child? Err...." More face-scrubbing!

Not just doing something illegal, but making use of something he'd never have done before? Someone would be very disappointed. "Maybe a bottle of warm water to drink beforehand, in case they've got thermal sensors. But dogs...." Nope, no masking smells. Would he be unlucky enough to get sniffed out by a dog mistaking him for a corpse, however? "... Packing me in a bag is so much easier too. Oh well." Since she was so intent on not treating him like an object and more like a person, he'd go along with it. Not every day people were insistent on doing that, might as well let her. "I can't do anything voice-wise, but it's a simple matter of not speaking during inspection, right? Was there any other issue to sort out?"

"Heh~" A calculating grin ended up upon her face, regardless of just how effective his attempt at humor had really been. That off, sometimes biting quality to his personality could outright shred her feelings into ribbons at times. Even so. For the most part she obviously enjoyed it, even if she did end up on the receiving end of that icy aggression more than she liked. "Well. Temperature alone cannot wake the likes of me. You're free to try otherwise, though~" Which was more likely to end up as mischief opposed to any sort of romantic or intimate gesture she would've liked, but her kind smile looked to indicate that any sort of end result to that suggestion would be welcomed all the same. With a thoughtful hum she moved on to affirmation that he wouldn't find himself flattened in the morning. "Mm, you'll be fine. The result of having to sleep in cramped spaces at times, I suppose~" Sometimes there was just a lack of choices, so being able to sleep whilst packed away somewhere was a useful albeit very learned sort of skill.

Good, he hadn't paid any attention to her preoccupation with his name! Wait. He'd entirely overlooked it, hadn't he. Well, both good and bad, so she could hardly complain. "Oh~ What name will do, then?" As cheerfully as that came out, she was soon caught up with the sight of what he'd done. "Heh, red." It was unlikely for any child of hers to inherit that unnaturally red hair, but... not impossible. Definitely not. Keeping herself from any troubling thoughts, she was quick to address his needs. "Oh, what did you need? I can get you lots~" Apparently whatever it was didn't matter. Did it ever, though? At least she waited until there was in fact a need. There was that. But only so many distractions could keep her from coming back to the hair he'd changed, eventually unable to keep her hands away anymore. As her fingers gingerly went through said hair, her words went through options. "With this much it can be braided, or put up with clips, or twisted and pinned maybe..." All at once she just stopped, suddenly very aware of what she was doing. She couldn't see it as being harmful, but... was it really all right? She had no ground to argue against being clingy. She definitely was. But only in private, so... well. It was no use to argue through it in thoughts, being that any errors in judgment she made would be quickly and coldly corrected. As she both deserved and didn't seem to learn much from each time. With a sigh that was both humbled and amused she let him go for the time being, knowing it was only a matter of time before it happened again.

His caution was taken into consideration, but not entirely necessary. "I take private flights, so it's really only a matter of coming across as passable in both appearance and documentation. I'm considered a person of interest, so... these precautions are necessary, you see." Celestial court didn't account for much when it came to terrestrial law, but she'd done enough to have a certain level of infamy regardless. "Boarding and leaving the country is easy. Just that arrival will require a little extra attention, but... attitude is everything, you know? Don't give them a reason to be suspicious, and they won't be. And, a layer of illusionary magic could help things along. Not only with appearance..." Pulling at her wrist some showed the actuality of her grey skin versus the brown she displayed to survive more effectively, which quickly disappeared once she released her grip. "But making people believe what you want them to believe. So, should you have to speak, the illusion will not be broken by that." She studied his small size for a moment, trying to discern if she'd be able to adequately disguise someone outside of herself with the amount of energy she had available. "Even if you grow a little more it shouldn't take that much energy, especially when building upon what you can already do yourself. And so~ How would you like to be presenting yourself?" Bypassing a crass approach to gender was likely best when it was already a sensitive subject for the individual in question. It couldn't be avoided in its entirety, however. "The sort of clothes you chose will gender you the most, so please keep that in mind~" She couldn't make the irritation over the interpretation of his usual features just go away. But she wouldn't stop trying to impress her own personal brand of gentle consideration upon him, of course.

What did a small person asking a big person for milk powder look like? Short, that's what! But he was not above it, no. Maybe a bit worried if she decided to go overboard like she did with the ice cream, but well, better than nothing, he guessed. "Normally I can get formula at the pharmacy, but I guess milk powder should be enough for the time being. Just a matter of time." When there's determination, there's result, one supposed. But where was the line between determination and stubbornness? Broken down by her words of hair styling! "I... Er...!" Oh, he had better tell her quick, lest she went off to get hairpins and clips and the like! "...... Just don't go overboard with the styling. I've a hard time walking as it is." Aww, so sweet of him to let her have fun at his expense, while still not understanding what was it with people and hair. Must be one of the common eccentricities.

Oh, and before he forgot again. "Name? Um." And of course he would be bad at coming up with names. "I have no idea." Not even a gamble at a line-of-sight name? No, to stifle his own thought, Patch was not exactly a common name. This is hard, choosing a name to fit and gathered the least attention! "Any um, any suggestions?" he asked, embarrassed. Can't even think of a name for himself, good job.

".... A onesie? Can it do?" Which was pretty much the only kind of clothing he ever had practice forming for a non-human size. And neutral to boot! So no need to practice at trying to make floating cloth-lookalikes, and no need to impose so much on her either! But the hard thing was the eyes. "Is it.... Is it possible to make an illusion of eye colour? Changing that, there won't be much other significant traits that can be linked back to me." But why was he looking so uneasy about it? Did the mere thought of wearing contacts blind him? "... It won't hurt, right? Just a little um, covering over eyes, so it shouldn't hurt, right?" Aww, so worried about eyes!
