Team Awesome
Oh Jack Damn. That felt good.
Hel watched with glee as Riyo skidded across the ground and then gushed more blood than she did when she had been struck, her body still in the momentum of swinging from the strike. Once again, she felt herself being tugged back by her apron strap, but this time she didn’t try to resist it. “It’s finished.” She sneered, tossing a grin back at Shun from over her shoulder. “There shouldn’t be anything lingering between comrades, right? Well, now Riyo and I are even.” Yup, Hel felt pretty vindicated at this moment, which meant she wasn’t going to go after Riyo anymore unless she started it up again first.
The reaper reached into her bag and pulled out a small rag she happened to have, and flung it over in Riyo’s direction. “To stop the bleeding there, friend.”
The ghoul’s head whipped around though when an oddly commanding voice barked at them. Who in the world could that be—“Mitsu!” The reaper cried out, her face immediately breaking out into a wide, relieved and happy grin (still thinking she might be bi-polar). It didn’t matter at this point that the Lycan was reprimanding them, the valkyrie was just utterly relieved to see her safe and sound, though her expression drooped as the ghoul’s tears split over. “…Ah…hey there friend, it’s alright…”

"Then I better not see any more of this s**t spring up while we're here," he hissed back to Hel before releasing her. Shun glanced over to Riyo, noting that the Valkyrie had drawn blood. Well great.
Though, before he could say anything else on the matter, he heard a familiar voice and for a moment, the Reaper was stunned to see Mitsu showing up looking incredibly angry. That anger had soon turned to tears, which warranted a harsh glare towards Hel as a result.
"Look what you've done," he growled lowly before quickly moving over towards the lycan. Without much of a warning, he found himself wrapping his arms around her tightly.
"You're alright.." he whispered, feeling his rage fade away.

All else was forgotten for a second as Bea appeared. "BEA!" The tiger ghoul made her way to the other helping her up. "Oh thank jack!"
After she'd helped the other up she looked at Bul, "You can't leave me behind." There was a catty grin, "Besides we have to help Calder and Christof's team find Barth."
Her tail wrapped protectively around Bea while the ghoul caught up. "In case we run into Red I think we should agree to take the message too. Who knows what room she's in."
She paused, "Ohhh Christof! I do have some soaps!" She added with a nod having forgotten for a second about the Boil's request before bringing her bag around and digging into it for the soap she'd brought and some other things. "Here!" She offered him a bottle and some bars along with a ball of yarn. "I hope this helps."

((Entering from the Gauntlet!))
Gargantuan had been balled up in a corner somewhere, lamenting about the fact that he had not only failed to help his friends, but he had gotten annihilated by something mean and scary. "Bluh..." The monster shook himself unhappily, knees curled up against his thick chest even as he peered out at the rest of the students. He was feeling a little better now--but not as good as he had been, originally.
Stay? Go home?
Gargantuan didn't know. On one hand, he didn't want to let his team down... but on the other, he was a little scared. What if he died for good? What if he had to be a zombie-swamp-beast?
That was a sad thought.

Roch jerked at the sound of a familiar voice and turned as he saw the swamp monster. He headed over to the big guy's side, crouching down beside him and patting his shoulder. "Hey, G?" he said. "C'mon, big guy, talk to me. Do you want to go home? Or do you want to go back into the house?"

The tears had continued to pour down Mitsu's face and she had instinctively brought up Mot's hat in an attempt to hide behind it. There had been a number of times while she had been running that she thought she might not see anyone again. That they would be gone and gone for good. It was only made worse when Riyo dissipated and Hel moved out of view.
Feeling arms move around her Mitsu caught a familiar scent and immediately huddled closer. She didn't even had to look to see who it was, his presence alone made it apparent. "I was afraid I wouldn't see you again." She finally admitted between her sobs.
In almost a clinging fashion Mitsu's arms wrapped around Shun, one hand still holding Mot's hat while the other gripped Shun's jacket tightly. She didn't want to think about what it would have been like if she had never seen the reaper again. It was too painful.

The monster bolted upright when he heard Roch's voice, and he scrambled to his feet--only to snatch the poor boil in a bone-crushing hug. "Rochhhhhhhhh!" He wailed, rubbing his cheek against Roch's face. "G thought you gone!" It had been a traumatic time for the beast.
"G wanna go wherever you go. G won't mess up 'gain, promise!" He'd do his best! He'd make his team proud!

Quite frankly, Shun had a very similar fear to what Mitsu just voiced. He felt incredibly relieved that she was here and not back around that tent area or somewhere that he couldn't reach right now. Essentially, he found himself being flooded with a completely different emotion than from what he was feeling moments ago.
Closing his eyes, he held onto her, moving one hand to the back of her head as she sobbed. He didn't want to let go just yet.
"It's alright," he said quietly, "I'm.. glad you're safe."

It was a painful sight to Damien, seeing morale so low after the encounter, though in some cases it couldn't be helped. Even with the sudden appearance of Bea that made the hounds heart jump for as he raced over to greet her with a tackle hug. "Oh i missed you i missed you! I thought you got captured cuz I didn't see you afterwards, oh I'm so glad your OK!" he barked out in a rush before sniffing around the ghost to make sure she was alright.
Team Venture was reunited again, even if it might just be for a instant, but at least its members were currently safe and gave the hell hound relief. However the plight of the missing sloth demon still tugged at him and the heartbreaking face the tall swamp beast had on.
The green eared hound didn't have much to inspire courage in the others, but it didn't stop him from pulling out half of the spooky armor plate he saved and breaking it into smaller bite sized pieces. Little crumbs fell all over unable to be salvaged but the chunks were still good as Damien handed out a piece of spooky to anyone that needed the pick me up.
But he made the effort to hand out a piece to the swamp beast, patchwork and Kelpie personally. "Gotta keep your strength up." he said quietly to them before moving on to the next person that needed the sugar rush and a familiar taste of home.

"Hey, G, c'mon, guy," Roch rasped out, wondering if those were his ribs being crushed or if he just couldn't breathe from the hug. "You didn't mess up, big guy. You did your best." Awkwardly he wrapped his arms around the swamp monster in return, patting him on the back. "Little... looser?" he begged. "Can't... breathe."
Yeeeah, that could possibly be his spine digging into his stomach...

Slowly but surely the feline's mind came back into the normal realm. What? Was someone yelling? What had she just been doing? Did she die again?
No, not quite.
Eyes coming back into focus, the ghoul looked up at Hel, then Mitsu, then Shun, and back to Hel again. One would assume that because of her generally malicious attitude, the ghoul might get up and try to strike Hel back. But no. Noooo. By receiving that punch to the face, it seemed the cat demon had won as well. "So. You ARE jealous." The ghoul's smile came back with a vengeance, though she didn't move off the ground. Staying where she was for a little while while her nose flowed like a waterfall sounded just fine at the moment. "That's cute."

[Entering from the Gauntlet!]
The dull thud of the boil's body crumpling into the grass was the only audible sign of his return to the front lawn. Expectedly disoriented, it took Yuki a moment to push himself up halfway in order to begin processing where he was now that the pain had faded.
He hadn't known what had been going on moments before, he was at a complete loss now.
"Astra?" Yuki little more than murmured, gradually making his way to stand. He stood in place for several seconds, so that his eyes could focus properly. The voices of the other students around him helped to assure that they were alright... At least, in a manner of speaking.
Though, unlike most of the others, Yuki didn't see his missing team mates anywhere. Were they still inside? Back inside by now, even? He moved quietly toward the porch of the house, hesitantly pausing before the steps. He had to go back inside. He had to find the others and make sure that they weren't in trouble.

As Damien approached and held out something that looked very good to eat, Gargantuan stopped for a moment. The monster snuffled for a moment, timidly reaching out to take a peace. "Tanks..." That was nice. Really nice. And, fortunately for Roch, the swamp beast was fortunately distracted enough that he set down the other so he could munch at the spooky treat.
"Nummy." He muttered to himself, feeling already a little happier thanks to the sugar. It was delicious. Most things were delicious. But still. "G feels better."

Roch yanked one of the spookies as well, not having been offered one, but not caring. "Thanks, man," he said to Demi, but it was more for cheering up the big guy than the spookie.
"G, big guy, I said you were a hero, and there ain't anything that's gonna change my mind, you got that? You disabled one of the traps, you took out the fire in the first room. And I'm jackin' proud to have you on my team." And as much as he wanted to tell the big guy to go home, he wasn't going to. G had already made up his mind.

Team AwesomeMitsu felt the comfort and relief wash over her and she settled into Shun's arms grateful that she could do it. It took a moment for the sobbing to ebb but when it did something else caught her ears. Riyo, and while Mitsu was rather naive and honestly had no idea what was going on she felt the girl's tone was baiting. Still hugging Shun closely Mitsu moved her head slightly to give the feline demon and the winged reaper the subtlest of glances. Nothing too strong but she wanted to get her point across which was 'let me enjoy this ******** moment of peace jack damnit.' Yeah, that should do the trick. Her face was still tear stained but she didn't let that hinder her. Looked like Hel wasn't the only bipolar one today. Once she felt she had given her glare a good go she wiped the expression from her face entirely before tilting her head up to look at Shun. Slowly a smile started to cross her face. " I'm glad you're okay too."
