Ever shrieked loudly and quickly submerged herself into the water in her tub. She meant to stop at her chin, but she was going so fast that she just continued to slide until her head was completely submerged in the water.
When she came back up, sputtering, some of her clips had come undone and sections of her hair were now hanging down around her face, all completely soaked and bubble covered.
Ever wiped the soap out of her eyes and grabbed the shower curtain quickly to hold in front of herself below her chin.
"Ares!!!!! What the freaking hell are you doing here?! This is an entirely new low for you!"

Ares blinked, then took a brief moment to look at his surroundings. Tile floors... discarded clothes... sink... toiletries... bathtub... ...and one very wet and very surely naked Evermore. "...s**t." This wasn't what he had thought would happen. And she seemed more than just shocked; she seemed actually really angry.
But then he remembered that she was naked and probably would be even more mad at him for 'staring', and quickly turned away--but what the HELL, there's a damn mirror there! He groaned in frustration, slapping a hand over his eyes (for a lack of anything better to do). He didn't want to destroy any chance that he might have of... well, getting some... because she was mad at him for being a 'peeping tom' or whatever the hell they were called now. Maybe it was just 'pervert'?
...Nah, she already knew he was a pervert.
"Does it at least console you that I didn't know you were, well, bathing?" Probably not; she was a woman, after all.

Ever's eyes were red again and her hair was a fiery red. But as soon as she saw Ares' eyes widen in what appeared to be surprised, turn around, and then cover his eyes, her eyes began to return to their normal color. Her hair stayed the same red, but she was starting to wonder if he really had made a mistake.
But she was still very angry at him and still glaring. She felt around in the tub with the hand that wasn't holding the curtain in front of her. When her hands brushed against something solid, she quickly grabbed it up and brought it to the surface. She clutched it to her chest and then maneuvered the shower curtain so that she was holding it to her body with her elbow and she could reach out toward Ares with the hand that wasn't holding the locket.
"Hand me a towel, now."

Deciding that maybe making the snarky comeback on the tip of his tongue wouldn't be a good idea, he was briefly thankful that there was, in fact, a towel rack right next to him; he'd almost bumped into it. He was already being bossed around! What did she take him for? Whi--oh, lookie, towel.
He tugged it down with one hand, still blinded by his own hand, then held it out to her. He might not be able to see her, but he could still feel her presence quite clearly. "Just tell me when I can open my eyes again." He didn't usually act this way; normally, he wouldn't have given a damn, but normal girls would have invited him in.
He wondered if maybe this had something to do with those weird feelings from earlier, but he hoped to heaven and hell that it didn't.

Ever reached out and yanked the red towel from Ares' hand. Red. How appropriate.
Looking at the mirror and checking the reflection to make sure that Ares was still not looking, Ever quickly got out of the tub and wrapped the towel around her body, tying it above her chest. She ignored the bubbles all over her for right now. She wasn't really going to go about wiping herself off with the God of War standing right there.
To try and regain some semblance of dignity, Ever cocked her hip to the side, crossed both arms under her bosom, and held out the hand that had the locket in it up and out to the side.
"You can turn around."

"Finally," he mumbled, just low enough that the sound would be understood, but not the word. Lowering his hand, and still wondering about why he'd done that, he turned to face her. He raised an eyebrow at her stance; yeah, she was definitely angry. He restrained a frustrated sigh, and nodded his head towards the locket. "'See you found that." He, too, crossed his arms.

Ever laughed sarcastically. "Yeah, I did."
Her face clouded over in fury again and she threw the locket at Ares' chest. She figured that with his God-like reflexes, he could catch it if he wanted to.
"And using it to find out when I would be in the tub is despicable and disgusting! I thought that would be an act too low even for you, Ares!"

Ares caught the locket, quite tacken aback until she spoke again. Oh. Well, that explained it. She thought he was tracking her. Didn't she know by now that he wouldn't need a silly device to do so? He laughed, brief but rather cutting. "Really, Evermore? Do you honestly think I'd use a tracking device when I can feel you?"
...That sounded like such an innuendo. He wasn't going to change it.

Ever's breath caught in her throat briefly at Ares' words. He could feel her? How the hell exactly did he do that?
Ever rolled her eyes, trying to put on a strong front, and walked out of the bathroom. She called over her shoulder, "And how exactly do you go about doing that, Ares?"

He rolled his eyes. "It's a god thing, Evermore. You should be able to do it yourself. You probably just haven't figured out how it works yet. Have you ever wanted to find someone, and when you think about them, you just know where they are?"

Ever went over to her closet against the wall by a long mirror and started looking for her flowery silk robe. While doing this, she shook her head in response to Ares' question.
"No, Ares, I don't. I'm not a pervert. I'll go and find them the old fashioned way instead of popping in on them whenever I feel like it. And I actually try NOT to sense where people are or what they're feeling. That leads to me losing my mind in anger. You should understand that."
She turned her head to look at Ares for a moment and there was a dark glint in them momentarily. Her next words gave reasoning to the dark glint.
"After all, you've been around my mothers enough to know quite a lot about Furies and how others anger can greatly affect us."

Ares sighed, shaking his head. "I was talking about without feeling their emotions. You don't need to feel their emotions to feel their presence." He waved a hand off to the side, as he considered it to be common knowledge. "And just because you know where they are," he added, "doesn't mean you know what their surroundings are." Like just now. He hadn't known that she was in the bathroom. He just knew where she was.

Ever smirked sarcastically at that. She pulled one of her closet doors around so that she could drop the towel and wrap herself in her silk robe that went to just above her knees. It always felt so nice and comforting when she wore it. And her hair... was still red and sudsy and wet. Ah well.
Ever looked in the mirror beside the closet and began taking out the pins in her hair. "And that's why you put a lo jack on people you want to track, so you know the exact type of surroundings they're in, right Ares?"

Ares lifted the locket. "You think that this tells me where you are? Still?" He huffed in frustration. "Catch," he said, throwing the locket at her.
"Now open the damn thing. I promise it won't bite you." And it's not a freaking tracker or whatever the hell she thinks it is.

Ever wondered if she could play the same type of game he was playing with her earlier that afternoon, get him to want her, and then pull away. See how he liked being played with. Of course, she didn't know if she wanted to put that much energy and effort into it, into Ares, or not.
Ever turned and caught the locket deftly with an eyebrow raised in curiosity. Before opening it, she walked over to Ares and whispered softly, "You sure it won't bite? Because, I hear that's kinda your style."
