Kit gave Kurai a small grin. "Sorry, got carried away." She said sheepishly then looked over at Tala as she entered the basement and said her bit. Her eyes went wide. "Ballistics...jeez, gals, he was gonna go all Columbine on us!" Then she blinked and squinted at Tala. "You took care of it? Oooo!" Kit rushed over and sat in front of Tala grinning like a kid. "How'dcha do it? Tell tell tell!!"
Sam arrived back at the mansion and went inside and went searching for Brett, who lucky for her was still in front of the television. "Brett! Kit's kidnapped Toad." She said with a worried expression on her face. This was not good. Isabella had left a few days before saying she had to get out on her own and now the X-men team was short. God knows where everyone else was. "We can't go find him, Kit's moved and if this woman, Rem, finds out we were helping she'd kill us. She's frightening." Sam slumped down on the couch next to her friend. "I need to find a way to contact Kit and talk to her. She seemed like she had nothing against us when she came here the other day...what do you think?"
"He wasn't agreeing to the rules and honestly he was a trouble maker. If I had let him go he would have cause trouble for us, probably even joined the fox woman and her team. I had to do what I had to do. I apologize Akira if that upsets you but honestly there was no other choice in the matter." Rem looked at the two and sighed. "I promise not to do it again can we just get rid of his body before it starts smelling?"
Toad held back the yell when the whip hit him. It wasn't that hard to do, he didn't have much left in him anyways. Then he heard a team member of theirs was 'taken care of'. One gone...something to remember if I can ever get out of here... Toad thought keeping still.

 "... alright...." he said sounding almost distant. he was going to try and scoop Jerun before Akira piped in "I'll carry him.....need to build strength anyway" she said despite it being completely obvious that wasn't the reason. "i guess I'm digging" he said. the shadows from outside began the work of digging, Travon decided on a spot near the edge of the woods. it be nearby but not see-able from the street. 'I'm sorry we can't do a formal funeral for you. hate to bury you like some would a pet.' Travon thought as the went to the backyard grave site. he wouldn't matter to him if rem came out or not, frankly he be surprised if she came out at all, she didn't know him hardly at all and she hated what she did know about him. After they finished the burial Travon left Akira alone she need alone time for her own way of grieving. he was use to being accused of not grieving but he wasn't a crier last time he remembered crying was when he broke a leg when he five, he had never been, he usually became more anti social. Akira stayed at the new grave site. she had the mouse that rem had killed earlier to get paint supplies from and a long gone house cat get a rock perfect for a tombstone. she wrote in Japanese:
良い私たちの家族の一部にさようなら
she placed it at the top from where she sat at the side of the graveBrett had been keeping tabs on Sam she had seemed worried when she left "well i can locate either of them. if toad conscious i might be able to figure out where he is or at least a clue, that is if he knows it me and he can look around"

Tala just shrugged and reached into a hidden holster in her boot and pulled out a small knife. It still had flakes of dried blood on it. "Nothin much, just a little artwork, and removal of certain things most males hold dear."
Kurai's jaw hung in shock.....and a little pride.
Up on the first floor, Jaime had fallen asleep, exausted.

Kit just stood there blinking before looking at Kurai, "Dude, I think we've been a bad influence on her. Time to celebrate!!" She laughed then went and tied Toad back up to the pole. "C'mon gals lets go get that new guy a proper welcome and get him completely s**t faced to the point where he's walking around with his pants on his head!"
"Knowing Kit, they're probably out of range of your powers hun and Toad may or may not still be alive. Although he really doesn't seem the type to crack after a day of interrogation. Hopefully he finds a way out." She pulled her legs up and hugged her knees to her chest and sighed.
Rem watched out the window of the kitchen as Travon and Akira buried Jerun. She had no intention in the first place of killing the boy but his actions and lack of self control made it so she had to. Sighing she left the room before Travon came in and went up to the second floor to finally pick out her room. She came to a door that looked like it was slightly busted and walked in. Looking around she saw some of the old occupants things laying around, stuff that hadn't been put in the attic, and she picked up a picture from next to the bed. It was of Toad and a woman with long black hair and black fox ears. Kit before she had been changed by Stryker. Rem smiled, she would take Kit's old room.
When Kurai, Tala, and Kit went upstairs finally he opened his right eye, his left was swollen shut, and looked around. He was already formulating an escape plan, he just prayed that he'd have enough strength to do so when he was finally able to pull it off.

"Sounds good." Kurai said, obviously excited. "One sec though." She walked over to Toad and grabbed his chin roughly and pulled his head up to look at her. "I hope for your sake that you decide to talk tomorrow, or you see that hose? Yeah that one. It'll be goin down your throat next." She followed Kit upstairs.
Jaime seemed completely zonked
Tala followed saying, "Just wanna clean my blade. Don't want it to rust."

when the group arrived up stairs the saw Jamie asleep and Damian seeing how many thing he could place on him before Jamie woke a couple of Kelvan things were in the mix and a few had red stuff on it. "so is smelly man still alive?" Damian asked like nothing was going on at all"i could try...." he said hoping to be helpful. it was really pissing him off that he wasn't much help "not sure what else i can do..."

"Yes, Toad is still alive though I think before we all go to bed tonight someone should at least tend to his wounds so he doesn't die before I get the information I want out of him. This is going to take a while. I forgot how ******** stubborn that man is." She looked down at Jaime and grinned as she knelt down beside him. Head tilted to the side slightly as she looked at him she ran a clawed finger down his cheek over and over. "Wakey wakey. Time to wake up tracker boy."
Sam frowned and sighed. "Give it a shot then." She put an arm around him and hugged him against her. "Just don't be discouraged if it doesn't work ok?"

"you let the other guy bleed everywhere... this one should be ok shouldn't he" Damian asked thoughtfully. he was already off in his own mind, probably lost in it as well Brett let himself get pulled in to Sam's hug, he hardly noticed it however he was already focusing he hope they weren't too far out of town if they were.

"Yes?" Jaime said, suddenly fully awake and startling the s**t out of Damian. He stood, and stretched, his shirt pulling tight over a muscled chest.
Kurai let out a low whistle of appreciation, causing Jaime to lift 1 eyebrow.
Tala finished her cleanup and came into the living room. She appeared to look like a giant shrimp, and glomped Damian.

"The other one I assume got home and healed by Sam. Toad or someone probably called her in that night. We need him alive until I get what I need out of him, other wise I wouldn't give two shits if he was as injured as he is." Her attention went to Jaime and a smile spread across her face. "Well, once Tala is done cleaning up the mess she made in Kelvin's bedroom, if she hasn't already, we're gonna have a mini party to welcome you to the group...and it'll also be a belated one for Damian too since things have been...hectic....since he got together with us."

"AHHH I GETTING RAPPED BY A SHRIMP" Damian said trying to run from the Tala shrimp but failed and was now being gomped. "I'M BEING VIOLATED BY SEAFOOD!"

"Ah shaddap, you know you like it!" Tala hooted, straddling Damian and tickling him.
Kurai had tears of laughter streaming down her face.
Jaime stared, with one eyebrow raised, looking especially Vulcan (minus the pointy ears).

Kit's ears drooped and she sighed. Getting up from the floor she walked past Damien and Tala, shoving them over in the process, and went into the kitchen. A few minutes later she came out with two good sized bottles of vodka and managed to balance a few shot glasses along with the bottles as she came back. Sitting down next to Jaime she grinned and opened up one of the bottles. "C'mon kids. Calm down or mum won't let ya drink." She said jokingly as she poured the shots and handed them to each one of them.
Sam looked at him and saw he was concentrating on using his power. She hoped it worked out.
Mortimer felt this odd sensation in the back of his eyes then instantly recognized the feeling. "Brett." He whispered and forced his eyes open.

 Brett managed to locate him he was nearly out of range. as Brett looked trough his eyes the left seemed fussy like it was injured. he could see trees and what not but one of the trees he could see was kinda unique it didn't seem indigenous to the area. 'hmm that kind of tree seems familiar and out of place' he wasn't able to maintain the long distance connection and went back to his normal blindness "i think i have a idea where he might be" he said to Sam. Damian tried to escape the shrimp molestation and scramble over to kit where he hid behind her in he tails hoping Tala shrimp wouldn't try and get him again

Tala dispelled the illusion and skipped over to Kit. "OK!" She sat crosslegged on the floor, then ran and got the orange juice from the fridge.
"Chicken." Kurai grinned at her.
Jaime snagged the first shot poured and knocked it back. "Hit me"
