You know you're going to have to post all this delicious information, right? razz

The different drinks are based first on ingredients and then on process.

Beer- Barley, Hops, Water, Yeast
Ale- Malted Barley, bittering agents etc, water and yeast: brewed warm.
Lager- Like an ale, but brewed cold.
Lambic- ale made with wild yeasts
Kriek- Lambic made with sour cherries and wild yeasts

Mead- brewed honey
Melomel- mead with fruit
Metheglin- mead with herbs or spices

Pyment- mead fermented with grape juice

Wine- fermented grape juice, though some people include other fruits in front of the wine when discussing other fermented fruit juice

Kijafa- fermented cherry juice
Cider- fermented apple juice
Perry- fermented pear juice


The list of all the other kinds of fermented fruit drinks is really really long.

They're some of my favorite.

We have more plant starts, more herb seeds and more brewing supplies now.

Went to the Royal Ontario Museum today. I think if there are school groups, you should get in half price. Man they were loud and they crowd your space when you're reading stuff. I wanted to see an Egyptian mummy but there was literally a child hanging off the display.

I also rode the subway for the first time ever. It was pretty cool.

More window boxes and more seeds today. I also found a new cafe and art studio. You can make things on their sewing machines with recycled sweaters or fleece and have delicious coffee too!
