All the time Ren just smiled a slight smile trying not to start any more arguments with Spencer. He found this kinda hard considering that Spencer was his rival and also putting some sneaky insults in his comments and acting all cute. He vowed to beat him senseless after he was all healed. Hey Spence, you're forgetting I know field magic. It may not be as highly advanced as Mitsuke's but I can pretty much completely null the pain and get you walking for at least 6 hours. And there aren't any risks, I swear. He said showing that his fingers weren't crossed. The only limit is that you have to be back in your bed or wheelchair when the medicine wears off, or you'll be in a heap of pain. He had been taught how to null pain and make the injured feel better so they could continue fighting on the battle field. It was field magic but it was the best there was to make people feel like they weren't even injured. (Like pain killers.)

"Pain killers are nice, but they don't really do anything except make you hurt yourself worse, no offense." Spencer said, trying to keep his statements as insult free as he could get them, "Thanks anyway though."

"Well actually it isn't a pain killer. It temporarily heals the wound. On some levels that is. Like, if you were to lose an arm this magic wouldn't make it regrow but for as long as it works it would feel as though it had been like that for a long time. However if you have a few broken bones it would restore them to full working condition until it wore off." He said trying to explain it in short sentences. The logic of this Spell is very complicated so it takes a while to fully understand it. Which is why you may not understand it yet but to put it simply. If I use this magic for the next 6 hours it will be like you have stayed in your bed and healed up back to normal again and when it wears off your body wouldn't have felt any pain or stress from doing what you did during those 6 hours. And it will NOT be my first time using this spell on a human so I have experience doing this, ok?" He stopped there for an answer.

"But the rebreaking of the bones after the spell would hurt like hell..." Mitsuke said from the doorway, dressed in a nightgown and rubbing her eyes, she glared at them, "I have got to remove that patient alert from my alarmclock."
Alanna waved meekly, smiling slightly, "Hello Mitsuke..." she sniffed, "and daughter."
Mitsuke blinked, and smiled, patting the little girl behind her on the head, "Well, so dragons are like bloodhounds"

(Wait is Alanna still supposed to be naked? Because there is a little kid in her presence.)

"Hey Docter," He said, using her medical rank, "Do you think you could do something about my injuries, I would be eternally greatful." hE said, then added, "If you need a babysitter I'm great with kids." Which was true, one of his part time jobs was being a subtitute teacher at one of the schools, the kids adored him.
((Myst, is Mitsuke's kid in school yet?))

The little girl nodded, "It's mister Spencer"
Mitsuke smiled down at her daughter, then turned a critical eye to Spencer, "Sure." she shrugged and walked over, before freezing when she heard a, "Is that daddy?" from behind her.
The little girl was looking at Ren, frowning slightly, 'He looks like daddy."

Ren was confused and not sure what to do. The little girl thought that he was her dad even though he obviously wasn't. But on the other hand he couldnt tell the little girl that he wasn't her father without her crying or something. "Um...well, I may look like your daddy but...Well.....just call me Uncle Ren ok?" He said trying to at least be halfway like her father.
