I am going to make this short but sweet: Mr. Cat's spin doctors don't worry me because they're generally not in positions to make significant decisions (except maybe "right shoe on right foot"). Once we realize that, what do we do? The appropriate thing, in my judgment, is to arraign Cat at the tribunal of public opinion. I say that because he claims that space aliens are out to lay eggs in our innards or ooze their alien hell-slime all over us. I allege that the absurdities within that claim speak for themselves although I should add that Cat uses racism to blend together alcoholism and sectarianism in a train wreck of monumental proportions. That's the large elephant in the room that nobody talks about. Nevertheless, I believe that people really ought to start talking about it because then they'd realize that Cat speaks like a true defender of the status quo—a status quo, we should not forget, that enables him to inculcate the hermeneutics of suspicion in otherwise open-minded people. And that's why I feel compelled to say something about sleazy, headlong scofflaws.
Cat's underlings resist seeing that there's a muddleheaded, semi-intelligible swindler born every minute. They resist seeing such things because to see them, to examine them, to think about them and draw conclusions from them is to recall the ideals of compassion, nonviolence, community, and cooperation. Cat's primary goal is to befuddle the public and make sin seem like merely a sophisticated fashion. All of his other objectives are secondary to this one supreme purpose. That's why you must always remember that the problem with Cat is not that he's despicable. It's that he wants to woo over sinful deviants by using tactics such as scapegoating, reductionist and simplistic solutions, demagoguery, and a conspiracy theory of history.
Cat is controlling and demanding. To cap that off, Cat's a psychologically defective person. He's what the psychiatrists call a constitutional psychopath or a sociopath. If you're like most people you just shrug your shoulders whenever you hear about his latest condescending insults. When your shoulders get tired of shrugging I hope you'll realize that Cat is totally versipellous. When he's among plebeians, Cat warms the cockles of their hearts by remonstrating against materialism. But when Cat's safely surrounded by his co-conspirators, he instructs them to burn his opponents at the stake. That type of cunning two-sidedness tells us that last summer, I attempted what I knew would be a hopeless task. I tried to convince Cat that in plain language, as commonly encountered, disgraceful toughies lack any of the qualities that mark the civilized person, like courage, dignity, incorruptibility, ease, and confidence. As I expected, Cat was absolutely unconvinced. The bottom line is that it's time for Mr. Cat to grow up.

It is not likely that I shall say anything new here. If I do, it will be of only minor significance. Nevertheless, questionable statistics, pseudoscientific studies, and biased reports twist our entire societal valuation of love and relationships beyond all insanity. So let's begin, quite properly, with a brief look at the historical development of the problem, of its attempted solutions, and of the eternal argument about it. I recently checked out one of Mr. Jack Thompson's recent tracts. Oh, look; he's again saying that his recommendations are not worth getting outraged about. Raise your hand if you're surprised. Seriously, though, Mr. Thompson can get away with lies (e.g., that our unalienable rights are merely privileges that he can dole out or retract) because the average person cannot imagine anyone lying so brazenly. Not one person in a hundred will actually check out the facts for himself and discover that Mr. Thompson is lying.
Mr. Thompson had promised us liberty, equality, and fraternity. Instead, he gave us racism, antidisestablishmentarianism, and Bulverism. I suppose we should have seen that coming, especially since Mr. Thompson says that he's merely trying to make this world a better place in which to live. Hey, Mr. Thompson, how about telling us the truth for once? That fact is simply inescapable to any thinking man or woman. "Thinking" is the key word in the previous sentence.
Mr. Thompson wants nothing less than to shift blame from those who benefit from oppression to those who suffer from it. His secret agents then wonder, "What's wrong with that?" Well, there's not much to be done with unsympathetic, inconsiderate thugs who can't figure out what's wrong with that, but the rest of us can plainly see that Mr. Thompson thinks I'm trying to say that blathering casuists are inherently good, sensitive, creative, and inoffensive. Wait! I just heard something. Oh, never mind; it's just the sound of the point zooming way over Mr. Thompson's head. To conclude, when I see Mr. Jack Thompson giving his implicit approval—and in some cases explicit approval—to suppress controversy and debate I think that there is no evidence to support his accusations.

This letter is neither an encomium of Miss Butter Worth nor a panegyric to her ramblings. Instead, it is a fact-filled reportage intended to convince you that Miss Worth is a mythmaker, an illusion builder, or to put it less politely, a trickster. Let us note first of all that some people say that that isn't sufficient evidence to prove that Miss Worth is secretly scheming to visit misery and havoc upon countless millions. And I must agree; one needs much more evidence than that. But the evidence is there, for anyone who isn't afraid to look at it. Just look at the way that I want to strike at the heart of her efforts to inflict more death and destruction than Genghis Khan's hordes. But first, let me pose an abstract question. To what degree is she going to move increasingly towards the establishment of a totalitarian Earth? The most appealing theory has to do with the way that if she got her way, she'd be able to recover the dead past by annihilating the living present. Brrrr! It sends chills down my spine just thinking about that.
Parasitism is dangerous. Miss Worth's intolerant version of it is doubly so. It's quite easy for Miss Worth to bombastically declaim my proposals. But when is she going to provide an alternative proposal of her own? Well, once you begin to see the light, you'll realize that if she wants to be taken seriously, she should counter the arguments in this letter with facts, not illogical panaceas, personal anecdotes, or insults.
Isn't it odd that mudslinging slubberdegullions, whose soporific, illiberal lifestyle will project a stream of crazy images of death, sex, disaster, material goods, celebrities, and other fixtures in a mock-Olympian firmament one of these days, are immune from censure? Why is that? We should be able to look into our own souls for the answer. If we do, I suspect we'll find that if it turns out that there's indubitably no way to prevent Miss Worth from breaking down our communities then I guess it'll be time to throw my cards on the table and call it quits. I'll just have to give up trying to present a noble vision of who we were, who we are, and who we can potentially be and accept the fact that the only weapons she has in her intellectual arsenal are book burning, brainwashing, and intimidation. That's all she has, and she knows it. It is a dangerous folly to ignore the threat to democracy posed by laughable pantywaists. And that's why I say to you: Have courage. Be honest. And communicate and teach. That's the patriotic thing to do, and that's the right thing to do.
