I suppose that's one way to look at it.
What can I say? I don't like conflict. confused

neither do I...but it's always nice to know that you won't get the s*** beaten out of you when you inevitably get into these situations...at least, that's why I spar with my friends
conflict is a necessary evil...I hate it as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but it isn't going away in our lifetime, so we must fall back on that noblest of animalistic influences: Survive
I guess that makes me a hypocrate...oh well, ideas catch on eventually...

Yeah I'm sure as hell.
And it's not godmoding. It's just quick thinking and proper usage of battle movement. Godmoding is like flicking your face and your brain implodes from within or something.
And in the position you're currently in, you can't do any damage from twisting my wrist.
@Red: If this wasn't friendly sparring I'd have smeared his bloody pixels all over the thread by now.

no, it was godmoding when you automatically assumed that the strike connected and 'flooring' me. You're thinking Godmode, where you are invincible and most/all of your attacks are epicly strong
I was confused with the apparent difference, but that's how I explain them...if I'm wrong, oh well, there is a difference somewhere
and I'm not going for pain, I'm going for not-getting-hit, and it was the best option
*rolls forward with Bapp's wrist still stuck*

They aren't strong. They WORK. It's a difference. I'm not even using strength to hold you down. I'm putting you in a position where you can't channel your strength properly. Thus it isn't godmoding. It's more technique. I may be an idiot but I know my kung fu.
In order words, you can't roll either. Unless you were to sever your arm off, maybe you can.

I believe we have differing mental images...because if somebody is kneeling on my wrist in the mental image I have, a forward roll is entirely plausible without bodily harm...well, maybe some slight stretching, but that's not the point
This is going nowhere anyway...

That wasn't the image I had in mind, but I don't see how you can front roll even if my knee was on your wrist. You'd dislocate your shoulder. Because the arm-shoulder joint doesn't really go 360 degrees.
Yeah, this isn't getting anywhere. I'd beat you in a fight anyday, anyway.
