You know what'd be kind of cool, if all the people who played games could get together in some game sometime. I'unno, just a thought from my nerdy gamer head. I've played EQ and EQ2 briefly at a friends place, but I have WoW myself.

Sending it now Ananda. ^_^ It's not much, but it's all I've got right now.

Hehe if you met here, I'd be obliged to serve it up...or take you guys on a culinary tour of Austin. It's not the biggest city, but let me just say this...it's got one of the highest restaurants per capita in the US...it's in the top 10.

I think it'd be fun to have you guys here. However, I'm sure it'd be fun near abouts anywhere. The way I look at it...I'm going to have an adventure with food and friends, and you can't go wrong with that in my book.

*pokes Syrne to see if he asplodes!*

I think Austin would be a great place to visit. Have you heard of a little town called Jefferson? Do you know how close to Austin it is?

Jefferson's a good stretch NE of Austin, it seems. It's closer to Dallas...it'd be quite a jaunt to get there from here. smile I've never been there, though.

Ah. My husband's family lives in Jefferson, so I was just thinking that if we had the AoG get together in Austin and they weren't too far apart, we could visit both.

How long did they visit? Must have been hard to have to say goodbye, if you were up late with them, hanging out!

Well, I'm guessing it'd be a 4-6 hour trip from the map looks. So, theoretically, you might start a trip here, or there and end up in one place or the other. If your hubby's a Texan, then he'd probably not think it's a horrible trip. wink

Austin would work for me. I've got family in Dallas and Houston and a friend who's somewhere between Houston and Austin, although he may be moving to San Antonio sometime in the future, be it near or far.

San Antonio's a short trip from here. It's also where I was born. wink Not that I stayed there...but it's where I got my inherent Texicanity.
