nope, gravity's a funny thing that way
see, if you're floating, you don't need to worry about balance. And when that isn't a problem, you can throw a mean kick from pretty much any direction
or you can push off the walls of the pool and rocket-punch someone...those are killer
besides, on land fighting is more of a pain

You can throw a pretty mean kick in any direction but it won't hit harder. And rocket-punching from springing off a wall underwater is still weaker than a jumping punch from below on land.
You experience less gravity going up underwater, but also less when going down, so even downward strikes don't hit very hard.
Your theories do not work when it comes to real-life fighting, young nerd.

I have permission to make it that?
but really, in any non-martial arts setting, when is a jumping punch going to be feasible? maybe if you're getting mugged...and you happen to be in such a position that allows for such a punch...
I prefer my style of fighting anyway...dodge, block, and wait for a change to kick 'em in the stomach

Who in their right mind would throw a jumping punch in a real fight? That'd be stupid.
Psh, that's all? You can dodge and block all you want, but the moment you try to kick I'd take you down instantly.

Whoever said I was that gayish green spandex wearing thick eyebrow bowl cut freak? His flames of passion are kinda remarkable though.
Yep, Team Rocket are pacifists. They don't fight. They let their pets do it in the name of animal instinct.
I myself, won't pick fights randomly. I fight if people pick fights with me biggrin

Haha I agree. I only fight if it's worth it. And even then I don't throw punches. I prefer insulting people with friendly words. Makes 'em think. >=D

...or saying something so unbelievable intellectual and ambiguous they're too busy thinking 'WTH did he just say?' to finish trying to punch you
it works for me all the time!

I don't usually fight outright, but I'll talk down to the other person without a second thought. "Heh... you really are an idiot..."

My wit is sharper than your fist, take that you imbecile!
...come to think of it, somebody actually tried to start a fight with me in 7th grade...I dodged and laughed my a** off...can't fight without laughing, strangely enough

The only "fights" I've personally been apart of were both against cowardly punks who waited 'til my back was turned to try attacking. Neither were worth the time/effort to actually get into anything, so I just broke clear and went about my business (with a "you're more pathetic than I thought" thrown in for good measure)

@Mabo: Exactly! =D lol
The last fight I was in was...I think back in middle school, and it was one of those petty-drama-preteen-girl fights. It was stupid, and I don't even remember what it was about XD
I try to stay out of that crap. That's why I went all through high school without having to deal with stupid fights like that.
I've never been in a fistfight though...

Fistfights, I guess I've been in a few. Although I lost them because I didn't hit back. It was a friend of mine and he had anger-management problems. And for some reason because I'm one of the few guys in school that CAN fight he decided to take it out on me (or maybe he was angry with me, but whatever).
Long time since I fought with anyone though >> Stupid taekwondo teacher cancelling all sparring sessions. DAMMIT~~~~
The way girls fight is the scariest. The just b***h to each other and grind each other down psychologically. Then they start clawing each other.
It's not like men's fights where we can end it with a few traded punches. You have to watch the drama unfold before you and give drama back or she's gonna get her girlfriends to do petty things and be a b***h to you like throw your pencil case off the table and go 'Whoops, sorry' or dump a cafeteria lunch on your head etc.
