BlueRoseTorn Then again, I have a terribly sick and morbid sense of humour, which would explain my love for shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, and Metalocalypse. I have a hard time getting into shows that don't match that. "Rocko's Modern Life" and "Ren and Stimpy" were two of my favorite shows when I was a kid. And Sailor Moon. STILL love that one and I'm almost 30.

EternalHearts Nuri Actually, this is me just having fun with it now. I think that occasionally he has good points but again, totally the wrong way. Heck, I think that kindergarden Hellenic thing he wrote was sorta cute. HEHEHE. Too bad not many other people can see the humor in the situation.Hehe, it's gone beyond humour for me now. I just fantasise about hitting him with a baseball bat.

patch99329 You know, having multiple males fawn over you is no where near as fun as it sounds. confused Depends on the context and the person. I know at the old blots I attended, I felt "sun burnt" by the attention I received.

patch99329 You know, having multiple males fawn over you is no where near as fun as it sounds. confused I'd love to speak from personal experience on this, but I can't. I've seen what it does to other people. I've seen a variety of reactions. Some flourish in it, having enough self esteem to take it as a source of personal validation. Some feed on it. I don't like this reaction. It can be damaging to Self in the long term, by confusing attention based on aesthetic beauty as a form of affection (yes, genuine affection can come from relationships starting on pure attraction, this is not what I'm talking about here) Some hate it. I think I'd probably react like that, I suffer from social anxiety in a pretty bad way. Some just shrug it off.

I tend to think "Hey, these guys are really friendly, excellent!" and think no further on it, continue chatting, then have it pointed out to me afterwards by amused friends.
Little successes are great. I made buttonholes last night in a piece I'm knitting, and they don't look too bad for a first effort.

Bah, it gets annoying when you like neither of them in that way yet they feel the need to compete like 10 year olds.

Been rewatching it since it's summer and I'm about halfway through SuperS. ^_^ I've never been able to find Utena. sad I looooooove Utena. It uses a lot of the same animation shortcuts as SM (using the exact same clips for transformations to save money, heh; sensitive to this stuff since my gf is a professional animator) but it's a gorgeous series and worth it anyway. It's very very bizarre though, so some people just can't get into it. Plus, it has fencing. I took fencing in grade school and though I'd be hopeless at it now, it still holds a place in my heart. heart And it has a very sexy cross-dressing girl who wants to be a prince and becomes engaged to the Rose Bride. biggrin
