Heres and idea, What if the Mandalorians hadn't been defeated in the Mandalorian Wars? What if they had figured Revans plan and instead laid waste to the Republic Fleet and the Jedi there.
What if for the next 4 thousand years the whole Galaxy were under siege, with the Republic slowly losing?
That'd be an interesting arc, eh?

Are you sure it's from Hell, and not just haunted by the ghost of a drunken jock who liked to mess with the nerds? Are you a Lambda Lambda Lambda, and is that ghost jock an Alpha Beta? That would explain a lot of things.
