- jello, though a respectable judge, isn't the only one. he's also either busy or lazy... either are a perfectly acceptable reason why he's not been around here. so don't expect to see him check your fight if you throw the bill cosby signal up in the air.
- don't mention gtb here, which i think you just did.
- judges aren't on call, watching the fights. they only show up if there's a problem in the fight the competitors can't solve themselves. ryugi said this already. i also already said that if you expect that you'll have to use a judge just to get through the fight, you're doing it wrong.
- if you mentioned the other battle arenas, they're dramafilled and suck. so try not to mention those if you can.
- but definitely don't mention gtb.

No GTB name-drop here.
Also, I intend to solve any dispute with my opponent first. If that cannot happen, I hope to have a quick ruling. So, X, if you would judge when called upon, I would greatly appreciate that.
Though I must admit, I've had the LEAST problems with Leviathan out of my prior experiences. Oh yes, despite the arguments during my one HoH fight, it was rather small in comparison to what I've had before.
Either I won't give in, or my opponent won't. Such is why I always anticipate lengthy OOC arguments.

One last thing, @ Legend:
I've been RP fighting for about 9 years now, all told. I will tell you the single, most important piece of advice I've garnered from my experience:
When in doubt, give the benefit of the doubt to your opponent.
If there's any sort of conflict, choose the option that favors your opponent's character over your own. If both players extend that same courtesy to one another, the battle goes from a bitter competition to compare epenis sizes, to a battle that is fun to play out, challenging to you as a player, and interesting for people uninvolved to read and enjoy.
Unless something incredibly blatant like tournament godmoding is going on, you should never have a reason to call in a neutral party. If you do, you're doing it wrong.
