*kaiori dashes down to KB, picking up the sleeping child she rushes back to Than, she was careful not to wake him, kaiori keeps the gem tightly in one hand as she walks out*

*Ah, the normal voice they'd heard from the screens returned. With that, Trilla and Eecheb turn back to the window again to look out over the black blotches that were buildings below. Nana goes over to join the children; the new barrier would soon be up, and Mastema needed to concentrait*

*Than would scramble to grab some things before heading up to the roof of the two story building. Kai would find herself on the streets again, the barrier fading oddly. Than rushed over to the side of the roof top and looked down to see Kai* Kaiori-san! There's a new barrier going up right now! Between one going down and the new one going up is your chance. *He pointed clearly down a street* Run that way as fast as you can, it's the closest way to the edge of the citadel. The new barrier will be partly raised by the time you get there, but the area right at the end of this street will be extremely soft, like gel. Jump through it and you'll be free. Gomen nasai, I can't say anymore right now.... so just start running that way as quick as you can and you'll get out. Sayonara, Kaiori-san.... I'll see you again soon.... I hope..... *Than's seven wings sprout and he starts gathering energy, hoping Kai wouldn't hesitate to leave him behind so quickly*

*Mastema closes his eyes and goes into concentration. After about 30 seconds, it would be easy to see a liquid, water like wall rising as a dome over the citadel from the outer limits to right over the tower, so it would look like the liquid was coming towards the tower slowly*

*kaiori's eyes start to water slightly* alright Than...come see me soon alright !! *she hugs KB tighter and starts down the street, she was fast, her bare feet smack the ground as she speeds towards the barrier, she knew if she looked back..she wouldn't be able to leave him*

*Than smiled softly. Seeing the barrier start to rise, he slammed his hand into the roof and started concentrating his energy. Within minutes, golden, beautifully swirling energy would rise out of the ground and into the air, covering the citadel while feeding the barrier. Than didn't have to make such a large effect, though beautiful. The one purpose of this aura smoke screen, so to speak, was to hide Kai. As the energy rose around Kai, she would probably figure out the purpose easily. The barrier sucks up the energy slowly and starts to harden. However, the area right in front of Kai would remain soft enough to jump through, as Than had said, while looking quite a bit softer than the hardening barier around it*

*Nana and the children watch in awe at the raising of the new barrier. By now even Micha had his eyes open, and was watching from over Nana's shoulder. Nana turns slightly, look out another of the windows from a far. Micha looks up a little; the image of Kaiori was trapped in his eyes. He had caught site of the escaping Kaiori, and stares out blankly as he always seemed to do, showing no signs of anything. No one would know what he saw but him*

*kaiori pushes herself until her legs feel like they are going to fall off, holding KB tightly she crashes full force into the barrier, bursting through she gasps and stumbles to a stop, she turns around and looks at Than with terribly sad eyes, she didn't want to leave him*

*Than was still crouched and arms on the roof. Gold energy filled the air, illuminated the citadel in a brillian gold light. Kai wouldn't be able to see Than for long, before the barrier she'd broken through covered over and started to solidfy. By now it would be moderately difficult for anything to break in or out of that barrier*

*Trilla and Eecheb watch in awe at the aura floating about in the sky. Now the citadel was a little lit up. Nana smiles lightly; that which would protect them was now rising into place. Micha continues to stare out at Kaiori as the gel started to re-seal itself and blur her image*

*Mastema soon comes out of his state. The barrier was hard enough to hold itself up. The rest was up to Than. He walked up beside Nana and put an arm around her waist*

*Nana turns her head to Mastema, smiles lightly, and leans toward him a little. Micha had closed his eyes again, his coloring was a little better now, and being held by Nana for so long, had warmed him up a bit aswell*

*Trilla and Eecheb were still watching the swirls of golden aura, swirl about in the sky, and were looking at the odd stuff that had made the big bubble over them and the other buildings below; it was alot to take in*
