Benjamin sighed. "Sí, lo sé. Usted es el punto? Todo el mundo es un monstruo. Diablos, yo estoy ayudando a esconder un par de dragones. Dragones! Yo soy un loco, claro. Ahora lee la carta y tomar sus pastillas." Benjamin laughed a little and offered the letter and the bottle of pills towards the crack Icarus had made. [OOC:]Yes, I do. You're point? Everyone's a freak. Heck, I'm helping you with hiding a pair of dragons. Dragons! I'm a freak, clearly. Now read your letter and take your pills.

Icarus opened the door more, adjusting the blanket around her shoulders. She took the pills and the letter, looking it over some. She put the bottle in her pocket before looking up at Benjamin a little. "Thanks... You... can come in if you want.." she muttered, going and sitting back on her bed, leaving the door open for the Spaniard. As she sat there, she opened the letter, wondering who it was from.

Benjamin did come in, closing the door behind him. But he only did so to make sure she took the pills.
The letter bore an interesting seal on the outside of a dragon inside of what looked like an ice crystal. The front read in blue ink: To Ms. Icarus but had no sender.

Icarus curiously peered at the seal then opened the envelope. She opened it, wondering what the letter was going to say. She had never gotten a handwritten letter before. She'd barely gotten any to begin with. She then glanced to Benjamin. "That lineage book. Look up anything to do with ice or dragons." she said, before going back to the paper in her hands and unfolding it.

Benjamin decided to skip the battle of arguing with Icarus, and he unzipped his bag, pulling out the lineage book and sitting at a table.
The letter was written in a smooth, slanted handwriting and read:
Hello, Icarus. I'm sure you are curious as to whom this letter is from, but I am afraid that will have to wait until later, unless you figure this out on your own. I will tell you this: I do hope you stay at Mesilici. It is the safest place for you right now. I cannot explain fully what is happening, but I will tell you this: Powerful people want you dead. I have taken you case from the courts, making myself your legal guardian. You should be untrackable by that account now, and as I am well acquainted with the school, you are safe and cared for at Mesilici. I am sorry I could not tell you all of this myself in person, but the same threats that hang above your head hang above mine. There are two others right now at the school that share something in common with you. More are coming. Soon enough, you'll all know why you are at Mesilici. Until you find out, please, stay there. Make friends, or allies if you prefer. But be wary of your enemies.

Icarus reread the letter a few times before groaning a little. "I wish people would stop being so darn cryptic with me..." she grumbled, setting the letter aside and laying back on her bed.

Benjamin disregarded Icarus' random comment, and came to stand beside here. "Here, I've got something. There was a teacher here, Luke. He found an ice dragon and named it Kaitani. Apparently, he met his wife because she knew how to care for the ice dragon and he needed her help. Well, the dragon grew up. Later, another dragon came to the school and they got together. They moved into the mountains and weren't seen again." [OOC:] Wouldn't it be cool if the reason all the artifacts are compiled together is if there was some sort of apocalypse that ended everyone living in the castle? That would explain why Kaitani and Shiro's lineages are still alive: They didn't live at Mesilici.

Icarus sat up again and grabbed the envelope, looking at the seal. It was an ice dragon. She thought for a moment. "I think Kaitani is still alive. I think he sent me this letter."

[OOC:] So, humans invaded the castle, killed everyone living there! Benjamin frowned and looked at the book. "If that's true, he's pretty old, pájaro. Maybe its one of his kids, or someone related to him."

Icarus sighed some and nodded a little. "Maybe you're right... But why would they even concern themselves with me?" she mused, laying back down. She stared at the ceiling some before glancing to Benjamin. "Anyways... the letter told me... to make allies... I... I guess you'll do for number one, Spain." she mumbled before getting her pills out.

"Tal vez usted está relacionado con ellos, pájaro," he said, shrugging and closing the book. He went back to the table, grabbed his bag, and stuffed the book back in. He'd just missed a couple of classes, but he wasn't all that worried. It didn't appear that teachers took roll. They treated this more like college, where you were only expected to show up for important tests and such. So it was time for lunch, and he'd missed his elective--art--and Spanish. Not that he needed to take Spanish. He wondered if he could get transferred out... "Te voy a llevar algo de comida." [OOC:] 1. "Maybe you're related to them, bird." 2. "I'll bring you some food."

Icarus sighed some and nodded. She took out a pill and downed it,laying back in her bed. "Alright, thanks Spain..." she said, pulling the blanket over herself. She then began to drift off as the pill began to take effect. Soon she was out cold, sleeping soundly.

Benjamin nodded and left, leaving the door unlocked as he left. He paused for a moment outside the door, wishing he could do something to make sure that nobody would bother Icarus. But he shrugged and left, heading down the hallway. Little did he know that a couple of snoopy preps would be driven away from Icarus' door by something they couldn't explain... He headed to the dining hall, to find that people were a lot nicer to him now. They kept calling him Saint Spain, guys were high fiving him, girls were batting their eye lashes, and nobody was giving him dirty looks. It was super weird, so he just got the food and left. They were serving fried chicken and rice, which was still eatable with chopsticks, so he grabbed those and took the plate to Icarus. He left it on a table, hoping that it would stay warm.

Icarus soon woke upon smelling food. And it smelled good. She yawned and stretched a little before looking over at the food. Benjamin had long since left, but the food was still warm. Icarus smiled and started to eat, enjoying the meat and the very well done rice. Soon she put her plate down, looking at the letter again. Was it Kaitani? Who was after her? So many questions, so little answers...

When the end of the school day arrived with no sign of Icarus during his history class, Benjamin decided to check up on the little pájaro. When he got to her room, he decided to play it safe and knock, rather than entering on his own like he had with the food. He shifted on his feet, wondering if he was being a little stupid.
