Sarias hadn't waited long to go puke her invisible guts up after watching some of the sights in this prom. Upon leaving Seiji who she eyed with lust and ownership every time a ghoul came under his gaze she had allowed him to play his silly little drums and mingle with the lower beings to his hearts content. What ever made him...happy she guessed although she would have to punish him later for having such weak and pathetic feelings she had begrudging left him alone. Now though she sauntered through the crowds and the dancing, trying to pick out a worthy creature to torment and bully, possibly even cut a little. She never left home without a collection of sharp pointy things and her nails had been specially fashioned into razors for this lovely evening. She eyed up flimsy straps, bare flesh and eager faces waiting to be swiped at. It just depended on who bumped into or pissed her off first. Although there were a few contenders she was already aiming for.

Na'ima perked up excitedly at the mention of moths. "You must point this one out to me if you see her again." First her little lotus filly and now a moth child? Oh, happy day. Her fingers drummed idly along Mmur's arm in beat with the music playing. It was certainly a lively event! Even the stallion to her other side didn't seem immune to it, if anything Jing looked and felt ready to just leave them and throw himself into the fray. Na'ima smirked a bit and considered her options regarding Jing, completely forgetting her face was not covered with its usual veil to hide her scheming expression. Mmur's compliment was enough to draw her out of her thoughts, offering the Famine stallion a warm smile and releasing his arm to playfully tap his nose. "Thank you, Mmur. I have Jing and his adorable little sister to thank for this dress. I think Salbei hated it~." Na'ima sounded rather delighted about that. She respected Salbei, loved and adored him even, but doing things he disapproved of every now and then was always fun. She knew what he would do, silently disapprove from afar, but he wouldn't stay cross with her for long. He never did. "Yes, you do look lovely, Jing." Na'ima agreed with an affectionate squeeze to his arm. Mmur was more her style in terms of attire but she could not deny Jing did look very good. The Famine mare lit up with delight at the suggestion they dance. She released both of her dates to clasp her hands together just under her chin. "Yes! Oh, yes! I want to da--" There was yelling. Much yelling. She watched Hel run off. Ah, the noisy little thing Sal had 'adopted'. Impressive lungs to be yelling so loudly Na'ima could clearly hear her over the music. "..These young ones grow up so quickly. Love potions, sex and marriage? They're all so little.." Na'ima didn't sound disapproving, on the contrary she sounded curious. What made them do these things so soon? She wanted to see how this whole little 'wedding' thing turned out, but she had to remember she wasn't alone tonight. "You simply need the right partner, dear Jing. I've been told I dance quite well," Na'ima announced proudly, placing a hand against her chest and puffing up proudly. This music was not what she was used to but Na'ima felt she could dance to anything. "If you still wish to dance, I will dance with you. Mmur?"Bloodlust Dante Yes Na'ima just made a short joke regarding Ying. dwi

Wolf? Ghouls before boils? Yves' eyes narrowed at Zel, Tavi's words not really making any sense to him as he allowed his gaze to drift down to the former's hindquarters to observe the lack of a bushy tail that might hint at him being the wolf that the kitsune was referring to. Alright. Maybe he was wrong about Zel from the start. He gave a small snort of acceptance at the boil's clarification of his relationship with Tavi and crouched to the little kitsune boil's level at his gestured request, plastering an awkward smile on his face when the other produced the purple beads that were obviously meant for him.
It was really sweet of the kit really and he couldn't find it within himself to say no as he settled for a nod in response to the suggestion to go check out the game booths next. "Thank you. I'm down for anything really so long as you have yourself an enjoyable time." He still didn't know who exactly he should be giving a good shaking to for almost ruining Tavi's evening but he figured that that really didn't matter at this point so long as the kitsune enjoyed himself to the point of forgetting about it entirely to make up for it.
Torvil Yes, Yves was staring at your smexy butt Zel. DWI =3 b Cheekiebirdiee Aww Tavi... so cute... <3

The music was good and AJ enjoyed the atmosphere a lot.
Where's Maple? He was surprised that he could hear a whisper in this noisy environment.
This way.
He decided to follow the sound and exited the tent.

"Jackdammit," Roch muttered, realizing he was late--but--hugs--but-- He kissed Lark on the head one quick time. "I'm sorry, screech, but I'm already late t'get on stage," he admitted, pulling away. "I'll be back, I swear," he said, feeling like an a** even as he shadowstepped onto stage, grabbed a tall stool, and hauled it to the mic. Hopefully the others would catch on--but he figured this was a slow one so it didn't really matter. He summoned his guitar and sat on the stool, starting the next song himself. If Nahm wanted to sing, he'd have to take over, Roch thought evilly.

Somewhere along the way, Xavier had gotten lost in the shuffle, students going this way and that and basically causing general mayhem that made him really very uncomfortable.
He shuffled closer to Steffani so he could hear her more properly.
"Er," he said. "Er. Yes. Hello. Er."
A pause."Where did you say we were going again."Duke of Donut YES THANK YOU GAIA FOR NOT TELLING ME I HAD A QUOTE NOTICE I APPRECIATE IT

"Hi Hel---waitwhat?" Suddenly, he was babysitting a fluffy Wendigo? He looked down, smiling uncertainly at the little ghoul. Gosh he hoped he didn't scare her again. He wasn't used to that, being scary. Must be his height, he figured. So to scare her less, Mot crouched down, and waved his hand as a hello.

Reaching out, she offered her hand in greeting to the other ghoul before she proceeded to float around her again. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sarah." It was honestly too bad that this academy wasn't located in a colder climate. Then again, Halloween town was pretty much average temperature year round. "Mmmhm." She answered, coming to a halt in front of her. "Just arrived today, actually."
Following her gaze, she glanced from her to the others she had her gaze set upon and then back at her once again. "What's going on?"

His smile faded slightly at the news that Salbei hadn't liked her outfit, but his expression had been so exuberant already that there was barely a noticeable difference. On the one hand, Mmur wanted nothing more than to see the fabric-piled horseman happy, but on the other, defying her mentor seemed to make Na'ima happy, and that was an admirable goal as well. Well! He supposed it didn't matter. Na'ima was here now, so he would be happy for her. And, to be honest, deep down the thought of Salbei frowning over a dress was rather amusing. Mmur looked to Jing after his proclamation, his head tilted slightly to one side. It didn't help him to look any less like a creeper, but that was mostly because he wasn't blinking at the moment. He was certainly interested in dancing as well, but Na'ima seemed more excited over the prospect right this second, and he really did want to try some punch. "You two shall dance then!" he announced almost as loudly as Aymet had announced that spontaneous reaper wedding, raising his arms and pushing the pair of horsemen close. "Mind your toes!" Mmur turned and slipped into the crowd. Punch! Perhaps he'd even bring some back for his dates. He made his way to the drink table at a rapid but cautious pace, peering at his choices with a critical eye. "Blue," he said, leaning forward and sniffing at the concoction before scooping it up and downing it in one go. It was almost uncomfortably cold from a desert-dweller's perspective, and Mmur shivered, briefly and dramatically, squeezing his eyes shut against the brain freeze. When he opened them again, he was naked, small, and very furry. Quote: 6 (The Magician) = This cold drink almost tastes like a snow cone of some sort despite not having ice. Upon drinking it, you find that the world suddenly has gotten a lot bigger: congratulations, you are now the size and shape of a talking bunny rabbit! Your clothes do come back of course once you pop back into your regular form, and you're able to both talk to and understand minipets! (Hopefully you won't get mistaken for one, though)

Glowing red eyes had been watching you, Sarias. Of course once the set had ended Seiji had jumped off stage and gathered his date up again, leading her off away from the dance floor and a little more out of the way. Not exactly private, but it then no where really was in the large tent. Still the shadowy corner he'd found had served, and he'd spent a good portion of his break spending some quality time with the banshee. He came up for breath(metaphorically) when the music had faded off, brows pinching in annoyance as he glanced at the stage, then down to his date. "Duty calls," he sighed, making a bit of a show of his disappointment at the idea of leaving her company again. Blackened fingers caught her chin, and he tipped her head up one last time, stealing a kiss before drawing away. "But they don't need me for this song." It was acoustic, no drum. He was free for at least another 4 minutes before he was going to have to join the band on stage again. He was grinning, pointy teeth catching the light before his free hand circled around her waist and pulled her closer. You couldn't call it dancing, but he swayed with her in his arms, grinning down at her.

"Sure thing Riley," Jericho smiled before making his way over to the drinks table. No punch. Alright. Though, when he got there, he realized that these drinks weren't quite the usual punch, water, pop, ect. Looking over these Carnival specials, he had to wonder if they were just renamed or what. "Huh."Shrugging, he just grabbed three cups to bring back. One for himself, and one for the other two. Soon, he returned to the group. "No punch but uh.. I have... The magician, the contortionist, and the lion tamer. One for each of us?"

It had gotten a touch chaotic, what with the new students shuffling in, so if Steffani noticed Xavier's growing discomfort, well… She hadn't acknowledged it until Lark had been dragged away, laughing at her ghoul friend's misfortune. She returned her attention to Xavier then, blinking at how close he suddenly was.
Granted, it wasn't that close, but still. A few inches closer was a few inches closer! She grinned a little. "Sorry about that." She offered, holding out her hand. "Games, right? Let's get out of here before someone loses their pants."
Somehow, it just felt like a serious possibility under the Big Top Tent.

Roch had been joined by most of the band--but he caught sight of Seiji making out or something with his date, so he finished up the song and motioned to one of the gnomes he'd kept on hand for piano and bass playing--then pointed at the drums. No reason to blow a guy's good time! " In case you weren't here last time we played," Roch said into the mic, grinning evilly, " We're BLP--what's that stand for this time?" he asked, glancing at his band. " How about Big, Long--" He covered the mic and turned back to the band. "Think they'd toss me off stage if I said pulsating?" he asked. He decided not to risk it. " And Purple," he finished. Which, seriously was probably just as bad. " My name's Roch, I'm the lead guitarist--Nahm's on vocals, Mikey's on bass guitar, and Seiji is--well--busy, so we're usin' a crossdressing gnome for this next one. Trust me, it fits." Then he handed the mic back over to Nahm and they started the next song.
