Cappy remained asleep, stirring a little with a troubled look on her face. She wasn't used to being sick, since she had a strong immune system. Usually the most that would happen to her was a slight cough, and that's what she thought it was, but it had grown worse over time, obviously. Her left arm hanged off the branch whilst the other was tucked under her head like a pillow as she was oblivious to Erin's work. ~~~~~~~~~~ Clara whined and held the piece close in a defensive manner. "Eeh!" She was being stubborn again, like a child who refused to put down their favorite toy. She wanted to see Bull, since she was pretty sure he wanted to be her friend. That was why he was playing hide-and-seek earlier right? Or maybe he was just shy...? She used to be shy, especially as a kid... No, can't think of sad things right now, gotta protect her shiny piece! ~~~~~~~~~~ Clone listened to him speak of his friend with a smile on her face. From what he said it seemed that they were rather close friends. When he asked if she had any best friends her smile brightened. "Yes, I do." She said lightly, her tail beginning to wag. " They both work in the cafe with me." She said, remembering how it was Kira's idea for the waitress costumes. Yes, that was their names Kira and Belle. She wondered how they were doing; it was about their time off now.

"Nathan shot his eyes Jin's way, and once he saw who it was, he calmed down a little. He felt Jin's arms around him and felt a gentle comfort. It reminded Nathan of how he used to feel... How much he missed that feeling. It was almost the feeling he had when his mother would embrace him. 'Ay, Nathan pequeno, you will be just fine.' "...I'm just fine. It doesn't matter. Here." Nathan Shoved Jin some clothing from Luca's choices that he subconsciously grabbed while in thought before. Though he wasn't paying attention, and had given him pants from one complete outfit and a top from another complete outfit. Luca was the fashion guru. Nathan might have had standards, but he really didn't care as much about clothing. He didn't see how much busier in colors the two outfits were put together. He was too distracted to care much.
Erin was aware that she might have to take Cappy to Jeremy, but she had a sort of better idea. She closed her eyes, and waited...
"Clara," Jeremy implored, "That porcelain shard belongs to someone else. It's a part of their soul. Without it, they could be lost in the world forever, do you understand?"
Clayton grinned, having finished his food. "Yeah? Hope I get ta meet them. Ya got a lotta friends in the cafe, huh? Do ya go anywhere else? A club, maybe?"

Jin didn't laugh though he wasn't going to laugh right now. He really did want to help honestly. Nathan's picture didn't look so pretty right now. Something was wrong even more so then usual. "Nathan?..Alright you..you don't have to tell me. I only want to help." He told him He went to pick out the clothes himself he might be being nice right now but he was NOT going to dress like that. He was trying his hardest to be sensitive and caring but it was more difficult then it seemed. This was not his usual canvas he was still getting used to it. Poor Nathan's picture was a mess. He wasn't sure what he could do if the man didn't let him help him he really could do nothing. "I..I will ask Luca about your family. He can't command me not to after all." He offered. "I am going to find out what is going on here." He said now. As far as he could tell Luca was being selfish which he completely understood but he had to figure out what was going on exactly.

Nathan looked at Jin, and felt a little guilty. Wait, why was HE feeling guilty? wasn't HE the victim? He looked at Jin, and he felt he should tell Jin something... or at least, do something. Nathan did appreciate the attempt Jin was displaying. He closed his eyes, then thought of something. He would give Jin something precious to him. That way, Jin wouldn't think he was doing nothing with himself trying to be so nice to Nathan. He didn't know why he knew this was hard for Jin, but Nathan did have a sort of sixth sense for the feelings of others. Without a word, Nathan left the room. He went to the grand hallway, dusted off the old piano seat, and opened the obsidian black top covering the ivory and black keys. He took out his sheet music, than went right to pages 27 and 28 of the book. He sat down, and he pushed a key. He was surprised that it was still... Ultimately in tune. He was shy and nervous about touching the keys, but as he became more relaxed, he played louder and let his hands find their place in the familiar tune. He closed his eyes, and for the first time, Nathan smiled purely and without spite. He could imagine waves of color and a story as he played the music. Oh, it had been too long since he last played. He even forgot why he was playing... For the soul purpose of showing Jin some of his brightest color. This was his favorite song.

Jin got some clothes having picked out a more simple outfit for himself. He then heard music. Jin loved music, well any artistic pursuit at all actually. He went to find Nathan playing the piano. He had no idea Nathan could play and he was smiling. What a lovely color, beautiful. He was almost mesmerized by it. It felt incredibly special even Jin could understand the preciousness of this moment. It was like discovering an unknown painting by a long dead artist or the magnum opus of any artist at all really. He watched loving the feel and look of this painting. Nathan was a beautiful person and Jin suddenly had a strong desire to murder painfully who ever had destroyed that. If that person was still alive they were going to be brutally tortured and killed if he had anything to say about it. Yes he knew it was someone's fault, paintings like Nathan's were not marred that badly by mere poor circumstance, someone had done this and if that someone was alive he almost felt like leaving for a bit to make sure they were dead. Jin was a protective peacock but right now he was feeling a huge confidence boost from getting this very special moment. Getting a moment like this meant he was special after all it made him a little giddy. Right now he wanted to shower Nathan with attention as almost a reward so to speak but he resisted getting all mushy and lovey dovey with the man.

Nathan stopped the piece, and he didn't dare look back to see if Jin was actually there or not. "I'm sorry," He said, "I know you're just... Trying to help. I guess in his way, Luca tries to help too. But... There are a lot of things I have to figure out. I don't have my whole life planned out like Luca does. there are things I just... I'm confused, and the more I try to force it, the more confused I get. I'll tell you something I never told Luca... When I was younger, I wanted to be a pianist more than anything in the world. It's a little kid's dream, I'm over it now... but the feeling of making music for a crowd and moving them with nothing but a few chords used to make me feel so... Happy. I stopped playing a long time ago though."

Jin listened to him and smiled softly. "Why you play beautifully. Nathan there is no reason anyone should ever give up on there dream. You should pursue it." He told him passion laden in his voice. "I don't have dreams really I've been a drifter for some time. I put on different guises and become different people depending on who I'm associating myself with. Jack of all trades but master of none I suppose." he was not regretful it was just how he was. He truly did believe every one should follow their dreams though.

Clara pouted, looking at the porcelain sharp as Jeremy spoke. Part of someone's soul...? Well, it must be really important to them, then... But she really wanted to see Bull, and not have to give up the pretty shard... Did the shard belong to Bull? Is that why he was watching her? She should give it back to him, shouldn't she...? She nodded and very slowly and reluctantly, held the piece out to Jeremy for him to take.~~~~~~~~~ Cappy coughed in her sleep and finally started to wake up. She groaned quietly as she sat up on the branch, feeling dizzy. Her throat was sore and her face felt hot... She resisted the urge to whine grumpily at her sickness as she rubbed at her eyes. She coughed a couple times before looking down at Erin from the tree, what was she doing...?~~~~~~~~~ "I'm not part of any clubs, but I like to walk around town." Clone said, having finished her food as well. She then realized that she might not sound very exciting... She wasn't much of a party person, and was in fact called a 'goody-two-shoes' by those two other girls who worked in the cafe. She hoped Clayton didn't think that. She shifted a little in her seat, tail no longer wagging.

"It wasn't a dream, it was a hobby. I just haven't felt like playing, really. No reason to." He said, moving away from the piano. "I'm not allowed to be anywhere social without Luca around; It was an order." He replied, looking at the clock. "Are you hungry? It's practically lunch time."
Jeremy smiled at Clara, and gently took the porcelain into his hand. "Now all we have to do is find Caleb and we can put this shard back where it belongs." He looked around, suddenly confused. "Ah," He said with a smile, "He must be in his office." He looked down at Clara, then said, "Do you want to stay here with Hypatia or would you rather come with me to Ackrland, Clara? I know how much you don't like Caleb, and I won't force you to go."
'Part of any clubs?' That was adorable, she didn't seem to understand what he met. He blushed a bit, then looked away, getting out his phone. "Lemme call Luca to meet us somewhere. You'll like him, he's loads of fun." Clayton dialed a number and waited. "Heya Luc! Hha, YEAH it's been a while. Listen man, I'm in town! Wha? Naw, that's why I called. Got someone I'd like ya ta meet... The corner of Gridgewood n' Clark; why? Where're you?"
There was a knock at their window, and Clayton jumped, looking over. There was a man with an identical earring as Clayton's but in the other ear. He had bright sea green eyes and an expressive face with a phone to his ear. Clayton chuckled and turned off the phone. "Luca, how in tha world-"
Luca rushed to the front door to come in and nearly attacked Clayton with a hug. "OH BOO IT'S BEEN SO LONG!"
"I know! Man, how've you been?!" Clayton replied.
"I have so many stories! Wait until you here what I found; You'll just die!"
"Well Luca, there's someone here I'd like ya ta meet." He gestured to Clone.
"Awwww, you got a pretty girlfriend!"
Clayton laughed nervously, but didn't say anything.
"OH, so what's your name? I'm Luca," Luca said, offering his limp hand to her for a handshake.
Erin hummed a little, and then she rose her arm Cappy's way. The flower suddenly grew like a vine around Cappy, The flower itself went to Cappy's mouth and blossomed into a sweet-tasting, but strange looking fruit.
"Consume," Erin said with her airy smile.

Jin gave a small frown now and sighed heavily. How could adorable little Luca be so well..cruel? Hoarding dear little Nathan all to himself though he had to admit his habits were very much the same. "No I don't think I'm going to allow that. These orders are foolish and he can't command me to do anything I'm confronting him on this whole mess." He stated rather matter of factly and almost cold. "This has to stop its just not fair. I'm not one for such almost injustice. You are indeed a person not a slave. You deserve to be treated as such." The peacock said now some anger in his voice. His feathers ruffled about in distaste. True this was completely selfish Luca and Nathan were both his and if Nathan was his it meant only he was allowed to treat him so poorly. Mostly Nathan's passion for music was silenced such a crime against art would not go uncorrected it almost made him sick! He was on fire with passionate red this had to be fixed. He didn't care about rocking the boat well not a first but he thought about what if Luca tossed him out. He just needed to know why more then anything? Why would sweet lovely Luca be doing this to Nathan there had to be a reason. Was is really pure selfishness? He was having a hard time believing Luca and him were really so much alike. The demon suddenly almost fell over again. Damn not again! But if Luca and him were so much alike...did he seem to be so cruel and such a monster? He was black to his very core it never bothered him before well it hadn't since he was very small. This all reminded him that he wasn't always so black. He sunk to his knees suddenly a reached for Nathan rather pitifully. "Nathan help me." He pleaded sadly. "Please I feel so tired."

"Jin?" Nathan felt his fear heighten, and he kneeled beside Jin. "Ah-I-I don't know how; tell me what I gotta do. What do you need me to do?" Jin looked like he was horribly sick, or in pain, and Nathan couldn't let Jin continue like this. When Jin talked about confronting Luca, he couldn't help but feel a blush, but looked away before Jin could see it. What if Jin really was going to rescue him from the monstrous Luca? He wouldn't admit it, but Nathan always felt like one of those trapped damsels in a tower. He would never admit that though. Could Jin be the answer to his prayers? Whether he was or not, he couldn't let the guy suffer like he was now.
He could carry Jin to the nearest bedroom to lie down. Maybe he needed water. Wait, Jin said something about this before. Damn, Nathan suddenly felt so selfish. Why couldn't he remember?

Jin noticed the blush and gave a sudden very weak smile feeling a little better already. "You really like me don't you?" He said playfully. "I finally got to you." He gave a soft playful little laugh. Sex would work but Nathan would never agree to it. "Sorry moments of self doubt are a b***h." he laughed again pulling the man down to him and holding him tightly. He nuzzled Nathan affectionately and chuckled softly. "Sorry I suddenly understood that I'm an a**. I've done things like that to people kept them all to myself isolated them because I wanted them to be mine alone. I never got bothered about what it did to them I am incredibly selfish after all but seeing you suffer makes me reflect on what I've done." The peacock seemed sad as he spoke and trembled a little. He gave another little laugh clinging to Nathan rather tightly. "I've never really cared about anyone so much before Nathan. I know Luca does what he does because its his rather odd way of caring but its not right. You are both going to be the death of me." He said with a little laugh again. He paused again letting out a raspy breath. Do you still like me after hearing what I've done to people? Do you still want me? Do you still need me to save you little Nathan. I'm a selfish cruel creature Nathan but not to you are Luca never to you two does it..make a difference?" He was about to pass out he felt so weak but he kissed Nathan suddenly. He needed attention, affection he was starved now he just prayed the man wouldn't pull away.

Nathan listened, trying not to think of himself. Jin needed help, but he didn't know that it was affection he needed. So every time Nathan pulled away...
He gasped at the sudden kiss, but though his first instinct was to pull away, he didn't. He didn't press into the kiss either, but he stayed there, letting the kiss happen, and closed his eyes.
His heart beat fast, and he felt uncomfortable. He had to face it; he was scared. This sort of love brought him to Hell. This sort of love made him a slave. Was it even possible that this sort of love could free him? The likeliness was very scarce. But Jin was being so honest to him, and he needed Nathan. Nathan thought he hated Jin, but seeing the peacock male so vulnerable made him realize that he didn't want Jin to be in so much pain. Nathan wanted to keep Jin healthy and alive.
Nathan broke the kiss, but then lifted Jin from the ground like a groom would carry a bride. He couldn't make it to a bed, but he did get to the big couch in the living room. He laid Jin down and held one of his hands. "Hold on, I'm going to get you some water." Nathan hesitated, but leaned forward and kissed Jin's forehead. "Please hold on a little longer." He started to get up so he could rush to the kitchen and get Jin a glass of water.

Jin gave a soft smile as he was hefted up and let the other place him. "Please don't leave me for too long Nathan." He pleaded softly. Nathan hadn't really answered him or responded fully to the kiss but the kiss on the forehead gave him a little boost. He just needed to feel needed and wanted again. He didn't NEED Nathan exactly but he was very sick he hadn't felt this sick since he was very small and didn't understand how his powers worked. Before he learned to use his odd appearance to his benefit. He didn't want Nathan to go though he needed to feed off of him. These people really would be the death him a wise person would leave as soon as he felt better and yet he couldn't abandon Nathan or Luca. He had to help both of them Luca's whole outlook was unhealthy he didn't want the designer be thought of so poorly. Especially since he knew how much he loved Nathan. Nathan needed to be free of this place he had to help. He wanted both of them to be happy and think of the confidence boost and gratitude he would receive when he fixed this mess. He tried to focus on that right now to keep himself strong so he didn't pass out before the man got back.

Nathan came back with the glass of water and put it at a place where Jin could reach it if he needed it. While Nathan was gone, he devised how he could best care for a creature that depended of dependency. Jin needed a confidence boost more than anything. Nathan kneeled beside Jin, and with a deep inhale, he swallowed his own pride and crawled onto the couch with him. Nathan hugged Jin around the waist, his head on Jin's chest. "I do need to be saved," he whispered, closing his eyes. "I'm just... It seems that after I get saved from one situation, it leads me to a whole new problem that I need to be saved from. It's become a vicious cycle, and I don't know who to trust anymore. I could be a complete idiot, but I believe you when you say that you care about me and Luca. I never thought someone could care for more than one person before, but..."
Nathan sighed and wondered if it was Jin's breathing that calmed down or his own. "I... I do like you. I don't want to admit it. I hate how I am. I hate the way I was born. My father will never accept me the way I am, so I hoped and prayed that I could change... Who I like, so that I can finally go home. All it does is make me frustrated and bitter. I don't know what to do. I need someone to save me, and I don't mind if its you. I like you Jin, I don't want you to feel sick or regret being here. If Luca listens to you, then I need you here to protect me."
He was making himself move much faster than he was comfortable with, but he was desperate for Jin to feel better. He just hoped he was helping and that he wasn't confessing for nothing.
