Ray gazed over at her with his only eye visable. "As you keep saying. Though I'm not going to prove you wrong. I don't think the out come of that would be good." Turning back to the stove he raised a brow. "You wish you could stay here with me?" A small smirk hinted at his corners of his lips. "I don't think that possible. But you can always dream of living with a smelly rat." Putting a cover over the soup he'd let it boil for a few minutes. Turning to face Amaya he thought about her question. "You don't exactly have clothes to be playing in the snow with." Though he supposed she could always borrow something of his or at least while her's dried up. No! What was he thinking! That wouldn't be appropreate.

Hagi shook his head patting her gently "Don't worry I'll find her you need to spend some time with Hiro a little don't ya think[/b[ he said gently with a smile.

Hiro smiled," I'm glad." He replied and kept his hand in her's. As they walked out Kayami looked up at Hiro and Hiro smiled at Hagi before looking at Edra again.

Ariana had been shocked but she nodded," It's... alright." She said, surprised he didn't change. She had taken his hand when he helped her up and brushed her dress off," So...." She spoke softly," If I remember right you should have changed into a snake..." She murmured and just by looking at her face they could see she was confused.

Kayami giggled and when she saw Hiro and Edra come out she ran up and hugged Edra and Hiro at the same time," I can't believe you two are a couple now!" She said happily and Hiro blushed again, realizing how easily his little sister could tell.

Amaya giggled a little," I'd be fine. But if you don't want me staying here I won't." She said and smiled softly, she sighed and shut her eyes. He was right. She didn't have the proper clothing... Her eyes opened and she smiled again," I could have mom drop something off.... she was looking forward to seeing you too..." She said softly.

"Snakes are cold blooded creatures. If i'm in the cold without that medicine...i will die. the snake side of me will take control and i will die. The medicine incapacitates the snake and blocks it out so i can go out in the cold. tho it only works for me and only during the cold season." Kisuka said as he sat back down.

Ray seemed to clam up at the idea of meeting her mom for the first time. Well, since the accident. He suppose he had met her once more or several. Though he couldn't remember any of those. He bit his lip a little looking away. It would seem he was pondering it for a moment. "Or perhaps we could just pay a visit to your house after we eat. Then you could have access to clothing." He wasn't sure why he said that. Perhaps it would draw too much attention to them and he didn't want that to happen. After all it was part of what the fight was about but right now Ray couldn't remember that.

Ariana nodded," It makes sense...." She murmured and smiled a little," Well I'll be right back." She said then slipped off into the bathroom.

Amaya looked at Ray when he said that and shrugged," If you insist. Either way I'll get you outside." She said and stood up. She pulled out her phone and dialed her home phone," Hey mom? Yeah it's Amaya!" She laughed," So, mom, I'm at Ray's place and I need a change of clothes so I'll be dropping by with him later so we can play in the snow... oh. Okay. Thanks mom!" She put the phone to her neck," Ray!! Come here!" She shouted and waited for him to come.

Kate followed after ariana and left kisuka sitting there. She walked into the bathroom to see Ariana there. "Soooo...what are you thinking about?"

Ariana looked at Kate and covered her eyes before uncovering them to talk," Just mom. I'm worried." She murmured and knew her father would be taking his anger out on her right now.... "Mom doesn't deserve this... what can I do for her?" She asked and covered her eyes again, fear for her mother obvious through her words.

"She can't stay with that man. You know what we have to do. We need to get her out of there before he does something drastic." Kate came up to her and put a hand on arianas shoulder. "I'll see if i can get kisuka to help."

Ray mirrored Amaya's shrug before turning back to the soup. He turned it down to a simmer while she was on the phone with her mom and didn't want to be listening in. He moved the kettle off the hot burner and turned it off before turning in the direction that Amaya's voice sounded from. "What?" He asked moving around and over to where she now stood. "Whats up?"

Ariana nodded weakly again," Yes but..." She broke off," How? How can we get her out of there?" She asked, her head resting in her hands again. She hated her father but at the same time loved him. It was a hate love relationship or whatever. She didn't mind if he hit her... hitting her mom was another thing! Tears fell down on to the counter as the first sob ripped through her, a unnatural sound for this calm girl.

Amaya smiled at him and held the phone out," Mom wants to speak with you." She said and he could hear Amaya's mothers voice," Ray?" Amaya giggled softly.

Hagi could tell by Hiro's expression and the hand holding that apparently there had been a success for his cousin. Hagi tried to keep his laughter to himself as he heard Kayami's words, he gently patted her shoulder. Now Kayami don't embarrass the two or they will hide there love from us" he said teasingly. [how are you feeling Edra?' he asked gently pleased to see her happy.

Edra blushed heavily at Kayami and Hagi's words. "I am fine thank you Hagi. she said with a light smile. "Kayami come give me a hug I require rest and you need to spend some time with Hiro my dear" she said her voice soft.

Ray stared at the phone in horror. "What? But-" Taking the phone from her he pressed it up to the phone. "Hello?" The sad thing was he hadn't remembered what her name was. Guilt strung through his heart. Why he felt that he wasn't sure.

Hiro let go of Edra's hand when Kayami hugged her and smiled, the little girl was so happy.

Kayami laughed and nodded to Hagi before she ran up to Edra and hugged her," I love you edra-sama." She said and hugged her happily.

Ariana wiped her eyes," R-really? Thanks Kate..." She murmured and tried her best to stop crying. When she composed herself she wiped her eyes clean, although it was obvious she had been crying, she managed a smile," I'll tell him. Just... take over if I can't handle it. Okay?"

Amaya covered her mouth to restrain a giggle. Her mother's voice could be heard," Ray? Oh my, you sound so grown up! No wonder my daughter likes you!" She said and Amaya blushed, hearing this, but didn't deny it. Her mother kept talking," I take it that you'll be coming with her when she comes to get clothes? I'm so happy that she found you again." She said and the woman was genunily happy.
