"I am just worried for everyone's safety..."
Shade still didn't look convinced. She seemed a bit paranoid as well, but tried to find some sort of comfort within Keys words. Shade watched Dorien goes upstairs and took this as an opportunity to hopefully talk to him. She quickly followed, knocking on the door of his room first. "Dorien?"

Constantin stayed downstairs, smirking a little that Shade trusted him around her friends. He already smelled very interesting blood. It made him hungry, his red eyes scanning the room. The man wondered if he could get away with it...just this once. "So, you are an old friend of Shade?" His question was directed at Keys.

Shade opened the door and stepped within the room. She closed the door behind her and looked at Dorien, smiling softly.
"I-It's been so long since I saw you...w-will you ever forgive me for leaving so suddenly?" Shade stepped a little closer, hesitantly. She was unsure if the other was mad with her or not.

* Keys pats the kids softly on the head and walks towards Constantin *Yes, I've known her since before I became a mixed blood. She gave Shevre and I the honor of being her children's godparents* Ty stops to listen, flinching when he hears her say "mixed blood" *

*Dorien shrugs Shade off* You were ignorant to try and lead Coderojo away when we could have protected you. *Dorien walks back downstairs, to awake to sleep now*

*Dorien looks back toward Shade* I don't hate you. *Dorien looks away* It is different with Sirus, he only wants me, no one else. *Dorien goes downstairs. He looks at everyone* I am going away for a time, goodbye. *And Dorien vanishes*

* Keys puts her hand on Shade's shoulder *Want Niry to help? She's good with making any pain go away.* looks to Ty with sympathetic eyes, then to Constantin *Its not the fact that I'm no longer pure, its the fact that he couldn't protect me.* motions the children to her, Ty and Niryia greet her with a hug *Ty's always tried being the man of our little family, but when I joined you on your adventures, I didn't want them along. I would never forgive myself if something was to happen to them.* Keys hugs them tightly, trying to stop herself from crying *
* Niry tries to hide Key's face *She's been a great sister and mother to us, even when she could have just left us with relatives. Instead, she put her life into giving us the best life possible. Now, we want to join everyone and help to pay back what we owe her.

* Keys, looks up, still hugging Ty and Niry *I was on one of our adventures and ran into a not so nice person, actually more than one. In the end, I was willing to give my own life force to keep Dorien alive and away from his family. But Shevre broke a vow to not bite me so that I'd live. Mages aren't immortal, we age like humans. Now I'm part vampire, I haven't aged a day since then. Ty wanted to come with me that time, but I had said no. I'm glad I did, otherwise he might have died.* Ty sighs *I'm not that weak, I may have gotten a little banged up but at least you wouldn't have had to risk your own life.
