I learned about short-term variations in water quality at a Karst Spring in Kentucky. I read a paper about it for my hydrogeology class.

HorsesOfTheNight Esiris We planted a ton of seeds today! What kind of seeds!? Basil, chives, chervil, marigolds, rosemary, lemon verbena, lemon balm, mint, rose, rhubarb, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, cumin, cilantro, different tomatoes, different kinds of spinach, different beets- including the bulls eye ones, Cosmic Purple carrots, dragon carrots, radishes, bush peas, kale Rainbow Chard, some pansy, Johnny Jump Ups, garlic, onion, sorrel, Rocket, khalrabi, leeks, spring onions and a bunch of other stuff. We also weeded, started a batch of ale, built a trellis for the raspberries and got a nice fire pit. We also moved some stone from the front yard to the back to set the firepit on and then we turned the compost pile and built a brick walk infront of it.

i need to get down to the home depot to get some of my stuff for the garden. we're going to experiment with container gardening this year, in case of lubbers, so we can move the containers to the porch or indoors if needed. and im not looking forward to cleaning up the yard after yesterday's really bad weather. we had, like 3 microbursts in a row here in central florida yesterday, so now there's branches everywhere. (i'm not sure if they were officially microbursts, but from my time living in kansas, they sure seemed like them)

I bought myself a new jacket. The jackets I have are a puffy jacket for cold dry weather, a ski jacket for skiing and a wool trench coat for fluff. This new jacket is just a shell and waterproof so it's great for spring, summer and fall and I can layer warmer stuff under it. It's black with a purple/pink zipper.
I also bought a new lens cap for my telephoto lens. It's fantastic and it's even the same brand - not too shabby for having the employee having to dig through the office to find it.
