The panther-fox looked at the newly arrived creature ((Miri I believe?)) with curiosity. Its vicious growls and snarls calmed while the panther-fox tilted its head this way and that, “I already am confused on why Man hunts Man, but to pit one Flesh Eater with another?! I woe to believe the madness has spread, can this truly be?” Thus the ancient beast took a step forward toward the newly arrived and spoke, such as before, in the tongue of beasts; "We be of one blood, ye and I." That was the saying, the Law of the Jungle, the Master Words of Beasts; the truce between one Flesh Eater and another, as long as one does not hurt the other then there is no quarrel. Then again, it is a very old saying and not one a domesticated beast would know, nor any other kind in this time era. (( Don’t worry about, its always nice to have a break. I should be thanking you actually : ] Happy Earth Day by the way : ]  ))

Kira to notice of the panther-fox had approached Miri. Miri was her best friend and if that other beast ended up faintly hurting her Kira didn't know what she would do.
Miri turned his head towards the panther-fox "One of the same?" he spoke back in the tongue. Abandoned as an egg and raised by Kira, Miri had little knowledge of the beast world.

“Hark! It speaks! Though, why does this confuse you so? Of one blood we are, for aren’t we but brother and sister of the wood, the forest, the jungle?” A pause was in placed, for thought passed through the very wild panther-fox.
“You do not understand, do you? Has such teachings stopped long ago? Why I remember the ever tame rats knowing of the laws of the jungle, tell me is this true? You do not know?” The beast looked at the other confused more then ever. The bliss of the new creature was very easy to read, and it was clear now that this creature was very much docile, perhaps not by pure nature but through domestication.

"Perhaps it has, perhaps it hasn't... Abandoned as an egg was I and thus I know only faint knowledge of such laws or code." Miri spoke in the beast language as she moved slightly closer to the other beast.

“Oh such woe full tale! Woe indeed! I pity thee I truly do!” said she with true grief in a now purring voice.
Then panther-fox noticed how it was approaching closer, and closer which intern made the hairs on its back stick up while a growl began to form in her throat.
“Such bliss shall be your downfall tame one, stay out of my way and I shall stay out of yours, thus is the Jungle Law, and the fact that your knowledge is limited brings danger upon thy self. For as much pity as I may have, knowledge is the key for survival, with out it protection will be scarce. Thus is the Jungle Law.”
The growl became more definite now as the panther-fox now bared its teeth out in warning, which made the beast look very menacing, vicious and indeed wild.

Katara's eyes darted between thier opponents, watching each one carefully to see who would make the first move. Her eyes caught sight of the open door and she saw the sun beginning to set. At least she'd have the power of the night on her side. The moon would be half full, but it would be enough. She could already feel her energy returning to her. No matter what, she was going to get Aang out.

The princess took this moment, having thoroughly blended into the background, to launch a rather terrible and sneaky attack. Though she knew Zuko could redirect her blow, he was not quite what her lightning strike was aiming. Nor was it at the two who stood within his saving distance. She threw an insanely powerful bolt at the ceiling, causing a large amount of rubble to come crashing down, threatening to crush her enemies.
