I tried making it more like a slit but for some reason it didn't work out too well....

The color of the iris looks better in yours... I can fix the slit and put up the boarder to make the ripped edge.
EDIT: THe slit is a pain in the a**... I give up on that now. But I put the border on it and added in my siggy. I love the gold color of them since it looks awesome. You did an awesome job with the eyes. Way better than I did.

Yeah I had a big problem with the slit sweatdrop I don't really like how it came out but if you like it I suppose thats all that matters.

That now looks awesome... hey do you want a PNG file with the torn border effect in it? It is read so that you can place it and then change the color to what ever you want in MS Paint?

Sure :3 I gave the eye a bit of a blur so that it fits in better with the rest of the picture. Its not very noticeable but its there...

The blur makes it look more like I/we did not merge two pics together and is nicer... I think that is perfect now. Here is the border.png:
